The friendly staff and cleanliness of my room and bathroom. The hotel is very handy for the centre of town, only a 10 minute walk. The towels were pretty large by hotel standards.
I was in a downstairs single room, which didn't have a window, so it just felt a little enclosed and always dark without daylight. It wasn't a huge issue for me as it was only really used for sleeping, but some may not like the lack of window or daylight.

No hot water ,4 staying and no hot water , trying to have a freezing shower and shave when we all had a family funeral to get ready for , not good

4.1
Good location, walking distance to town centre
The pillows and bedding were old and lumpy.
4.1
Great location without the noise of town centre.
Most friendly and accommodating staff.

Our room was extremely clean and spacious. The hotel is on a very quiet street, so we had a very restful night’s sleep. All the sights of Inverness were easy walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly and kind.
We were upgraded to an apartment which had a small kitchen.
The shower was a little bit leaky.

Outstanding restaurant! Food and service were excellent.
Everything as expected.

A beautiful hotel with a lot of charm and comfort. I was given a small room but was traveling alone so it was not a problem whatsoever. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything you could need. The members of staff I met were helpful and kind and engaging, and I felt extremely welcome and safe in the hotel and the surrounding area, which was quiet and residential and quaint. There was a restaurant at the base of the hotel, which seemed to hold very polite and well-mannered people because I never heard any noise or disruption coming from that area. The hotel is a short walk (though it does require ascending some staircases to the upper area of Inverness) from the railway station and city center. Overall I very much enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely stay again! Thank you!
One of the taps in the bathroom was a bit loose, but that's hardly an issue. No complaints otherwise!

Nice comfortable bed. Easy parking. Walking distance to centre. Spacious.
The shower door couldn’t close properly.

Superb staff - helpful, friendly, positive and efficient, including those who serviced our room. Great view from our room over the castle, river and town, framed by mountains behind. The castle is being renovated until 2025, but even the building work was interesting. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good with plenty of vegetarian options, including a full veggie Scottish breakfast. The tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and mints in the room were plentiful each day.
The heated towel rail was awaiting repair, but I suspect it will soon be put right.

Location was excellent and the staff was very friendly!

A great location. You can sit out front and enjoy a drink.
A little dated.

The extra large bed with duvet and pillows was very comfortable. The double bed size is excellent
The creaking sounds of the wood in the doors and there was completely blocking view from the window so we kept it close with curtains.
No lift is there so old people have to climb the stairs

It was nice inside and had a good location.
There was lots of noise during the night and morning therefore we struggled to get a good nights sleep. Our shower was cold and would only go hot for a few seconds.

Room clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for foot access to city centre.

Perfect location, close to town centre yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice big car park. Spotlessly clean. Good free WiFi. Lovely breakfast. Friendly & helpful owner.
Can’t think of anything at all.

Amazing place and value for money.

A lovely, warm Highland welcome in this family run hotel. Beautiful room with fantastic view and very comfortable bed. Clearly a lot of attention given to the choice of bedlinen, toiletries and the hospitality tray which are all the highest quality. Make sure to take advantage of the delicious homemade fare in the hotel restaurant.

Fit as expectation.

The room was upgraded to a larger one, but I'd say it looks more like an available one but not really cleaned up properly one in terms of its bathroom, even thought the small one I stayed few days ago was better.
4.1
location is good, you can walk to the shops, bars and station but it is in a nice quiet residential street. Staff were efficient and friendly. The room was clean, parking on-site was good.
It's a bit tired decor wise, quite basic and the whole place smells of fry-ups!
4.1
The man in the bar was very chatty and pleasant and the breakfast was good.
Cobwebs in bathroom, shower door didn’t close properly, when toilet was flushed it made a terrible noise, hair on bed and cover dirty. Woman on reception was not very welcoming and rather rude. We weren’t told we would be put in a house across from the hotel if I had known that I would not have booked.
