The staff at the front desk were great’ super chatty and have great recommendations!
The room was spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable!
It’s a great half way point for us - second time staying in less than a month and we’re booking another stay again soon!

Staff are friendly … location is good for work… that’s where it ends
I have stayed here over the years, when I have worked in the area, however that will be my last stay .. the place has been deteriorating every time I stop to the point where now it’s passed what it should be. You can smell the damp in the corridors and stairwells. The rooms are dirty, the window frames don’t fit correctly and the bathrooms are rusty and none of the toiletry holders actually fix to the wall anymore. The carpets are all frayed and thick black dirt in every corner of the room. The attention to detail is shocking - Infact this stay there was a Chinese take away box under the bed when I arrived. The place is not really that cheap anymore, no way is it value for money. The pub was shocking on Thursday with a quiz blasting out of all speakers and the quiz master was screaming and doing pathetic voices after all the questions…. The last straw

Proximity to friends in ORRELL
Noise from other guests at 2and 3am above me. They sounded like they had a child running around the room and also like the adults wore hobnaiked boots. If I were to stay again I would request top floor accommodation to avoid the same level of disturbance. The shower was difficult to turn on and off - very tight and liable to drip if not successfully turned off; I had to use a damp cloth to get enough grip. Both shower and taps need some attention. Additionally the shower curtain was engrained around the hem which was offputting. It needs changing and/or deep cleaning. It would be far preferable to have a screen fitted which could be cleaned daily and be more hygienic. Staff were very pleasant and helpful however.

Lovely sized room perfect for a family of four. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.
The breakfast at the pub is more expensive if you’re staying at the hotel which is strange as it’s open to the public with menus.

The staff are always friendly and helpful.
1. The room smelled really badly of mold, both of us had breathing problems as a result. These rooms should not be used for guests until the issues are addressed.
2. The cleaning staff didn't empty the bathroom bin, didn't take our used coffee cups and leave fresh ones, and knocked over literally a whole row of toiletries that were in the bathroom.
3. The pillows in the room were all flat and hard as stone. Really uncomfortable.

Good Location
No Staff on reception desk, just a phone number. After calling number staff took several minutes just to respond. Ist morning I went to restaurant for breakfast & took 5mins searching for the invisible staff who are never to be found. Eventually found one member of staff only to be told hotel did not have beans. Didn`t bother 2nd morning, 3rd morning down to restaurant to find a sign saying due to work in kitchen it would not open till 8am, all leaflets throughout hotel stated opens at 7am.... no use for people staying at hotel who need to get to work. Bathroom had sagging floorboard with dangerous nail protruding through it. Light above sink did not work... reported but not fixed !!!!!! ROOM 32

Decent, cleanish room. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Upholstered armchair had been washed and was still wet and unusable - and tatty. Hot basin tap dripping in bathroom. Toilet seat very loose - dangerous in accessible room. Carpet needs cleaning - feet became soiled after showering.

Beds nice and confey
Property is very dated now stayed here 24 years ago for my honeymoon night
When going down stairs to room carpet coming off stair risers lot of dust dirt everywere stair wells stink of damp it’s a shame premier have let it go like this I feel that if they don’t spend money it will go like Britannia places in the end
Had meal in pub meal came very quick orded two steak sizzlers one medium and one medium well done these came and when I cut in the blood poured out first time in my life I have had to complain
Reported this to waiter and she was very apologetic and offered me a free drink and took it back the meal then took about twenty mins to replace
I am not a moaner but things need addressing her it be a shame for it to loose all custom and close
I live local to mount and had loads lovely meals her before without any problems
Just this one let it down on our special night our both birthdays and anniversary’s

Good location
Went for evening meal , and although pub was quiet waited 15 mins to be served , staff member walked pst me and into back of bar area twice without any acknowledgment that I was there . I ordered my meal and a pint of guiness. After a while food arrived staff informed me condiments where round the corner . Which corner? Myself and another customer complained to staff that Guinness was not very nice and staff members reply was they are drinking it over there and haven’t complained .
All in all not a very nice experience.
I have stopped there a few times before but this has put me off booking again

Smell of damp.

Location and cuteness of the restaurant building.
Very old, not very clean, toilets with mold and a very strong smell of old floors/walls/carpets. Cleanliness was very poor. Staff at the check in counter was not available most of the times. Breakfast quality was very poor also.

The room had a funny smell, not very nice.

Our room was huge, it had all the basic amenities but that was about it
The bathing facilities were not suitable for elderly clients. My mother couldn’t manage the shower on her own and when I turned it on she said the pressure was far too strong

Not much.
Very tired and scruffy property. Rooms very basic and worn, have stayed in better premier properties. Bed hadn’t been changed when we entered our room, looked like someone had just got out of it. Told reception and bed was changed straight away. Reception smelt of stale urine. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great location for the M6. There is a pub next door. The hotel is dated but clean. Excellent value for money if you’re just looking to sleep for a night.

Very comfy bed, lovely quiet location and good facilities such as hand wash, bodywash, hairdryer and kettle with teas and coffees. Breakfast is available in the pub but we didn’t have this. Although it is next to a pub you can’t hear a thing, and we stayed on a Saturday night. The staff at the front desk are very friendly
The main light was flickering like crazy so we couldn’t put it on. However, we just used the other smaller lights in the room without an issue.

Decent bed
No, brew making facilities, noisey with kids running riot, the cost of the room for one night was a little expensive, as I found out when I checked in the breakfast was not included, even though I booked it
