Perfection

We cannot say enough good things about Mr. B’s. This is a budget hotel/cottage in a small village outside a National park, so its offerings are simple but met all of our needs. The room was one of the nicest we had in Nepal (and the cheapest), the food was delicious and the whole experience left us relaxed and refreshed. I am not sure life will ever bring me back to Bardiya, but if it does- this is where I will stay.

Mr. B's place is definitely worth going to! I just HIGHLY recommend going there!

The time at Mr. B's was just awesome! When you visit Mr. B's it is more like family than being a guest! They were super friendly and helped us where they could. With the amazing guides we did some trips (jungle walk, jeep safari,) Mr. B organized for us.We saw tiger and rhino and big group of elephants.Also the food was the best I had ever in Nepal. And the accommodation is just amazing: Nice room, a beautiful garden, the river and just 2mins walk to the entrance of the National Park. Mr. B's place is definitely worth going to! I just HIGHLY recommend going there!

From start to finish I can just say that I had a wonderful time at Mr B's Place. The property is situated in a beautiful location right next to the entrance of Bardia National Park. I opted mainly for local food and that was delicious. The guided walks into the park were great and the guides were attentive and very knowledgeable. It was a privilege to see bengal tigers and indian rhino in the wild like that and the evening talks around the fireplace will stay long in the memory bank. I will definitely recommend Mr B's Place to friends and family. Thank you for a great time.

Beautiful Lodge with great friendly staff. Mr B's sons are also nature guides that do wonderful Safaris in the park. The food is delicious as well. Highly recommended place!

Mr B & all the staff were welcoming and arranged everything great, from pick-up, safari, lodge food and facilities, and to departure! Located only few meters from National Park entrance, and also very close to few shops and ATMs of main street nearby.

Warm welcome and knowledgeable guides

Friendly staff and wonderful guides. Thanks Mr. B and family for the friendly welcome! Mr. B was also easy to contact and very helpful in providing directions from KEP Airport. Room was big and very clean.

Wonderful staff, great location, lovely hotel, everything made easy for us… and saw a tiger!

Really great stay. We were met at the bus station (without having asked) and driven back to the hotel. Super friendly staff, who went above and beyond to be helpful. Managed to get us a bus ticket and arrange it all for us. Also we loved the safari, which was all sorted for us.

Where Dreams Come True!

The warm feeling of staying with family. Awesome jungle guides, knowledgeable staff, and so very quick to please! Fabulous home-grown organic food for every meal. Evenings around the bonfire are so much fun!

No negatives, other than we had to leave too soon! An amazing adventure where dreams come true - in 3 days we saw tiger, rhino, leopard, 2 elephant herds & the rare river dolphin. THANK YOU!

Excellent service and a very comfortable stay.

The staff were very friendly and always eager to help. The 5 minute walk to the national park makes it a fantastic location for guided tours to the park. And it had the best bathroom we encountered in our 4 weeks of travel!

The dining hall lacked a bit of atmosphere.

It is one of those special places where you would want to go back to.

Mr B's Place is right next to the entrance of Bardia in a beautiful location. I mainly opt for the local food on the menu and it was delicious. As a homestay, it is a family business and it is evident that they care about their guests' welfare. Their guides are also very kind, attentive and I enjoyed the daily hikes with them in Bardia. Mr B and his sons went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I can only recommend Mr B's place to friends and family. I am looking forward going back there in the future.

There is nothing that I did not like.

Great hotel near awesome park

Everything was great. Local charm from a hotel owner who's spent years in the jungle and knows the place and wildlife like no one else. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Food was good and in large portions. Guided trips in the jungle were spectacular.
