Cafè 24 hores, l’emplaçament i la relació qualitat preu. La cuina amb molt material i amb oli, sal i sucre a disposar.
El llit, matalàs i coixins una mica vells, petit i poc còmode.

My favourite hostel in Costa Rica, the staff are welcoming and helpful.
The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, surrounded by a jungle garden with monkeys passing through.
The kitchen is practical and big. There's free coffee/tea and whilst I didn't have the breakfasts they looked amazing.
Lots of nice places to sit and relax and the hostel is close to some local waterfalls which are practically a natural playground.
The rooms were comfortable, with lots of hooks/shelves for your things, I really appreciated the mosquito tent nets, much better than traditional nets.
Showers were large with lots of space to get dry and changed. Very thoughtful
The only downside is how far it is from town for a solo traveller. You can walk from where the bus drops you but I wouldn't recommend this with all your bags as it is uphill and can be muddy so if you do, wear hiking boots. It's okay without all your stuff and the right footwear.
But if it wasn't where it was it wouldn't be so peaceful and wild. Id stay for a few days and rent a scooter/car if possible :)

Schöne Lage mit Blick in den Regenwald;
Großer Gemeinschaftsbereich im Erdgeschoss sowie im Obergeschoss im Haupthaus;
Sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal bzw Volonteers;
Wirklich super sauber, von Gemeinschaftsräumen über Badezimmer;
Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche;
Mückennetze über jedem Bett;
Der Weg zur Unterkunft bzw. von dort an den Strand ist zu Fuß sehr beschwerlich, aber von vornherein klar;

Free coffee, chill vibes, lots of hammocks, games and books to borrow. Well equipped kitchen, great view. The staff could easily communicate in english.
The bed sheets were a bit stinky.

Beautiful place in the jungle. As the rooms are open you can hear the jungle in your room.
Really helpful and kind owner, who helped us with the booking of tours.
The Uvita waterfall is just in walking distance and the view from the terrace is amazing! Kitchen is big and spacious and invites for cooking!
4.4
Nice helpful staff. Great location with the Jungle nearby, houses built of tree and open air design make a natural feeling. Easy to get in contact with other travelers. Clean.
At least a small chair in the room would have been great, and I really recommend that someone build a railing at the top floor lookout before a serious accident happens. There is no reason to introduce such an unnecessary risk to be without. Although nothing has happened so far, it may still happen in the future. Someone may have drunk too much alcohol or a child may be playing, for example.

Beautiful space, lovely kitchen and dining space - viewing deck upstairs is unreal.
4.4
big treehouse feel was fun and gave great protection from sun and rain, on-site yoga, watching the storms from the safety of the patio, very large kitchen area, lots of information about activities, restaurants, etc.
The nature of the building means belongings will inevitably become damp in wet weather.
4.4
The view from the balcony is incredible! Big kitchen and comfy beds.

What an incredibly unique place. A very good value for money hostel/hotel just a short walk or taxi ride outside uvita. Lovely staff, clean facilities, terrific chillout spots, amazing terraces, a super kitchen for guests to use, and all in a very jungley location.
Nothing. It's a tremendous place. They could remind everyone of the ten pm curfew/quiet time, as some rather rude guests were a bit noisy after that.

Super hostel in the jungle. Such a nice view and the vibe is chill. Good shared space with big kitchen. Morning and evening we saw a family monkey passing. Enjoyed our stay here very much! Drive up with the car easy.
For us nothing but know that everything is open so insects can come into the room. We saw none in our room.

* clean open kitchen area with a big cooking and storage space for food
*large seating and social area with big and small tables, hammocks, sofas - you’ll feel very comfortable
*Super friendly receptionist and staff members
*Hostel is located at the edge of town and the road leading up to it is uphill and not completely paved. Uvita town spans a larger area so I recommend renting a bicycle to get around, besides it’s a great way to discover town. There is a rental place right on the main road.
*If you get your own room with private bathroom, I highly recommend number 9 (main building, second floor) - it was big and cozy with nice open bathroom, mosquito net natural soup, fan (no air con but it cools down at night).
*I genuinely liked the chilled vibe and the large seating area with a beautiful views - you could watch the Monkeys Passing by every day and the sound of birds. it was very peaceful
*The hostel is at the edge of town which I didn’t like at first but then I discovered the many health food and local Restaurants nearby (Gastro park, tribu, indomitos Café) and really appreciated staying in the area)
*Hostel is nestled in woods about ~350-400m off the road. The small ally doesn’t have street lighting so if you walk back from Town after dark, you’ll need a flashlight. I felt a bit uneasy at first but it was ok in the end.
*Compared to amenities with other hostels, private room was too pricey but you save a few $ if you book with them directly
*Not a complaint but a preference :) the toilet paper only had one layer, which means you had to end up using more.

