A lovely place to stay, complimented by some beautiful sunshine!!

Location was excellent - lovely view and plenty of sunshine in apartment!! Everything was exceptionally clean and bed was the most comfortable one experienced in years of travel. Reception was very welcoming and helpful. A huge plus was the restaurant next door (Blue Door, Paihia) One breakfast and two dinners during our stay were superb and added to a thoroughly enjoyable Paihia visit.

Sadly the lack of space in the lounge area we found a little restrictive. Otherwise a lovely place.

Great place to stay.

It was a great stay. Everything was perfect Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good with a beaut Cafe next door. It is across the road from the beach. I would stay again.

Getting out of the car park was a bit tricky. Nothing really to complain about, just a tight space to manevour out of

Washing machine and Tumble Drier in the apartment was great! Lovely view and location.

Lift was out of order for a bit, so had to mission getting bags and luggage down stairs and into lower ground parking. But other than that, it was perfect!

Overall a very comfortable stay with a view to boot. Would definitely come back during Summer!

Excellent location within walking distance to town centre. Easy check in process and waterfront view stunning. Plenty of towels, linen, and a well stocked kitchen. Water pressure in shower excellent and extremely comfortable stay. Would definitely come back in Summer.

Would be great to have some water facilities during the winter months. All the teaspoons were stained and chipped (like someone had used them as screwdrivers?). Would have been great to have additional toiletries in the bathroom.

The location was perfect and it was clean and comfortable. Also liked that checkout was 11am instead of 10am 🙂

Trying to get out of the narrow exit in the carpark was very difficult, actually scrapped the side of my car, as did the car infront of me. Also didn't think we should of had to do our own recycling/cleaning etc for the price we were paying

HWC leaking very badly, cold and hot water feeds wrong way round on the kitchen tap. filter tap loose. shower pressure not good, blinds broken in master bedroom.

Great place to stay

Good size bedrooms and lounge. A bathroom for each bedroom was also great. It was only a short walk to Paihia centre. We stayed 4 nights but could easily have stayed longer.

No gym.

Amazing, great value and beautiful facilities.

We cooked breakfast in the beautiful kitchen, and had a great time out at the local restaurant. It was so worth ever bit.

Alfresco the next door restaurant, they were rude and unacceptable.

Passable

Noisy party bus parked up outside the hotel for maybe an hour at midnight or just after. Loud music and yahooing kept us all awake. Also we paid $500 for one night and we were put into a wheelchair room. By that I mean all the kitchen benches and appliances were at waist height, including the bathroom basins etc. Annoying to use and if they had told us this was the room we would have tried elsewhere. For $500 for one night I didn't think giving us that room without telling us was good enough. When I raised the issue of the height of everything in the room they weren't interested in discussing it. The attitude was we gave you our last room and no one has ever minded it.

Exceptional

Lovely, well-equipped apartment with elegant decor. Views over the Bay of Islands to Russell including perfect view of the New Year fireworks. Free parking. Across the road from the beach. Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops including supermarket.

The price was high, but it was a splurge. Paihia is lively and pretty with lots to do, but fairly wild on NYE.
