Nice pool!
Absolutely no Wi-Fi whatsoever asides the pool & restaurant area which was very inconvenient & annoying (If you’re in the Wi-Fi area after 9pm making calls back home or checking the internet they turn all the lights off too so you’re in complete darkness)
Reception only open from 7am to 7pm!
No fresh towels daily & only a thin sheet as a duvet, majority of the tv channels were fuzzy (normally we wouldn’t watch tv at night but as we had no internet we had no choice)
The most disappointing thing was the morning of our departure we accidentally had ordered 2 tricycles to take us to the ferry but when one of the drivers got very aggressive & starting making threats to call the police & physically forced us to pay him, the hotel didn’t help at all to de escalate the problem granted the double booking wasn’t the hotels fault but you’d think they could of at least calmed the situation down as we don’t speak the language! It was an unnecessary & disappointing end to an otherwise nice trip!
The hotel is also in a non lit area so when you’re walking into the centre for dinner & drinks you need a torch as it’s pitch dark!
If you’re looking at doing any tours or transfers, they are significantly cheaper when booking with agents on the street in town rather than the hotel, we saved over 3000 peso £40 booking all the transport & trips ourselves!
We made friends with an Irish couple & a Canadian guy on the canyoneering trip & both were staying in nicer, more central hotels & a lot cheaper than £42 a night that we paid!
Also asides the turtles (which are you amazing) sardines (which we didn’t see) & canyonneering/waterfall (which was really fun) tbh Moalboal doesn’t have much to offer as you can do the whale sharks in Osbol, if you are planning on visiting Moalboal I’d suggest 2 days max unlike our 5 days!

swimming pool is really nice. The breakfast was delicious with enough choices:)
bit far from the “center “ but as a result really peaceful!

I liked the room. It was very cozy.
There wasn't much to not like. I guess the lighting in the room was pretty terrible. Would love if they invested in some lamps or perhaps even better bulbs could do it.

great location and a nice pool

great location, staff helpful, lovely gardens. nice room. provided umbrella which was a nice touch. water refill.
extreme lack of lighting in room, especially as the only window is tinted and shaded. other than needing light to do things it felt a bit depressing as it was dingy. Wi-Fi only accessible in the pool area which is common for the area but all lights were turned off at 7pm as the restaurant closed (which is also very early to close). so if you want to use the Wi-Fi you are sat in the dark.

Nice pool, filling breakfast and spacious comfortable room with king bed and split type silent aircon. I love the separate cottages with the complete mini kitchen; with refrigerator and oven toaster. Drinking water is also free at the reception.
Reception/ front desk office is open only at 7am til 7pm; there were issues found after 7pm. The room when we got back from dinner smelled of smoke... we found much later that there was a mosquito repellant "katol" with some ashes inside the room and the smell circulated with the aircon. Those and ash tray should be outside the room. It is a bit far from the main street with restaurants and night life and also very far from White beach.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The receptionists and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was big and clean and the slide was pretty cool. The location was great and it was just about a 30 second walk to the beach. The beds were big and comfortable. The kitchen came with a gas stove, toaster oven, a kettle, and silverware. The prices at the restaurant were decent and the food was great. The free breakfast was delicious.
The lighting in the rooms could have been a little bit better and the water pressure in the shower was lacking a little bit. But other than that, I had no other problems with the 2 rooms that I stayed in while staying there.

Unfortunately they conducted repairs to the pool during our stay

The hotel is spotless, the pool is nice, it's good value for money compared to other options in the area, the room is spacious and the location is great. It's only a five minute walk to the main area, it's very quiet. I did a Swedish massage at the in house spa and it was surprisingly really good. Super professional, quiet and the massage was very relaxing. The gardens and plants in the hotel are beautiful and well kept. There is an area to hang wet clothes outside the room which is great!
The hotel is dated, the fan and AC in the room are old and make lots of noise. The WIFI only works in the lobby area which is unheard of in this day and age. Made it very difficult to research, book things, etc. The check in and restaurant staff could've been nicer. The room itself is very dark and the lighting doesn't help much.

This was a very comfortable accommodation not far from the beach and village center. The pool and restaurant/bar were fine and staffed by courteous staff.
