A beautiful experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the city, but the surroundings of the hotel are very quiet and pleasant to stay. The hotel has overflowed and is located in a building from the 13th century. It is a small hotel and very pleasant to stay.

We have no complaints about staying at the hotel. Our room was beautiful and luxurious, the hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot with accommodation, sightseeing and everything else we needed.

Exceptional

Charming heritage hotel built in the walls of Diocletian's palace in the old city. Also the former home of Marko Marulic. As cars are not allowed in the old city, a hotel employee met us in an electric cart at the parking garage to take us to the hotel. A hotel employee took us to the breakfast room which was across the square in another property owned by the same hotel. Very helpful staff and eager to please.

It is a heritage hotel and as such, no elevator. Our room was 3 flights up, but one of the hotel employees carried our luggage to the room and down to the electric cart when we left.

Superb!

Beautiful hotel , in perfect location within the Diocletian’s palace walls. The staff were very friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable , clean and full of charm. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Exceptional

We loved everything about the property including the location, room, facilities and breakfast. It was clean, updated but full of character and charm. What made the stay exceptional was the staff. They were all warm, welcoming and very helpful in terms of transportation logistics, restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. They arranged and provided for our 4:15am transportation to the airport and even packed a breakfast-to-go for us. Our stay exceeded all expectations and we would recommend to all.

Stay here!!!

This was a perfect hotel. The location was perfect—about a five minute walk from anything you’ll want to do within Split. The room itself is very beautiful with the exposed stone wall. The shower is my favorite one on this continent :). The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful; I didn’t arrive to Split until 2 am, and there was someone from the hotel who met me at the station and escorted me to the hotel! Just so above and beyond! they gave me personalized recommendations on where to go and importantly where to eat. The on-site breakfast has everything you might need. bottom line, I would stay here again and again and would recommend it to anyone. This set the standard of hotels for the rest of my trip, and nothing else has compared.

The property was very well situated within the city of Split. It was clean, beautiful, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

There was not one thing that I did not like about the property.

Superb

An excellent location. Everything you need to see in Split is contained within a quarter mile square area. The Villa Split is right in that area. The room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We should have specified a low floor. There is no lift. There were 57 steps up to our room. No problem for younger people.

Excellent location in the heart of old town. close to town square, restaurants, museums, etc. Friendly staff who helped with luggage, dinner reservations, and information. Nice breakfast included with stay at their cozy restaurant.

Elegant Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing and helpful. It located near restaurants, boardwalk and the history center. The staff recommendations about restaurants were great. Our group highly recommends this hotel.

Contemporary Historic Luxury

There are two physical locations for Villa Split. I was in one and my friends in the other. The place was historic, contemporary, charming and well appointed. Except for the rowdy crowd in the plaza on Sunday night, the location was ideal. The Hotel cannot control what happens in the plaza abd outside their walls. I was definitely stay here again and recommend Villa Split. They facilitated parking of my rental car, made excellent recommendations for dining. They packed us a "breakfast bucket" to take with us on our hike to Plitvice National Park. The staff was professional, accommodating, friendly and polite.

Perfect place to stay in Split

I never leave reviews but our stay in Villa Split was exceptional! The room was beautiful, spacious and a stunning space to stay in but what really made it were all the staff at the hotel. They were so friendly and helpful, booking our transfers, reserving restaurants and even making us a take away breakfast when we left for the early ferry! Thank you.

A secret hotel in the walls of Split, giving you everything you need for your time in Split.

I don't know what more to say about this hotel. The staff was the best out of the 4 hotels I stayed in Croatia. The staff picked me up, helped me with my bags, and even went above and beyond when I lost contact solution. The rooms are huge.and the bathrooms are perfect. The location is more than you could ask for in Split, and you need to book this hotel.

The street can be loud for just a few hours, but if you're doing Split right then you are doing to dinner later, and grabbing drinks after, so it will not bother you.
