Location
The staff were all miserable.
Over priced - massively.
Breakfast was embarrassing & limited options.
The hotel is so old & squeaky, every time someone moved, all the floorboards creaked & everything was so noisy.
Wouldn’t let me check in until about 5 minutes before 1600 check in time.

This is a lovely, old hotel right on the Promenade. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking a beer and watching people walk along the seafront. All the staff was very nice and helpful. Our room had a great sea view, with two large windows. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large.
Breakfast was nice, if a bit slow some days.
There are a few restaurants a short walk from the hotel. We loved Gino's Spaghetti House right next to the hotel. We are there three nights in a row!
The hotel parking lot is at the rear of the hotel and easy to access. The gals at the front desk were very helpful about carrying our luggage up and down the stairs to the parking lot.
This is an old hotel and thus does not have A/C and the weather was hot in July. The windows would only open a few inches, for safety reasons, so we requested a fan. The fan was small so we were rather warm, but this did not detract from enjoying the stay at the hotel.

Great location on the sea front. Dated, but that didnt matter Room small, but ok for 2 nights. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 nights , which may not suit some people. Serving staff were very pleasant.
Breakfast on first day - full English was poor standard - sausage cold and had an odd taste, not well presented and toast arrived already buttered on the plate. Day 2, it wasnt busy but my order was 'lost' and 2 people who arrived a while after I did, had finished their breakfast before mine had arrived. After 25 mins, my eggs Benedict arrived and were excellent, only downside -
waitress had picked up someone else's finished plate and added to the tray delivering my breakfast.

Beautiful hotel
Only problem was a low light above the bed

Friendly, good location, secure parking.
A little faded grandeur, as is common with lots of seaside places.

The Sea View was wonderful - it felt like I could reach out and touch the ocean. Breakfast was excellent with good selection. Especially liked the full English breakfast. Lovely Sun room for tea and cakes.

i had a view of a car park so not good, i didnt have breakfast also i was happy with the room.
I was very appalled with the parking situation..
I enterd the car park just about to park my vehicle but only to get stopped by a man so that he could put his bicycles in the parking space so that I
couldnt park.
the van was called kendall car and van hire.. the registration RE21EWT.
After all it did say on your website that there was free parking avaible.

Everything, I was happy with absolutely everything.
I would have liked a little more coffee, sachets in room, but it's okay I didnt mind too much. The hot chocolate was a lovely touch.

Great view from our rooms, very friendly staff and a relaxed feel to the place. Interesting old furniture and decorative items on display on stairs and in reception rooms.
Lovely evening meal well presented and a table in the window overlooking the sea.

Great location. Sea view room is a must whatever the time of year.
A lot of furniture needs replacing. I guess maintenance and room refurbishment is a non stop, very costly business.
Restaurant not what it used to be, but adequate.

The staff at the Queens Hotel are very caring and friendly people.

Beautiful location. Convenient to Scillion Port.
Bedrooms need refurbishment, old wardrobes.
3.9
Friendly staff. Lovely room and view but it was expensive!
Service at breakfast was a bit slow but maybe they are struggling for staff?
3.9
Nice location, just near the sea. The path opposite to the hotel is excellent for a walk.
The bed sheets and duvet covers are all pilling up, and the floor creaks. I live in a room at the end of the hotel corridor. There are no curtains on the bathroom window, only a thin layer of gauze. I feel very insecure when I use the toilet and shower.
And the breakfast is boring.
