The staff here are so professional and friendly.
They are all, without fail, so attentive and want to ensure that you have everything you need for an excellent stay
The restaurant is stunning with views over the pool and garden - the food is first class, a great menu choice and excellent wines to pair
The chef is truly skilled and has a superb team working with him. Such a dedicated team.
I can’t wait you be able to get back to this hotel for another holiday. The location is just so great with plenty to explore.
nothing to dislike
the hotel is simply brilliant

Food is fabulous. The hotel is a peaceful haven (we went at Easter). The service was very good. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. There are sculptures and other works of art throughout the hotel and gardens. We had a wonderful massage in the spa. The outdoor pool looks lovely but we didn’t swim.
Our room has a balcony overlooking the gardens which was perfect for a relaxing stay. The sun was on our balcony in the morning. Perfect start to the day. A car is useful as it’s a fair stride or bike ride to St Paul de Vence - but worth it.
The wardrobe was not very large or easy to access due to sliding doors

Excellent location. Mostly quiet.
Some rooms need clean-up. Overall great, though.

Fabulous staff throughout, from the moment we arrived and Sophie greeted us, the whole experience at every touch point was first rate. Food excellent for every meal; we all particularly LOVED the breakfast each morning.

It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and Spa but I couldn't find a shower cap. Not in the room, not in the "Spa". The towels in the room look to be quite old and used and there is no room to hang them. The hotel expects you to reuse the towels but there is not enough hooks on the room. The service is not up to a 4 star hotel. The restaurant service was not only slow but kind of caotic.
They don't care about the needs of the guests.

nice location, nice property
none of offered facilities worked, stuff were always busy but not with guests. at breakfast wasn’t offered even cutlery but they ran to ask what’s my room number.

The room was a suite and hence plenty large enough. I cannot comment on the size of standard rooms.
All rooms overlook the gardens and pool with valley views and are built angled to have sunshine all day. Good place to go to get away from it all and write that book you've always promised that you would !
Breakfast was available and basic. Very little choice, but perfectly edible. The hotel was not located as close to St Paul De Vence as expected. Walking to the town was possible and all downhil. This meant a taxi back with was excessivly expensive for a 2 minute drive up hill. . I guess the taxis are not that busy as 10 euros/minute seems a iitle high! Of course we would not have needed to go into tiwn if teh resturant could have fed us. Beware as even when it is less than 50% full of evening visitors it is declaied FULL so guests cannot use it !

Overall very nice clean hotel. Bit hard to find
We had a room with a garden but that room. Super clean and fresh but smelled l ike a moist cellar. We complained and got a room on the first floor with a balcony. Much better 😏

The main reception lady is really top: around 5PM we wanted to go to Saint Paul de Vence and she very kindly proposed to takes us in her car as she was driving that way! She lives there and know every spot in the neighborhood including the nices restaurants in Saint Paul (which she reserves for you) and the nices spots in Nice or Antibes.
The restaurant is really superb! We had the opportunity to visit some 1 and 2 star michelin restaurants recently, and we really think that this restaurant deserves to get the star they are aiming at since a couple of years!
noise isolation from other rooms is ok but could be better for a 4-star - noisy neighbors can be heard

From the booking to the checkout, the staff were accommodating, friendly and professional. Due to several factors, our reservation changed 4-5 times prior to our arrival. Each change request was answered quickly by Sophie (deserves a special shout out) and was accommodated as best as we could expect. We are so grateful for her assistance. During our stay, all the staff were courteous and you felt like they really cared about your stay. If you can stay during the rare seafood buffet/live music night, I highly recommend it. The seafood was great and the quartet has a fun, unique style that keeps everyone engaged without being intrusive. Checkout was easy and quick.
It is a small resort and it is expensive. Some might feel the building is out dated, too, but, honestly, given the staff’s attitude and the facilities, it was a minor issue and worth the stay.
