We found the staff very helpful, especially a young lady receptionist by the name of C Williams who dealt with us in English. The lovely display of Orchids
The hotel bedrooms need updating, we had a room that had loads of stains on the carpet and a couple of blood stains on bed linen. Thanks

Staff is nice.
Wifi is terrible, I cannot smoothly browse websites with either my phone or laptop. And there is no wired connection.

The location right by the beach, and in the middle of the island, allowing to explore both sides. Close to the bus stop.
Food was tasty and fresh although a little repetitive if you stay for more days. You can replace breakfast for lunch.
Facilities were a little run down but everything in order. Room with nice size and balcony facing the ocean (worth it over the mountain/road view).
Hotel has convenience store inside which is good, and plenty of amenities.
I really wished I could give it a better review, since it's a nice place, but there is a lot they can do to improve, and hope they do.
Outside pool is peaceful, no music or much noise, perfect to relax and read a book.
For no reason, both pools are closed from noon to three pm on weekdays, which we complained about but to no worth. A lot of people complaining, and they don't do any maintenance other than kicking guests out and closing the umbrellas.
Staff (and manager) spoke no English at all. To complain to the manager they had to call English speaking staff, which they do have but, incomprehensibly, not in customer service: they are attending the pool or life guards on the beach.
You have to pay for sun umbrellas and loungers at the beach (not not at the pool, the exact same ones).
Virtually no vegetarian options, and vegan is pretty much impossible. The lunch staff was very nice and did a simple tomato cheese pizza, as there was no vegetarian food that day.
A lot of the food tags weren't translated to English.
Too many paper tickets: tickets for breakfast, for dinner, for towels, for spa, for daily water bottles...
Onsen/spa is not included in the price.
Hotel doesn't have transfer or tours from their location. Transportation around the island is limited. To rent a car you need a translated to japanese drivers license. Buses are infrequent and take forever to get to location (1h30min to Naha, 2h to Aquarium). Most tours don't leave from Onna, only Naha.

many activities, we can stay there all day.
old appliances. uncomfortable beds. hotel guests can not use public bath for free. slot laundry machines are not enough for every guests, guests have to wait a long time to get use.

Lovely location next to the beautiful beach. There two pools inside and outside. There are many residents in the hotel and gum as well.
Bed is a little bit out of fashion.

The furniture was not very modern, but well maintained, and overall the room was very clean and tidy. There's service rooms on each floor where you can get drinks from a vending machine, do your laundry, get free ice, and heat your food in a microwave. Plenty of stuff to do at the hotel (shops, pool, spa, fitness studio, etc.) and also the possibility to book other activities such as snorkeling and diving.
The hotel beach was not too crowded (potentially still due to covid) and there were actually some spots where you could see some fish while snorkeling. There's also a net in the water that's supposed to keep away jellyfish and other dangerous animals, and so I felt secure.
You could also use your breakfast voucher for lunch, which is very nice when you want to sleep a bit longer. Overall I can definitely recommend staying there, the price is very good compared to other hotels nearby.
There's also a family mart close by (5 minutes by foot) and also two restaurants. If you're willing to walk a bit longer (10-20 minutes), you can reach the city center with many options to go out and eat.
It wasn't very easy to communicate in english with the staff, however, they were always friendly and had translation tools at the reception and information so in the end it always worked out fine.

Loved the proximity to the beach. I also loved that if it was raining there was an indoor pool option as well as crafts and arcade room for the kids. The water activities were awesome and affordable. The hotel gave us a lot of coupons to use throughout our stay for the gift shop, spa, dinner, water and towel rentals. Breakfast was complimentary with the ticket they give you at check in and if you don't use it for breakfast it could also be used for lunch.
The bar was closed and no options for adult drinks besides chu-hi . Also didn't like that there wasn't an easy option for lunch. Some hotels have quick grab options at the walk up bar such as french fries, chicken tenders, pizza, nacho etc but this hotel doesnt so you have to go to the restaurant to eat which breaks up the day at the beach. There is a family mart within walking distance so you could get a quick bite there before heading to the beach, or there's a burger place within walking distance also.
