Amazing place, very nice pool and sunbathing area, restaurant offers amazing local food with very affordable prices.
There were 12 mosquitos waiting for us in the room and bathroom when we arrived. I would kindly suggest that you equip every room with mosquito repellent plug in because this is very annoying.

Beautiful location among the olive groves.
Nice pool area.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Bar service during the Day quite rudimentary.
Would have liked more light lunch options eg panini instead of a full restaurant service.

The staff were so friendly and helpful; 10/10 for them. The setting of the property and surrounds in expansive, old olive groves is wonderful! The food at the restaurant was also lovely and so convenient given our late arrival at the property. The pool area is also fabulous. The size of the rooms were generous and clean.
The beds and pillows were very bumpy and lumpy - they require an update. The rooms are also very basic but none the less serviceable. Finally, the walls and doors are quite thin and not at all sound proof - we experienced quite a lot of noise, but I imagine that this would change a lot depending on the other people staying at the property at the same time (Aka whether they are courteous of others).

uniqueness - centuries old olive plantation.

This is probably one of the three or four "luck-out" finds in our 50+ years of travel. An extremely well renovated structure in the midst of an exceptionally large olive tree farm, and, once you get past the several kilometer narrow road leading to it, the physical structure(s) and its setting are nothing short of sensational. Room very nice, staff great, restaurant good. But, the overwhelming part of being there are surrounding alive trees. Misshapen, contorted, massive. Many date back 2,000 to 3,000 years. A real treat to walk amongst them, appreciating their raw beauty and knowing they have been there since Greek ad Roman times. And PS - the swimming pool is a stunner.
That we couldn't have stayed longer

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds with a great pool. Excellent breakfast in the courtyard garden. Very good antipasti for 2 at lunch. Really enjoyed the interesting olive tour. Close to Ostuni for sightseeing, cafes, restaurants, etc.
Dinner in the restaurant is a rather limited menu choice and on our second evening the service was very poor. We waited 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared after finishing our main course and eventually decided when no-one came near us to give up on choosing a dessert and and left!

The surroundings were beautiful. The beds were really comfortable. Staff were accommodating. We arrived very early for check in as our flight early morning. Our room was made ready as soon possible. The area is quite remote but that suited us as we were looking for a place to relax and Masseria Valente was perfect for that.
Possibly could have have tea coffee making facilities in the room

We had a great experience at Masseria Valente. It's in a beautiful location. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble .It was sparkling clean. The pool area is great for relaxing. Good place to eat if you don't want to go out
The twin beds could have been a little bigger

Very nice pool, perfectly able to accomodate all guests, the staff was very kind and satisfied our requests, the breakfast was fine and sufficiently complete, with grilled vegetables as bonus (but no eggs), scheduled from 8.00 to 10.00. The rooms have a small kitchen, but the shower is quite small. We found several mosquitos in our room, but the staff promptly provided us with a spray to fix the issue. Checkout is at 11.00 am, but you can keep using the pool after that time. We did not experience the restaurant, but our expectaction, based on rumors we heard, is that it is of a good level.

Near town, outstanding staff, exceptional breakfast.
A bit cold in the room until the heating system was turned on.

The food and staff were great
The rooms were very poorly decorated; old style, tiny tv, smallest shower ever, simple not so comfortable bed.

Calm, little oasis in the middle of olive trees or nowhere. Perfect location to relax or as a base to visit some sights near by. They even have a restaurant on site for lunch or dinner with the option to sit in the "orange garden". We loved the vibe and atmosphere there.
Unfortunately, the design of the rooms look a bit outdated and do not fit to this place. But that is bearable and subjective. Judge yourself by the images here or on booking sites!

The breakfast was very nice and we loved the swimming pool

A beautiful location in the middle of a large plantation of thousand year old olive trees. A wonderful swimming pool right in front of our bedroom. We had a wonderful relaxation on the pool side with pool beds and shades. Large parking and charming restaurant in the open on site. Staff was friendly and welcoming, also to our two terriers.
The room was a bit primitive (motel-like) but ok, nothing was missing. The TV screen was ridiculously small with bad sound quality. There is no shade in the parking.

The Masseria offers a huge space with a big pool area. A nice and tasty breakfast is included and also the restaurant offers delicious dinner in the night (try the starters: you get a nice mix of everything). The staff is very thoughtful and helping. They even called us one night when it was raining heavy and we were not back yet. Just to ask if everything is ok. The room is nice, but a little outdated.
As mentioned above, the room was a bit older standard. But still fits to the country side style.

Nothing - it was great!
