Night Market, food, mart, bank all at around. Really convenient.
4.0
Very centrally located
The shower head suddenly detached itself from the pipe on day 3 of my stay… I just decided to bathe with water from the hose. Inconvenient but no alternative

Very nice and helpful reception staff - thank you, Walter!
Excellent location in Gaya street.
Good security.
Self-service for fresh towels, toilet paper etc.
Our room was not clean when we arrived.
All the surfaces were very dusty and full of hair.
Had to clean it myself, which was a bit disgusting and rather annoying.
Air condition was old, and either too warm or ice cold, nothing in between.
The common areas looked neglected and rather shabby.

Can't get more central. AC was very cold. Wifi was excellent.
Bathroom is a little awkward. Shower and toilet are very close to each other. Still worth the stay.

Friendly & helpful staff.

Location is unbeatable for access to eateries and Sunday Market. Everything in walking distance.
Manager very helpful
Only air con, fan would be nice option

Great location on Gaya street, check in process was easy and Walter communicated clearly over wattsapp, the original room we were given seemed to have some electric issues ( lights wouldn't turn off, AC didn't turn on ) I called Walter who put us in an alternative room straight away. Room was a good size. Good value for money
- Doorbell kept going off very late into the night
- The pillows were gross - very brown under the covers and there was a large stain on the mattress, we were given one big towel and one small towel both of which didn't smell very clean
- I think a lick of paint and some new towels and pillows would make a huge difference to this room I would probably give it a 9 otherwise - the guesthouse could use some TLC and a spring clean.

The room is simple and comfortable.
Clean, smell good and the aircond very cold and nice.
If you want a hot drink, there is water heater and cup provided.
Heater for hot shower available, and water pressure is good.
The host really friendly and helpful.
The location is convenience. Easy to find food, ATM machine, mini mart.
8-10 minutes walking distance to Todak waterfront seafood.
No elevator.

room and washroom very dirty and dusty

Low budget place to stay with good location to reach the most important places. Room is okay and clean. Friendly owner and good communication.

The room itself is very comfortable. Of course affordable for backpackers. Surrounded by everything that we need - banks, cafes, marts, watson and guardian also near. Sabah tourism centre is the opposite side, only 2mins walking. At night, walk to Pasar Malam Sinsuran, Dataran Todak, Handcraft Market. So happening.
Nothing.

Nothing

Great location, good beds, great staff, Wifi, hot showers, A/C. all working. Basic but spotlessly clean - recommended.
Nothing, really. A fridge would be great but that's just an idea of mine (=
2.5
This is a bare bones place to sleep. It is in a good location for mingling with local culture and delicious cheap food options. The private room with a bathroom and a window is just that. Not more and not less. good ac. The wifi is good for streaming most of the time but not sufficient for video conference. The price was $18 per night after you pay the tax. That is high compared to other places I stayed in KK. value ratio not so good based on my experience. Walter is very nice guy and possibly the dorm is a different story on value.
4.5
Strategic location. Lots of eateries and convenient stores nearby. TV comes with android tv box so lots of channel to choose from and in HD.
The sound of washing machine? of upstair tenants at night and after midnight. Lack of proper desk and chair, there is a dressing table instead. Also the cups provided were too small, about half the size of a regular mug.
3.5
The location quite good
