the huts themselves are very nice to stay in, perfect location especially with a bike. the gentleman working there did our washing and made us feel very comfortable and was super friendly
there was just a few ants as the floor had visible cracks in the floor that could let bugs in but still this is very normal in most accommodation in Thailand so is a very small negative

location and looks
could see through the floors so bugs do get in

The room was very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful
There is a smell from the bathroom. Absolutely perfect to stay here for a few nights, especially for the full moon party. Great location

It's convenient enough for a couple of nights - nothing amazing but safe, private, and clean enough. If you're visiting Koh Phanang for the full moon party, this accommodation is a great, cheap option. The hotel can sort you out with transport to the ferry port, and to the full moon party. Good wifi and a nice hammock area outside the room. The hotel is easy to locate and is near 7/11 as well as a few good restaurants and some nice cafes (about 5-10 minute walk).
The room itself is outdated and a bit uncomfortable (harsh lighting and felt a bit damp). But good enough for staying over the full moon party period. I'd advise bringing your own pillow cases.

We were there for 3 nights, over the full moon party. Good location, if you want to be a bit away from it but not too far (about 150 Baht per person, per way with a taxi). The beach is close, but not too good to swim in (at least during our stay).
Sadly the bathroom was still a bit dirty from the previous visitors, which we didn’t enjoy (like rests of soap pieces and hair in the shower). And there were stains on the bed cover, but nothing too tragic. Also we didn’t feel welcome during the check in and check out and when we had questions, the communication was very hard and we were as clueless as before.

I lost my key at the party, the owner guy rode me up hill to get it, he is very kind & responsive. The venue is very peaceful surround with nature

good location for full moon party. 100-150B taxi there.
there was a toad in the shower and multiple other wildlife creatures in the room. the owner did remove the road for us.
the shower was barely a cold dribble.
you had to padlock the door shut.
wasn’t good value but we did pay a full moon party premium I think. 2400B for 2 nights

Convenient location, on the main road.
Easy to book a bike (same family). You do need a bike to move around as the island is very big.
Staff has been helpful.
Possibility to have laundry done there.

This place is infested with bed bugs and the owner wanted to spray the bed, thinking that would get rid of them. I had to explain how serious it was and if he could wash all of my belongings. He did not seem to be happy when I asked him to put my non-washable items in the dryer. If you don’t want bed bugs, then for sure don’t stay here. They just changed the sheets and sprayed

The bench on the outside of the room & the effort of the staff.
The bugs crawling on my friends leg, while sleeping. The urin smelling ac, idk if someone urinates behind the house where the unit pulls the air in. The room which was filthy for at least the whole day in 30 degrees, before they made it up for us in 5minutes and tried to cover the smell with even worse grosse cheap room spray ,because of which I couldnt enter the room for another 30minutes and even in front of the room I had the smell/taste in my mouth.
The barely traceable location with a blank big white sign, and when you put in the thai or english location in maps, it sends you somewhere else.
Generally the hygene, dirty shower head dirty bathroom, loose toilet seat etc...

The staff was friendly and helped us with everything easily (ferry transfer, motorbike rental,..). Muesli at breakfast was quiet good.
The toilet of the bungalow they gave us smelled of sewer. We stayed for 4 nights and the price wasn't worth at all for the facility. They actually take care about the garden but I would strongly recommend to improve the bungalow instead: from the toilet to the oldfashion furniture.
There was no safe bow inside the bungalow.

The bungalow with fan was perfect for our little 2 night stay. Room included breakfast which is served till 11am so that was a good start to the day. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Food was great on the evening too. Hammock, toilet roll, a flush and mosquito netted windows; couldn't ask for more.
Although a little walk from the beach the facilities offered more than made up for it (e.g. laundry, scooter rental). Very chilled so if you're looking for more of a party/drinking scene I'd head further down the beach but overall couldn't fault.
