I have visited The King’s Head many times over the years, both alone and with family so was fully aware of what was on offer. I like the location, the comfortable beds and the peace and quiet of the accommodation and area.
I found the ensuite in my room rather cramped but have never found this an issue in other rooms in the King’s Head.

Good food and good selection of food. Nice garden and comfy room.
At least one of the bar staff could do with some training as didn't know what best bitter the pub had and didn't know where the beers were from and which ones were local
4.1
The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of alternatives to the full cooked breakfast.
Staff were very friendly, and I felt welcome in the hotel.
4.1
The free wifi required the ability to receive a text message to sign up, which for a traveller without a local cell plan made it impossible to get wifi.

This was not my first visit so I knew what to expect. As always the room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful. All in all a restful stay in a pleasant area, convenient for the theatre in Stratford.

Staff attention, cleanliness, food was great
Nothing - thankyou to the team

Great location, good value for money, nice environment, and good breakfast. A very convenient place to stay if you are wanting to visit Stratford upon Avon
There was a leaky fire alarm outside the bedroom but this was dealt with by staff the following morning.

The pub area was really nice so was the food we ate in the evening and breakfast
Heating wasn't working so had to get electric heaters in the room

Friendly staff, fairly convenient location for our purposes. Nice touch to have rooms named after characters from Shakespeare plays. Breakfast was tasty, and they catered to food allergies well.
Might have been nice to have a little more space in the room - with the sofa bed out there was barely space to walk between the two beds. Other family room looked much bigger. Room was clean apart from a sneaky cobweb hanging from the ceiling and it perhaps getting ready for a lick of paint, but nice enough place for the price.

The room was a good size and we had a good breakfast.
The room was freezing cold. When I enquired why the radiators were not working, I was told that the boiler had broken on the Friday before our stay and that they were unable to get it fixed. An extremely small portable radiator had been provided in the room but it barely gave out any heat and was not appropriate for the size of the room we had. My 76 year old mother accompanied me during the stay and she was shivering so much due to the cold. This made me very concerned about her welfare. The staff told me I could have another portable radiator in the room, but it never arrived. This made our night sleep very uncomfortable.

Good price, staff very efficient and polite, room was a little dated but good for the price
Nothing really.

The bed was comfortable
The wi fi was unavailable and that was one of main reasons I chose it
4.1
Welcome, staff, dinner
No wifi available, apparently down for 3 days so I feel I could have been informed as this was a work trip so prevented me from using my laptop

The bar / restaurant area was really lovely and the food was very good .
Breakfast was really good too .
staff friendly. Room was clean and nice and warm .
The mattress was extremely hard , very uncomfortable as were the pillows , they seemed lumpy ? 😳
we booked a family room for 2 adults but it was a small room , very noisy with keys turning , doors banging throughout the night . I managed to get to sleep around 4am .
if I had a comfortable bed and ear plugs , I would have had a different experience, but sadly not .

The hotel room looked nice, the bar and restaurant downtairs looked very nice.
The room smelt really really bad to the point I couldn't sleep and felt really ill. It was coming from the bathroom - stale water and the smell came through even when the door was closed. As a result - the room shouldn't really have been made available for guests.