Really jungle stay, you will be inside the jungle. Its like community, everybody can cook there etc.
The cleaness could be better in the bathroom.
4.4
This place is amazing and definitely we have to go there again. We spent here 3 nights and evenings in the open space in the forest was really nice. We saw monkeys there. Very good is shared kitchen. One of the best accomodations in CR in 2023.
4.4
The view of the jungle from the terrace was exceptional ! You can ear the sound of the jungle while reading a book. The common kitchen was great, very big, lots of stuff, several sinks to wash the dishes and several cooking stuff, lots of tables to eat. I loved that everything was built in wood.
A little bit far from the beach and restaurants, but very close to the waterfall, but it is a great stay for 1 night
4.4
Nice staff and volunteers. You feel really immersed in nature
A little bit far away from the town if you don’t have your own car
4.4
Atmospheric building like a giant tree house, mosquito net on the bed, good kitchen facilities and loads of info on the local area, helpful staff - had a problem with our door lock and they fixed it right away.
Quite far from Uvita beach (~1 hour walk) but taxis are easy enough and nice food places nearby

Staff friendly, great place to stay, super chilled, really good vibe and good location 👌 x

The communal area was nice
The room was such bad value for money. It didn't say anywhere that the ceilings and walls don't attach so the bugs from outside can get into your room while you're sleeping. You can also hear people in their rooms and vice versa, so not a whole lot of privacy. Which is more annoying when you've booked a private room. Holes in my mosquito net, broken zip on it too. Fan in the room was also terrible. Room was basic - ive paid half the price and had more comfort, privacy and air con in a 10 bed dorm down the road (tucan hostel). I wrote to complain but the hostel has never acknowledged my email or replied. I complained to booking.com and they also did nothing to help. Wouldn't recommend this hostel at all.
4.4
Beautiful tree house and amazing experience to stay there. I had a single room #0, next to the big terrace. Good wifi, nice vibe. I wish I could stay longer!
I highly reccomend this place but only the tree house, not the buildings around which are not nice inside.
There is a big problem with space in the fridge as 1fridge is very old and very smelly, so nobody will use it. Finally all the guests have to use 1! fridge.
Also some kitchen accesories like: big knives or veggie peeler need be replaced as they are not sharp anymore.
Location is nice but quite difficult at the same time, up to the hill and the road is in very bad condition.
4.4
Friendly staff
Guest house poorly built, you can hear everything happening in every room
Bed too small for a couple
4.4
The location is beautifully nestled in the forest on the mountainside with a beautiful view, it is very clean and looked after
There is nothing I didn't like!
4.4
It is beautiful, looks like a giant tree house in the middle of the forest and by the waterfall. Looks better than the pictures on booking.com
A dorm of 4 - 5 beds was a bit too cosy, the fridge was not clean.
4.4
WOW what a place! This place is like a massive treehouse for travellers!
We loved our stay - the facilities are clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and so was the kitchen.
This place is within the jungle and has quiet hours from 10pm - 7am which is great for winding down and making sure you get a good night sleep.
There is a platform which overlooks the jungle where people practice yoga, or you can just sit and read or take in the amazing views with the sound of nature around you.
The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was great.
The place is a little out the way and up a bit of a hill, but that's how they get this amazing view.
We also recommend the Beer Garden next door which do craft beer and great food.
Overall, highly recommend for that jungle experience!
There is a lack of FULL privacy as it is all open air and no full walls between rooms.
4.4
Very organised yet relax, proximity to nature and a lovely vibe.
the unsanded wood in the guest house.
4.4
A beautiful property bordering the rainforest, 5 minutes from the waterfall where you can ‘swim’, 5 minutes from a nice bar serving food, 10 to 15 minutes walking from restaurants, friendly, helpful staff.
I was surprised that I saw few birds and animals over the 3 days I was there. That doesn’t take away from the fact that it is in a beautiful location
4.4
We had a private room with a nice size outdoor space with table and hammock and surrounded by jungle and humminbirds. This made our stay perfect!! Location was close to waterfall. Not walking distance to amenities, but they advise you to prepare yourself so that was fine. ANd the kitchen was very well equipped and volunteer staff were great and helpful. Terrace overlooking the jungle and beautiful sunset was incredible!
4.4
this hostel has an amazing view and would be the main reason for rebooking for me. nice people and nice breakfast
not a lot of showers for the amount of rooms
