Voltaria com certeza a me hospedar lá!
1000000/10 ✨

I stayed in a single room and it was comfortable and clean. The shared bathrooms and showers were good, always clean and also they provided good pack of snack to go, for the days you need to leave early for the tours. Staff was nice, location near the main place where all the tours ended. Very good option to stay in San Pedro!
Nothing in particular

Price, information & assistance from the front desk. Andres was very attentive & the whole staff would help as best they could.
The only downside is people coming/going @ all times of day/night for excursions- & the associated doorbell/rummaging in the room. But that’s less about the hostel & more about people’s self-awareness.

Everything !
Rodrigo was probably the best host you can ask for ! Very helpful and knowledgeable ! He can recommend you exactly what is worth doing according to how much time you have and your itinerary (not to duplicate the different sightseeing) !
Plus it is clean, shower is hot, breakfast is amazing, and the beds are comfortable !
I really recommend ☺️

Nada que mereça ser pontuado

Custo-benefício bacana, hospitalidade excelente. Café da manhã no ponto para mochilao.
Atendimento Rodrigo e Hugo excepcional.

Nice and quiet, short walk out of town but very manageable. Staff were always on hand to help if you needed it and the breakfast was tasty. If you have an early morning tour the packed lunch is a nice touch
Could do with some comfier chairs in the social outside area to complement the two hammocks
4.8
Comfortable beds, hot showers, clean and adequately maintained facilities, amazing breakfast! Staff were also very friendly, patient, and helpful. The kitchen was very clean, well equipped, and a great place to cook!
4.8
Fantastic breakfast, very well equipped kitchen for cooking. friendly staff, super hot showers. Extra blankets and plenty of storage in dorms. It’s a little out of town 5-10 min walk but the town is so touristy this wasn’t a problem.
Could be some social events for those not on tours even a board games night. More hammocks and heating would be bonuses. Curtains for bunks would also be nice. Expensive but everything is in San Pedro.

I had a very nice time.
The bed and pillows are very comfortable.
There is always hot water to shower.
There is a common area to meet other travelers.

My stay at Hostal Campo Base was excellent. Rodrigo was an excellent host who did everything possible to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. From wonderful recommendations to a heightened awareness of the small things - I couldn't recommend this Hostal more.

I totally can recommend Campo Base. It has a great breakfast buffet, outstanding care of staff and clean comfortable dormitory beds, warm showers. Busstation and town is easy reachable by foot.

Incredible hostel! People, rooms and mainly the breakfast! It near from caracoles street and have 2 supermarkets near ( buy water, beer and stuff)
Nothing!
4.8
Very good breakfast, location 5 mins from the main street, rooms cleaned everyday, helpful staff who allows you to leave your stuff and chill at the hostel if you have late transportation
The top bunk beds are hard to access (very small ladder)
4.8
The personnel is always available and ready to answer to all the requests you could have

Close to the main strip and it was very clean. Staff were great. I was travelling there as a solo female and they helped me book 3 tours, including one into Bolivia. they have a kitchen to make your own food with two little stores near by to buy groceries. overall had a great stay!
4.8
Liked the location being a 10 minute walk to the Main Street.
We had a private bathroom, the shower was ok.
The owner Rodrigo was very good at communicating and very helpful with booking transfers etc.
The window pane (the glass) rattled and made noise with the wind which was very annoying.
The host at the actual Hostal was very serious and didn’t really come across as warm and friendly. We didn’t really like dealing with him as we nearly felt like we were annoying him. Just a more pleasant demeanor would be better for guests traveling from halfway across the world.
4.8
Great breakfast. Towels also for the dorms. Kitchen with loads of supplies. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was a brilliant Hostal from start to finish. Rodrigo was exceptional - once we booked he got in touch about tours and we ended up booking all our tours through him, and they were all excellent (& the same price as booking the tour directly we believe). We particularly enjoyed the Uyuni tour where we did the 3 nights/4 days - it was incredible, very well organised and the drivers were very safe. We also valued Rodrigo's advice about which other tours to do so that they wouldn't be repetitive etc. The Hostal itself had a nice vibe for us - it was social and relaxed without being noisy or too much, and there are lots of provided extras e.g. soap, free tea and coffee, breakfast, water dispenser etc. It was a 5-10 min walk from the main street but very close to the bus station, & quiet so we loved the location.

Good breakfast, nice shower and Rodrigo was super!

Thanks I had a wonderful stay

Very relaxing atmosphere with good people to chat with (including staff)
It was easy to hear almost everything that was happening outside my room but it didn’t really bother me that much
4.8
staff was amazing, breakfast was really good and the hostel is very cozy
mattress was quite old - not a great night of sleep
4.8
Amazing place, super clean, very helpful and friendly owner. The beds are incredibly comfy and the covers really keep you warm at night. Bathrooms are kept clean and beds are tidied up every day. It is kinda far, about 10min walk, from basically the only street in the town but I didn’t mind it, it was quiet and peaceful.
Wifi is pretty bad, but the case in all of San Pedro anyway.
4.8
Great place, breakfast and staff.
The Internet wasn't great. But I believe it's more of an Atacama issue.

Check in was great. The staff messaged me ahead of time to coordinate a shuttle from the airport. Breakfast is good and the snack for folks leaving before 7am is very useful! Cleanliness was great and bathrooms were freshened up multiple times a day. They also offer luggage storage for those of us who leave a few hours after checkout. Location is a bit awkward, but the walk to central areas is very quick. Overall good choice.
While the hostel worked well for me, keep in mind that walls are thin and there are lots of folks leaving early or arriving late. Noise was pretty constant. Additionally, my room door didn't align well with the frame so the hall light streamed directly into the room.
