The staff and the food was outstanding .
but the rooms... especially the beds and the bathroom were terrible... for 3 days I did not sleep... my husband slept on the sofa... not at all worth the money we paid.... very bad experience. Not at all what I expected for the price we paid...😪

Good service and property was very clean

Food was good and staff were courteous.
1. the rooms are badly designed with large spaces unnecessarily wasted. A good architect would have done it.
2. Also the Lunch hall is badly designed and people with joint pains really had a bad experience.
3. The front door of our room was not easy to open and we had to repeatedly put the card.
4. Car parking near our rooms to be made wider.

There was good food including breakfast and dinner and friendly, sincere staff. The location is excellent in a blissful environment with nature all around.
The bathroom and toilets were not clean and the bedsheets were not washed properly. There was peeled paint and damp walls in the room. The whole room has a bad odor including the bathroom. The toilet seat cover and the bowl were dirty. Taps and showers had low pressure and low volume water flow. The room entrance area was muddy and dirty.

The resort is well maintained. We loved the suite balcony where we spent good amount of time spotting the different birds.
Kumar took us to 2 different plantation tours, we enjoyed both especially the second one where we went deep into the coffee plantation. He was very enthusiastic throughout the tour and was very friendly. Our bathroom faucet was leaking. On informing, plumber was sent within couple of hours and it was immediately fixed. All the staffs were very friendly. Food was also good with many varieties.
Coorg is a nature place, there are lots of activities that can be done in Coorg which the resort staff are not much aware of,
like trekking, bird watching. Maybe it cannot be done in the resort but some contact reference would be useful for tourists
who are more keen on exploring uncommon places in Coorg.

What we liked about the property was the food in the restaurant. There was a good spread and food was fresh and well made. The staff in the restaurant was very helpful. A special mention about Ms. Tina, who was very courteous and helpful to us. Mr. Krishnan the manager was also very helpful, even before we reached the resort.
Even the resort property is beautiful. Good views from the balcony. we stayed in room nos 7 and 11.
1. The access road to the property - 1.5 kms was very bad, many ditches and pot holes, made worse by the rains. It was a difficult drive to the resort.
2. wifi connectivity was very poor. We had to request several times to the management to look into the wifi availability. Room no 7 - phone was not working. No intercom facility between rooms. My nephew who was working had to keep switching between rooms due to poor wifi connectivity.
3. The rooms were good size but overall we felt that the rooms can be spruced up as the woodwork looked little worn out.
4. The room keys also didnt work many times. Also since we were multiple persons staying, we had requested for 2 sets of keys, which were not provided citing a security issue. The normal procedure when we stay in a 5 star resort is they provide double keys.
5. The resort is shown as a 5 star property but can do better in terms of the maintenance of the rooms and common bathrooms. Even all the toiletries were not placed in the bathrooms. Only after we requested them, it was provided. I am not sure if this was due to the current corona situation.
6. room no 11 had a terrible smell in the bathroom. Even room cleaning was not done unless insisted upon specifically.
7. Activities are hyped up as compared to the actual availability.
unless management improves upon overall upkeep, don't see us revisiting.

Service was uniformly good. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. 10/10 on the service. The food was also decent on most occasions
Room maintenance is average to poor . The property needs to fix the rooms on priority. The approach stairs to the room etc are also pretty dirty . Even the water bodies in the reception area was dirty.
In-room tolieteries were of extremely poor quality. You just do not put a 1 Rs soap and 2 rs Shampoo sachet in a star hotel bathroom.
