The house is amazing, really good rooms, very clean and a very proactive caretaker who took care of all our needs
everything was good

Property is fine. Well maintained and clean. No staff, no cook to give you food or attend to your needs. Location far off.
No cook, did not get even single day's good single meal. It seems the owner has just bought the property to make money. No sign of hospitality. No one is there to cater to your needs. Location is very far off from main coorg ie: Madekeri

beautifully made, exceptionally designed, away from the hustle, this homestay is everything you can ask for. The host Adam was always available, the caretakers were extremely helpful. Beautiful place.

Location, room and the food.
Nothing as such

Good property with good ambience.
The host and communication. Too much silence. Food was okay but definitely not worth the price. We checked out and continue at a different property for the next day. Too overpriced for the room provided.

The property is amazing and we had a great time. The caretaker is very sweet lady and she took good care of our needs. The property is neat and clean.
We were trying to cross check something on payment related query with the host and he was unwell. While his mother spoke sweetly, he rammed at me the next morning and was extremely rude/arrogant. It made me uncomfortable. I understand not all guests are same, but in hospitality sector - word of mouth is what goes the long way and how you treat your customers is what makes a difference.

Felt surreal! Location was spot on in terms of the stay and accessibility to other parts of Coorg. The dogs were absolutely adorable. The cook Prema was extremely hospitable and cooked and served some delectable food. Everything about this place was excellent! Thanks Adam for being a friendly host! We are definitely coming back soon😊

Everything about the place was perfect. It was serene. The decor of the place was awesome. The rooms were very aesthetically maintained. One gets that old world feel. Even though we could not meet the owner Mr.Bidapa in person, we talked over phone and he ensured that we had one of the most memorable stays. The caretaker and the chef Ms. Prema welcomed us as if were family and we never felt that we were in someone else's house. The food prepared by Ms.Prema was out of the world. And she pampered us by preparing Coorg's local cuisines with lots of love. We were shocked when the final bill was presented to us. The food was so reasonably priced that we were pleasantly shocked. I dont want to stay anywhere else when I visit Coorg again. And if I dont get to stay here I am ot visiting Coorg.
We could stay at this beautiful property for only 2 days. I regret that we just made plans for a two night stay.

It's between full of nature and we liked this place very much, highly recommended.

Perfect for a secluded getaway. The place is an absolute pleasure to spend time in. The host and staff are super friendly and accomodating. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The property is in the middle of a coffee plantation which is spread across 16 acres of land thus making it an exquisite vacation spot. The rooms are beautiful and food is absolutely home cooked and delicious. Highly recommended!

large rooms, paintings, comfy beds, location, peace, cook, adam (the property owner), pet dogs, open space outside villa, retro loom of rooms
sometimes power cut can tease you but they have generator backup

I have been to Coorg many times in the past and stayed in the north, central, and south. Coorg Kolamotte didn't disappoint us and was as it was featured on the site.
The food served in the house was good and purely of home standard. The caretaker was good at preparing the food on advance notice. The property has the best antique collection and friendly pet dogs and super clean.
Thanks for the good memories, hope we meet again! oh yes, we witness coffee flowering too
I gave feedback to our host and the owner on the slight improvement needed in regards to the unusual electricity and backup problems we faced on day1.
It was honest feedback and certainly not a complaint like any other angry guests :) and thanks for understanding too, also we never experienced portion costs in a meal from different homestays we stayed so far and in Coorg, so an up-front briefing would be very helpful.
3.5
Host making sure that we are comfortable.. and spending time with us.
The spread of Food and variety - is next to nothing/ maybe because it was just 3 of us in the property. Because of that, we feel food is priced a bit more..
There were frequent power cuts on the first day/ as we understood, its one of those days which no-one can help.

We stayed at Adam's place for 2 nights, for our kids birthday.
This place has a personality of its own, the location, the estate and the antiques collection. They all make you want to breathe and take a halt. Precisely what one is supposed to do during a getaway.
The staffs (Venu and Prema) are both lovely and helpful. Prema cooks awesome pork masala, we heard from the other bookers here. The complimentary breakfast spread isn't vast but good.
We are seriously regretting having to leave in just 2 days. I am most certainly returning again.
Protip- don't miss out on stargazing late at night.
Ask Prema to fix you a cup in the morning and go deep into the estate, you will fall in love with the silence.

Everything from the property to the staff, food, cleaniness was top notch.
Going to coorg, dont think twice, this is the best choice.

The host, the cook, and the staff were very sweet and efficient. They made sure our stay was comfortable. Our meals were well cooked.

Wet just didn't like it, we loved it. Every single thing about this property was amazingly good. The location was truly on the lap of nature. Surrounded by lush greens, no roads nearby, just beauty of nature. The rooms were humongous and the entire bunglow was ours which made our trip truly awesome. My little 3 YO just loved that place, and was not ready at all to leave. The staff, there was only one staff member who was like a super girl. She kept the place clean and hygiene, and the best part she is a damn good cook. Last but not the least the owner was super cool, friendly, and a great person.
My shirt duration of the stay.... Otherwise they're is no negatives for the property

The property is located right in the middle of a coffee plantation owned by the owner. The property owner was very attentive, caring and courteous. The house is out of this world. It feels like you have travelled through time into colonial times. It was such a wonderful experience being there. Also, the cook was around and made delicious local food for us.
3.5
Lovely ancestral home located on a coffee estate. We enjoyed our walk around the property, but watch out for the leeches in the monsoon. Sitting on the porch overlooking the coffee plantation, sipping on hot filter coffee against the pouring rain along with the friendly dogs on the property definitely added to the charm. Friendly and courteous caretaker and property manager.
We were really looking forward to the local Kodagu food, more so after reading all the reviews, but we were disappointed to find out that there was no chef, and the only restaurant nearby served subpar North Indian and Chinese food. However the manager, Adam went out of his way the next day and got us some delicious Coorgi food (although pretty pricey), and the caretaker also prepared some vegetarian food. So, thank you!

The property is very well maintained and tastefully designed. Lot of greenery around. The host Adam is very very caring and helpful. Exceptional food is served cooked by these two ladies who work there. Highly recommended. The place is also bigger and better than it looks in the photos.

I liked the "staff" mainly Soumya and Soumya [chef] they are putting a lot of effort to make things work.
The staff is very helpful and try their best to help you in all possible manner.
Sweet dogs and a very well managed place.
"VERY SWEET STAFF"
The owner has good local knowledge, try and take his suggestions.
Overall it was a nice stay.
The owner was a really friendly person but I feel the way he managed things could be better. [mainly when it came to finding the place].

Pets. Interactive and nice staff.

The location, decor, behavior of the staff is superb. Very good for relaxing. The estate is huge and you can explore the nearby forests.
While booking make sure that you understand the rooms you will be getting for what price. We booked rooms of 3000 rupees, but they weren't inside the bungalow, but outside.
The food cost is also little on the expensive side. Breakfast had one option, that too was not available for a refill.
