Lovely weekend at Tiger inn.

Location was great, staff very friendly, nice lively bar downstairs. Very good breakfast, great start to the day.

No parking, although a very reasonably priced public long stay car park 200yds away. It was a shame that they didn't do food as we needed a meal when we arrived, plenty of places to eat very nearby.

I would stay again, now I know where the car park is, I don’t have to worry about asking your staff.

My only complaint would be the phone conversation I had with a lady the day before I travelled, (Friday 8th of Sep 12:47), I was enquiring about parking, and she came across very abrupt stating “there is no parking, the website states this, is that all”, and she went to hang up. I said hang on a minute, can you at least tell me we’re the closest place is for me to park, and she answered” I wouldn’t know I don’t drive, then she said ok is that it”, shocked I said no it’s not, can you at least give me an idea of some parking, then she replied” well there is the east street car park down the road”. She obviously didn’t care less about your client and how they were going to find parking to stay at your inn, and again she said “is that it”, I said well I suppose it is, and she hung up. She may well of been busy at the bar, but her telephone skills certainly need some attention, she spoke with a bit of a foreign accent, I don’t like complaining about this as most foreign people can’t do enough to help you and have a very polite phone manner, I should know my partner is from another country. Maybe she needs some training on how to hold a polite telephone conversation and be helpful not abrupt to your clients.

We used as an overnight stay, whilst visiting a sick friend in Bridport an e route to a funeral in Sidmouth .

Great breakfast, comfy bed but small bedroom for the price.

Excellent choice of breakfast which was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable with a clean bathroom.

The room for the price was very small. One pack of 2 biscuits between two for 2 nights is a bit mean. I felt the price did not suit the bedroom size. I also broke a toe on the divan base which was two bases out of alignment.

I was only there for 2 nights and so it was perfectly adequate .

lovely breakfast

very difficult locks and keys. my room overlooked the outside courtyard which was very noisy, and so I couldn't get to sleep until everyone was asked to leave at 11pm. I didn't receive a particuarly warm welcome when checking in.

Great stay and location for Bridport and West Bay, superb old inn!

I enjoyed my one night stay here in Bridport. Perfect location for everything, great cafes and restaurants nearby, superbly fitted out and very swish room! The breakfast was fantastic and filled me up for my day of walking and sightseeing the Jurassic Coast at West Bay and beyond. Very friendly staff, let me leave my case at the hotel early in the morning, then check in properly later in the day. Great stay.

Cosy pub, with nice (updated) vibe and great breakfast

Very friendly traditional pub, just off the main street. Rooms have been given a (budget) boutique vibe. Good bathroom. Excellent cooked breakfast.

Parking (none!) is a bit of an issue, as is street noise at night. (We had the room at the front, admittedly. Never really understood why people need to shout in the middle of the night!)

Good basic standard comfortable B&B accomodation in nice pub

Friendly staff and welcome and a lovely busy drinkers' pub. Very good breakfast with choices. Convenient public paid parking very close. Chatter from downstairs at the bar ends at chucking out time, very quiet location after that (11).

Decor level fairly basic; photos are a bit complementary really; tiny washbasin in shower room. Toilet door lock needed repair but the temporary high-level bolt was just serviceable. Clean but not 100% (finicky I know but inside radiators, and one or two high-level cobwebs, paint/woodwork is bumped and scratched in various places). But it was comfortable and a nice stay in a room above a pub! Would stay again if in Bridport area.

The staff at the Tiger are very friendly and welcoming the room was clean and warm The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice

We liked everything about the property one slight downside is having to park away from the pub.However there is a good long stay car park close by where you can cover the whole stay easily using the app

Booking.com booked me at the Tiger Inn Bridport instead of the Tiger Inn Eastbourne. Upon realising this I requested a refund. The hotelier said 'we cannot comply' with this request. So I asked for a partial refund, say 50%. Didn't hear back. Some days later I emailed, didn't hear back. So Tiger Inn Bridport have pocked my £99. I looked up Tripadvisor and noted that the reviews under 'Terrible' all referred to the Landlord: cantankerous, grumpy, rude. Avoid this place like the plague.

Great experience. Just felt right when we arrived and so it proved.

Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast menu with lots of different choices and excellent quality ingredients. It was a great start to the day. We had booked breakfast for 0900hrs having selected our choice from the menu the night before . Worked perfectly.

Quite Frankly there is nothing not to like. It’s a well run establishment, we will be going again and will recommend it to our friends.
