Historic hotel with a fantastic location opposite the pyramids. Three very good restaurants, the Indian was particularly good. Very good pool and sun terrace too.

Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Cairo, the Marriott Mena Hotel stands as a beacon of luxury and hospitality. From the moment I stepped into the opulent lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an unforgettable stay.
First and foremost, the staff at the Marriott Mena Hotel deserve the highest praise. Their dedication to providing exceptional service is truly unparalleled. Every member of the team, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was not only met but exceeded. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests made me feel like a VIP from the moment I arrived until the moment I departed.
The accommodations at the Marriott Mena Hotel are nothing short of exquisite. My room was impeccably designed, blending modern elegance with timeless comfort. The plush bedding, luxurious amenities, and breathtaking views of the city made for a truly indulgent retreat. Whether unwinding after a day of exploration or preparing for a busy day ahead, the comfort of my room provided the perfect sanctuary.
One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel's restaurants. From the delectable breakfast buffet to the tantalizing flavors of the à la carte menu, every meal was a culinary delight. The talented chefs at the Marriott Mena Hotel showcase the best of Egyptian and international cuisine, ensuring that every dish is a feast for the senses.
In addition to the impeccable service and luxurious accommodations, the Marriott Mena Hotel offers a range of amenities to enhance the guest experience. The fitness center, spa, and outdoor pool provide opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation, while the business center caters to the needs of corporate travelers.

Within walking distance of the Pyramids (10 mins ) and 15 min taxi ride from the Grand Egyptian Museum. Stunning views of Pyramids from bedroom ( room 430 ) and restaurant. Hotel and grounds are kept immaculately and all hotel staff courteous and friendly .
Room air conditioning a bit noisy at night . Otherwise exceptional .

Locat and atmosphere
Not able to have one room to accommodate my wife and 2 children. I wish they have a room with 2 full size or queen bed. I made the booking for one room for 2 adults and 2 children and I ended up having to pay for rooms that open up to each other. I did not budget that.

we forgot a beauty case with earrings, beauty products, a dental bite and other things and they could not find it. very disappointed that it got stolen by staff in a 5 star hotel.
they do not answer booking DMs and emails, only talk by phone.

Clean rooms, great service and amazing views from the hotel. The hotel is right next to the pyramids and very convenient for a tour.

Breakfast was amazing and the view of the pyramids was mind blowing. Beautiful hotel setting and lots of good options for dining.
It's a bit far from other attractions but we preferred to away from the hectic downtown Cairo area. Just plan for time in traffic to get anywhere else.

The MENA House truly is a one of a kind property. It’s life changing to wake up to the pyramids daily. Being in the direct pyramid view room was absolutely worth the money!
Because it’s far from the city & understandably so, you don’t really stay at the MENA house to then tour Cairo. This is a little oasis out of Cairo and serves exactly what it intends. But it may limit your dining options etc.

The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice
That the room was far away from the elevator. It's very hot in Egypt right now. The last thing I want is a long walk in a stuffy hallway. Could use some AC in the hallways. $300 a night i want comfort at every angle. The restaurant is and food is very nice but the fact that you have to walk outside for 5 minutes to get to it in the baking sun was not a hit with me. Minor faults from a traveler who could not take the heat of Egypt nobody's fault but mine for coming here in summer. Otherwise this is an awesome hotel

One word: location!
Total unbeatable location right in front of the pyramids with exceptional views from the room and restaurant. Nothing beats that honestly.
Second: staff: amazing staff who made our stay personalised. They knew it was her birthday and made it a point to wish her throughout the day!
Third: the restaurant: absolutely loved the 139 restaurant and food. Are there for all 3 days that we stayed
Furnishings: a lit run down and old for the price paid
Perhaps a bit far from the airport and city but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Very close to the Pyramid, the restaurant and the room I stayed in can see the Pyramid. The breakfast is nice, chef will ask about the dining experience of each table. It can be seen that the hotel is very attentive; the environment is good, quiet, and very private, which is very suitable for vacation.
The bed is too soft for me, there will be noise when I turn over, the soundproofing of the room is not good

The location was incredible, the property was beautiful and the service was great.
It was a bit confusing to find the restaurant so maybe better signage in the hotel. Otherwise, everything else about the property was amazing.

Super hotel, set in a fabulous setting for the Pyramids. Whether or not you opt for a pyramid view, you'll not be disappointed as the wonderfully appointed gardens will provide the perfect location to view them. And if you want to check them out in person, they're a very short walk from the hotel. Everything about my stay was great - lovely room, fabulous team and an overall ambience of relaxation and enjoyment. I even managed to leave my iPad behind, but the team recovered it from my room and we were reunited the next day. Thank you! Looking forward to returning.

We were very excited to stay at the hotel given its impressive history and the fact that it is so close to the Giza Plateau. Our room (which we paid a bit extra to upgrade to at check-in) was spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable, and - most importantly - it had a balcony looking out to the pyramids! We enjoyed dinner at the Italian restaurant, and a drink at the bar. The breakfast was superb - not only was the food really good, but you could enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the pyramids! The service from each staff member we encountered was outstanding - everyone was warm, friendly, attentive, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Though we did not have time to use it, there was a large pool on-site and a gym. We highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return!
