Location , quirky, good choice of refreshments in room, good breakfast.

I loved the whole ambiance: a beautiful restored townhouse, very tastefully decorated with attention to every detail. Clearly an excellent team working collaboratively to provide top quality service for guests. Bridport is a vibrant and very attractive historic town with all modern conveniences: a happy place!
I don't drive, and relying on public transport - ie buses - is an art in itself. The various routes are confusing. If only Dorset Council would appreciate the value of providing a frequent reliable bus service, more people would choose to travel without cars. The traffic through the town is constant. Fortunately the pavements are wide

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff.
Loved the thoughtful, considered decor and unobtrusive 'mod cons'.
Particularly loved the choice of colour in our room, number 6, restful/elegant.
The bed was super comfy.
The breakfasts were delicious.
We had the Dorset but I spied others being delivered avocado, poached eggs etc and cleaning their plates.
In my opinion, the Bridge House is
everything a small hotel should be.
Nothing we didn't like!
Just wish we could have stayed longer😕

lovely old house and great beer garden
bar service non existent, no atmosphere in hotel bar and almost discouraged to drink there

Breakfast was excellent and the room was decorated nicely. Very clean everywhere. The building was interesting and had many quirks. For a small hotel, I thought they really pulled all the stops out to help their guests to enjoy their stay
No facility for early check in

Beautiful property, clean and welcoming. Incredible breakfast and lovely front of house staff.
My room was a little cold and a cleaner walked in on me without knocking, long before checkout - sadly I was in the buff.

Great facilities at the property including cocktail bar in the cellar and lovely garden with bar/pizza oven. The owners were very accommodating and even gave us their own TV when our room TV stopped working. Lots of nice touches including fresh milk in mini fridges and honesty bar.
Struggling to find much to say that was negative - the only thing I would have liked more of was a better selection of fruit for the continental breakfast
4.5
Everything, the staff, the food was amazing and the room. All the little add ons, everything thought through so well.
We would recommend The Bridge to everyone, no stone unturned. EXCELLENT.

Superb breakfasts, including slightly unusual items like bubble and squeak. The full Dorset breakfast was really good.
There were thoughtful touches, like fresh milk in a mini fridge on the landing so you didn't have to use the UHT stuff if you didn't want to. And the hotel provided me with a tube of toothpaste when I realised I'd forgotten to pack my own.
I couldn't get my television to work, nor could the (very helpful) member of staff who came up to help. But it wasn't a major issue for me.

Very nice and clean, helpful and polite staff.
Breakfast was very good, definitely exceeded my expectations. Room also had a nice coffee machine
Bit noisy from cars passing at night and creaking floorboards when people walk up and down the stairs

As soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. warm ambience, cosy places to eat and relax. lots of thoughtful touches.

Elegant building , beautifully decorated and accessorised. Nice big room, warm bathroom, good tea and coffee making facilities, good provision of everything you could need. Lovely breakfast, attractive guest sitting room
We were freezing cold in the room and in bed at night. No staff to discuss with. No apparent host or hostess to welcome us or to ask if everything ok, no one to ask for an extra heater or an extra blanket. No one to say goodbye. Felt weird, such a lovely place, and so well provisioned for guests, nice enough waitress, but no host or manager or staff in that role.

Everyone was helpful, friendly and kind.

This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The decor and furniture is interesting and lives up to being boutique. There is an excellent garden, with outside bar, that catches the sun and is lovely to have drinks in, in the late afternoon/evening. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff are first class. Would definitely return.

The people are just so kind and friendly. The place is beautifully decorated and it feel’s authentic mirroring the owners and their team. Thought had gone into the deco and you do get a sense of the building is revealing its past grandeur. The breakfast was amazing and as I am both gluten and dairy intolerant the team were understanding and i had a number of options to select from. Breakfast AMAZING.
We loved the place
