Antique Cartagena hotel with character; location is in the middle of the old town; big spacious rooms
Unfortunately the hotel is run down and it needs some attention to paint and renovations in general. The rooms are lacking hot water, the wifi is going on and off the whole time whilst we were told it was due to the rain but it also didn’t work when it wasn’t raining. The breakfast is served on the rooftop and there is limited space for every guest if the hotel is full. The options given (eggs, yoghurt, granola, waffles, arepas) are enough but it lacks taste - they were very plain. Staff seems to be chilling and watching their phones and speaking on their phones constantly and loudly. You can hear them constantly next to your room, next to the breakfast and when at the pool. Overall, no attention to guests and tranquility.

Alles schick, bequem, große Zimmer, leckeres Essen, super tolle Lage, ich würde wieder kommen.

Grand colonial 6meter ceiling rooms. I had the delux double and it was absolutely beautiful. As per the era there’s a little crumbling but that just adds to the appeal. The air com was terrific, icy cold for the heavy humidity of Cartagena. I’ve yet to try the breakfast. Overall would definitely come again.
The TV didn’t work in my room and wifi was patchy.

Como um hotel não tem elevador para receber idosos e pessoas especiais . Eu não tenho condições de subir escadas, tenho um problema no joelho

Beautiful building. Decorated to a traditional style which massively contributed to the atmosphere of the trip. Our room was a great size with lots of room and beautifully decorated.

Lovely little hotel located in an old house in the historical centre. It has an amazing rooftop and pool as well and the hotel reception is open 24h. The reception personnel was very helpful with everything including organising taxis for our ongoing trips. Thank you!
Everything was great :)

Great location, beautiful architecture, and somewhat helpful staff. Also connected to café which was convenient at times.
Water and electricity kept going out at peak times. Messed up our plans and even almost had us getting to a wedding late because we were unable to shower and get ready.

Loved the room and location and breakfast every day was wonderful

Great location and super helpful staff. The central courtyard and the roof deck are great places to hang out.
Sheets seemed old (stains) — expected better for the price.

Great architecture, super kind and helpful staff, loved the free breakfast, wonderful rooftop pool, loved the outdoor shower and toiletries in our unit, high powered AC and spacious room.
Nothing, all was wonderful! Only note to other travelers is that there is no elevator (but only 3 floors) so something to consider if you have difficulty with stairs.

Everything. This is a boutique hotel where you stay for the historic charm. Rooms are spacious, filled with history and so quiet. Despite being located dead center, the loudest "noise" we heard was that of a horse and carriage passing by. There is a large rooftop swimming pool and view terrace.
The reception staff is friendly and very helpful.
Cleaning all corners of the room to remove sandy dust could be improved so that one can walk around the room bare footed without having dirty feet.
Breakfast place is understaffed and therefore slow. It also starts at 7h30 only, which is too late for business or academic staff that need to leave by 7 or 7h30.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location couldn't be any better inside the old town, and not far from the bigger bus stops and the airport. We had the room right across the pool on the top floor, which was convenient, but could have been very noisy, if there had been people at the bar. Directly above our room was another lounge area, again, good for us that it wasn't used much, as it would've been very loud.
The whole hotel seemed to be under construction. There was lots of painting going on and other louder work with lots of dirt throughout the upper level hallways. Also, unlike advertised, there was no happy hour at the bar as the bar was closed.

Great location and the decor of the hotel is beautiful. We stayed there for 3 nights and had an amazing time! The staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is delicious. We would choose to stay here again if we come back to Cartagena!
Water was not always hot in the shower, but we did not signal this to the hotel staff, as it is manageable (especially with the high temperatures outside anyway). We would have loved to be able to spend some time on the rooftop terrace after a long day of exploring, but it closes completely after 10PM. All in all, there was no major issue, just small details.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked into my room, I was struck by the stylish and beautiful decor. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the design, from the artwork on the wall to the plush bedding.
But the room was just the beginning. The breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit any palate. And the staff was incredibly efficient and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable travel experience. The beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, and top-notch service combine to create an unforgettable stay that is truly worth every penny.

It has very good location, at the heart of Cartagena inside the walled city. The staff was really helpful. They helped us book a tour to Isla Bella and suggested great restaurants that were near de hotel
Since it is in the very center of the city, there was some noise coming from the street below, but we didnt mind

Great location. Nice pool.
Breakfast was very overdone. The shower and toilet were outside.

Amazing pool on the roof, an absolute haven away from the bustling streets of Cartagena

The rooftop pool is incredible. The bar has great margaritas. Breakfast was amazing and included a fresh juice, hot drink, fresh fruit, yogurt or cereal and your choice of eggs and toast. It was a quiet hotel with nice service. Built in 1820, the hotel was STUNNING. They gave us a junior suite which I think was an upgrade. Very cool open to the room shower and water closet. Balcony with a view of a street in el Centro, you will see horse carriages going by. The bartender had a nice recommendation for dinner at San Valentins. We liked the vibe better in Getsemani than El Centro (very pushy sellers) but this hotel made it so nice.
They stopped serving food on the rooftop at 2pm for the day, would be nice to be able to get small plates after that.

location
The house is too old. Everyday there is some house repairing. The breakfast is not good. There is not enough food. No coffee in the room. The breakfast and coffee started at 7:30. I need coffee way earlier than that. It is very noise because it is in the old town and near the street.

wonderful location, charming old building
the water was often not hot in the shower and we had a clog in the shower (thought that was remediated very quickly). I attributed this to the age of the property which lent to its charm.

pool on the roof and terrace
simple room, hard matrass, cold shower
