Beautiful location, comfy bed, beautiful furniture, lovely owners
A few spider webs that could have been cleaned but otherwise great

Great cottage in historic farmhouse. Lovely welcome from the host. Great views and plenty of outside useable space. So quiet and peaceful
I only booked for a night, should have been a week reading books and enjoying the views.

it was a lovely peaceful location. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable
The property was fantastic. Only minor quibble is no breakfast option but that aside it was all amazing
4.5
Rooms that were equiped with all the you could wish for as an overnight stay. Fresh milk, plentiful of teabags, room ready even though wev arrived early.
Pillows could be plumper, we stayed in Hunters lodge, ceiling over the copper bath needs touching up .

Good accommodation and reasonable bas efor our weekend stay given we were travelling around. Lovely lady who runs it and good parking.

We liked the privacy, the comfort, the cleanliness and the peacefulness. The room was well equipped and all we could have needed had been provided.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like and loads that we did.

Staff were lovely and helpful and the little additions like milk in the fridge were appreciated. Rooms were clean and staff went out of their way to accommodate our late arrival.
Pillows were very hard and one of the lodges had cold water when hot water was used by lodge above. Discovered we needed to time our bathing amongst ourselves to ensure we all had hot water which I wouldn’t expect. We could time this as we were a family but unrelated people would find the hot water situation difficult.

Helpful, efficient, pleasant room, exactly up to the reviews I had read
The wifi, but a leaflet in the room points out that, because of the location and the type of property, the wifi signal will be uneven - which it is

Loved you had a little cottage room all to yourself, with bed, sofa TV, all in one very large room. With a separate kitchen and bathroom. Stayed in Keepers Lodge, loved everything about it and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Would stay again.
Nothing!

The room was opulent, spacious and full of light. The courtyard is beautiful and it's so peaceful listening to the birds in the morning. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Each lodge has its own dedicated outdoor seating area to soak up the southern sunshine.
Our room didn't have a kitchen so there's no toaster for breakfast but there's a handy mini fridge with OJ and milk.

Room decor, peaceful setting
No hair dryer point near the mirror, no meet or greet on arrival. No response from the host when asked about local taxis despite leaving messages on 2 different numbers. Unless in a vehicle had to climb over the gate to open it. There may have been a simple solution but did not have opportunity as we didnt meet the host at all. We were 'told off' for parking in a caravan spot but there was no signage or Indication apart from the car park sign. No milk or creamer left with the fridge. Kettle needed descaling. No breakfast facility or indeed anywhere to eat a takeaway. Less cushions and more basic facilities. Shame as it could be lovely with more thought and consideration

Kitchen lovely, shower beautiful and hot, very clean.
The bed was sorry just terrible, every time we moved it creaked. Such a lovely farm, beautiful location, need to sort out the bed, perhaps a thicker board at the bottom would help.

There were spiders in the room!

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Stunning farm and our "Country Cottage" was most tastefully decorated and furnished in keeping with the build. Enjoyed sitting outstide, drinking tea whilst taking in our surroundings. Loved having separate shower cubicle as well as the bath. Location was perfect for us.
Upstairs was extremely hot which made sleeping a little difficult but this was down to the exceptionally unusual temperatures - 30 plus degrees. However a fan in the bedroom was provided which we really appreciated and helped, together with all the windows open.

The room was large, lovely facilities and useful kitchen area. The grounds were immaculate, such good value for money.
