A very comfortable quiet stay.

Breakfast was a continental breakfast with a lot of variety and was very tasty. Property was in a quiet residential area which was ideal for me. It had all facilities.

I think I may have had a single bed here.

Thoroughly enjoyable and will definitely stay again.

Catered for my gluten and dairy intolerance for the breakfast. Plenty to choose from. Friendly and welcoming.

Exceptional

Great location: quiet place, 5 min walk to the main road, 7 min to the sea. Madeline is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful. Very nice house and guest rooms. Good breakfast as well.

Nice B&B with easy access to Newhaven Ferry

A lovely B&B with a friendly host Madeline and her pet Labrador who loved the attention. A spotlessly clean and comfortable bedroom and a private bathroom adjacent my room . A full continental breakfast provided with plenty of choice and car parking on the private drive. A very pleasant experience.

it is a preferable place to stay if I travel there again.

it is more like home than a hotel. Personal touch like coffee and bottled water were generously provided in the room daily. My stay has been rewarding as the host was patient and took time to share her views about many local issues which I wanted to know.

Comfortable pleasant stay.Hostess Madeline helpful & accommodating. Clean room with all facilities.

Room very clean, comfortable and with everything one could need. Hostess Madeline friendly & very accommodating to any request. Continental breakfast was good.

Just a feedback on breakfast - Continental breakfast was good, however could be improved to excellent & would feel more generous by giving guests more choice on fruit and on certain things option to have both rather than one or other eg on fruit juices, on bread & croissant.

Clean and tidy and a great host

Continental Breakfast is more then enough, fruit, cereal, toast and fresh coffee, it's more than a croissant. As l was getting the ferry in the morning it's ideally located just a couple miles from the port.

Immaculate property with everything I needed for an overnight stay. Madeline was charming and happily advised on parking and safely stored my bicycle in her garage.

Madeline was very accommodating as we arrived late due to traffic. She is a lovely, friendly host with a lovely house. Ideal for an overnight stay in the area.

Overall absolutely fantastic.

Madeline is an excellent host: Very open and welcoming, friendly and gave great advice what there was to do and see in the area.The walks she suggested were amazing! Her dog is beautiful and very respectful so even if you are not a dog person you will be fine. Her house is very nice - so was my room. Everything is very clean and bright and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. A plus was that I also had my own bathroom and I loved the fact I had a kettle in my room. Breakfast was also very good as was the communication prior to my arrival.

The only problem: My time was limited and I had to continue my journey and leave this beautiful place.
