Good breakfast. Friendly staff
Hard to park on arrival as car park full. A pity the restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday evening as we had hoped to eat there but couldn’t as our arrival was delayed.

The staff was brilliant. Despite we were a bit disappointed that there was no food or dinner supply on Sunday night, the staff did give us some recommendations of the town nearby which we found he was very helpful. And the shower was excellent! The best one I've ever found in the UK.
The room door is not thick enough, so when people talk in the corridor or close their doors would wake us up. We literally couldn't sleep well. And the fan is very dusty so we didn't dare to switch it on.

The staff was super friendly and helpful (we even got a cod for our baby even though we had forgotten to reserve it), the room was modern and well-equipped, the shower was amazing.
We had a room directly adjacent to the road, therefore it was very loud, all night long. In addition, the bed was way too hard. If you are a light sleeper I sadly cannot recommend the Buxted Inn.

Comfortable, well appointed room. Excellent shower. Good tea and coffee in room. Good Wifi, really friendly and helpful staff and owner.
The restaurant was excellent. Good food and wine, not cheap but reasonable value
Be aware that breakfast is a la carte, not fixed price. Food is excellent though.

The breakfast was great, more than enough, dinning room is comfortable and looks good 👍🏻 Bedroom was spacious enough for our needs, love the bathroom with the automatic shower, privacy is great and the lighting system is cool. Parking is good, quiet location, we will book in again when we have another break.
We had no dislikes, very happy with our stay

Beautifully decorated and recently refurbished large rooms with comfy beds, lovely bathroom with digitally controlled shower.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room good value and option for breakfast which was a wide choice of well cooked hot items so could select what wanted and still good value. Loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
Had evening meal twice and good selection of food and an excellent mobile pizza van parked outside on a Monday evening as kitchen not open that evening allowed to eat inside
As a pub didn't notice any noise.
Good location in Sussex and large car park and noticed train station nearby
All good and enjoyed it all.

The room (number 7) was clean, tidy, comfortable and value for money, we loved the MIRA shower too. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on it. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room though. This room has benefited from a recent refurbishment too.
The room was quite warm we stayed in June. There is a fan in the room, but that will keep you awake, but opted for opening a window instead. We were in room 7, the window is situated by stairs for those arriving back late, or leaving early. Smokers in other rooms also use it to stand at the top, so the smell of smoke kept wafting in. One must have been an insomniac, smoking regularly until 3.30 in the morning.

Fantastic food and excellent service
Noisy people in other rooms and thin walls, not the hotels fault just inconsiderate guests

Good was good and a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly.
When we had breakfast we were surprised that tea and coffee were extras, never had this before as these were always included in the breakfasts in other hotels we have stayed in. Just be careful when ordering to check what you are paying for

The most expensive rain shower l've ever used in the UK beautiful. Food was excellent and an interesting menu. An extensive wine list. Lovely decor and such a clean bedroom. We are definitely coming back can't recommend enough. A boutique stay in a lovely pub. 35 mins from Eastbourne and 45 mins from Beachy Head.
Nothing it was exceptional!

window view not great

24 hour card entry via all-night door was a excellent facility. Staff were very obliging.
No bath towel provided, only hand towel size ! Plug in basin not working properly.
Room too stuffy initially, so fan was absolutely necessary.
Took a while to work out how to switch lights off, and turn heating off - some instructions would be good.

Excellent limitless pub/guest house. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more.

On this occasion there was large party in the dining area below the our room. They were rather noisy, but hey it’s Christmas .
