Rengøringen på vores værelse. Morgenmad var ok.
Hotellet var meget forfaldet og haven var fyldt med affald. Poolen og poolområdet var beskidt. Personalet var ikke særlig imødekommende.

Room, location, quiet atmosphere, greenery around.
Some reception staff are rude. They said they do not give housekeeping service after 5pm.

Comfortable, clean, very good location, nice staff and food was amazing, we com back to this hotel

Sobre todo la piscina. En Lumbini hace un calor abrasador y la piscina era una maravilla

Hotel in lovely grounds and pool lovely. Plenty of sunbeds. Food in restaurant lovely, fixed times (not my ideal) but did serve me just outside of these times. Great vegetarian (muttar paneer-wow!) and vegan food and probably the best Thali I've ever eaten! Room beautiful, liked the seating outside, good to relax with a cup of tea and a book. Organised tuk tuk for me to visit temples, and driver was great, used tuk tuk for 2 days. Location fine, same as most of the Hotels in Lumbini.
No fridge (important in that heat) and some works going on to an extention. Not too intrusive to most people as out and about sightseeing during day though.

Beautiful hotel grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool.
Cold shower. Slow service in restaurant.

Cleanliness, swimming pool and peaceful locality
Wish there was a swing and dedicated play area for children

the hosts are amazing, kind, generous and very genuine. And it’s nestled in the mountains surrounded by trees but very close to Kathmandu
nothing

Big hotel for tourist group, Big rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast
Despite saying a four-star hotel in the rooms there is no refrigerator, no safe, no hairdryer. Toiletries were not renovated on the second day. The water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent... Very difficult to take a shower. The restaurant is expensive and uninviting... either you settle for a sad evening buffet for a price that is high in Nepal, or you are dissuaded from ordering à la carte, always expensive, because you would wait too long

Breakfast was OK. Excellent location close to main pilgrimage site.
front desk manager was aggressive.

As people say "a bit tired hotel", not bad, Just little bit old. Little bit sovet union style)) it like all 4* indian hotels.
In Lumbini there is not much choice, good hotels exists, but too far from main sight seen place. And near by hotels are Just mostly horible.
So, that one is not a bad choice. Big garden and veeery big nice pool!
Food is very expancive, more then double price from normal, but in that village no any restourants, so no choice.
Food in buffet is good though.

Clean and comfortable . Foods are good

The property is right in front of the Lumbini park /Buddha Maya temple view from the balcony and also few minutes away from the main gates.
spacious clean and windows with natural light

Breakfast was expensive. The location was very far from Airport
Family Room of three bad room

I booked a deluxe double bed but there were two single beds. Reported to manager Anuj karki just said sorry but did nothing.
The bed was not the same as shown on the website and was charged.

AC was effective in the room.
Breakfast at Rs700 per head is quite expensive given the spread was very limited for vegetarians like us.
Hotel reception could have fans at least for the clients. Not a single fan in the hotel waiting area. Needless to state that there was no AC either in the reception waiting hall. There is only one fan over the receptionist. Rest all have to bear the hot and sultry climes while checking in or out.

I loved my stay, the staff is sweet and helpful, nice continental food. The pool! The hotel arranged a tuk tuk of sightseeing of all temples with a very sweet guy!
the wifi in the wing where I was staying was not working, also Ncell carrier has very little range inside the premises. That was for me a bit of a problem

very clean and decent property

Excellent location, very good for stay and food, very friendly staff, nice ambience.
Very poor wi fi connectivity.

For my overnight stay in Lumbini, I chose to stay at the Buddha Maya Garden rather than a standard guest house because I knew I’d have some free time and the idea of a nice place with a pool to relax in appealed.
The pool was decent, and there were a few sun loungers, although I had to help myself to a mattress and towels. The area was a bit of a mess and unsupervised.
The staff were pleasant enough but seem to just go through the motions.
Just after I ordered some lunch by the oool, a member of staff began to pressure wash around it. Not really conducive to relaxing!
It’s a strange hotel, stuck in its ways and showing its age. Totally lifeless apart from a couple of groups having meetings. Not sure if they were guests or not. I almost felt like I was in the way! Breakfast a bit lacklustre.
My room had the biggest bed I’ve ever seen, but it was pretty well worn and without things like a safe and hairdryer which you’d probably expect at this price point. There was a TV - local channels only, but it didn’t work anyway!
The bathroom, especially the bath itself, was looking very tired. Most frustratingly I couldn’t even use the bath because the water never got any hotter than tepid.
Perhaps the most irritating thing was that the Wi-Fi user name and password kept changing. I was only there 24 hours and I was on the fourth combo when I left!
