nice stay not far from center

Nice location not far from a park and the main street. There are some nice restaurants nearby, a 20 minute walk and you will find lots of options :D The wifi worked well at the property, nice rooms, good vibe

This review is to help foreigners traveling to Argentina, specifically relating to the exchange rate. The property kindly informed me that VISA/ Mastercard rate allows for something similar to Blue dollar rate (this is new as of late 2022, checkout VISA website for more information). Very nice to know, as it has helped us in other hostels since, very convenient. Although the property did charge an additional 5% before swiping the card, different from the amount that day according to the official exchange. Note to guestS: Do your math before swiping cards ;)

excellent friendly helpfull staff, in a very clean well maintained hostel. one of the best !!

I liked just about everything ,except the kettles very old, no proper lid, very, very easy to burn fingers, I did !!

lower bunks need to be 6 inches higher ( cannot sit up straight head crash) need electric kettle, or replaclighter iI again burnt fingers.

Comfortable Beds and central location

Central location, close to centre. Staff were friendly and the kitchen was well stocked. Our private room, was very comfortable with an ensuite.

There wasn't much atmosphere to the hostel, we barely saw anyone else and the common room was very dark and not very appealing to hang out in. Fine for a quite stay.

Conveniently located hostel on a walking distance from multiple tourist attractions. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was tidy and clean.

There is a lot of noise coming from the street, which makes it difficult to sleep. Also the roller blind in front of the window didn’t fully close so there was a lot of light coming into the room.

Augustine on reception was amazing

Great place with loads of character. Augustine on reception was so helpful and the room was very clean. Fab location and felt safe going out at night.

Low price, but bring ear plugs

Cheap price, central location.

Even with closed windows and doors, we could hear all noises throughout the night, both from the street and from the hostel inside. We did not get good nights of sleep.

quiet place right in the centre

clean, great location, small enough to feel like home and quiet

the kitchen was a disaster, I could find better pots and pans in a garbage bin. not only were they barely usable you could also hurt and burn yourself with them. there wasn’t even a lighter for the cooker.

Very good

The Hostel is very central and there are lots of options for public transport, sightseeing and shops near by. There is a nice little rooftop terrace. Our dorm was very spacial, simple, but offered nearly all essentials you need. Also the common kitchen offers all essentials that you need for preparing yourself some meals. The common areas were cleaned daily.

The common room has no window so it was always quite muggy. And it was always quite loud from outside, due to the central location.

great property, great location and staff. i was in mixed dorm with 4 people and it was great, beds are comfy and have curtain to divide for privacy

Bathrooms were small but the showers were divided male/female. I also don’t think they clean the rooms everyday.

The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked and plenty of space to sit.

It cost twice as much as we thought it was going to as they converted the dollar price from booking.com at the blue rate. There was very little English spoken and our Spanish is poor so quite difficult to communicate.

Great location, restaurants nearby, 5 mins to center. amazing pillows. AC works well.

Shower is really small. No kettle in the kitchen and all the kitchen supplies were very old and didn’t feel clean. Could use sone sitting area in the lobby. Lots of noise in the night

Terrible cost-benefit

Location is good and the atrium and dining area are cool to hang out. - The woman who was at reception in the mornings was helpful.

Terribly expensive for what it is. I cannot stress this enough. - The guy who works reception in the evening is increidibly unhelpful. - It's not much of a hostel, more of a guest house for the elderly and students. That's not necessarily bad but if you expect to meet other travelers and overall have a "hostel" experience and environment, this is not the place. - Since people were living there long term, the fridges were always full and the rooms were messy as hell. - Kitchen is super tiny. - Showers are small and uncomfortable.

The staff are really nice and friendly. It's clean and the spaces are large. The location is good.

The only negative thing is the noise from the street in the bunk bed rooms.
