Nada

We stayed 1 night and it was fine. The beds were clean :)

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Filtered water for 25 cent for half a gallon. The table tennis and social area was great.
Our first room was awful there were lots of holes in the walls and the shutters were completely missing in parts. We asked to move and the second room was much better but still not great at all. The shared shower wasn’t very private and was pretty grim. You practically had to lift the door to get out the shower.

Lovely friendly staff, real family vibe. Very good value for money, East access to smaller islands if you want. Great kitchen and plenty of space for everyone.

Excellent place to stay and improve your Spanish.
Comfortable accommodation, and it is quiet, unlike other areas of Bocas.
Great vibes, friendly staff.
Delicious breakfast with local fruit.
Great communal areas.
The island had a water shortage problem when I stayed in June 2023. This was dealt with in a practical way, it helped to conserve water and it didn't affect me.

- Location is in a safe area, with a few supermarkets within walking range.
- Kitchen was reasonably equiped.
- 3 bedroom dorm is spacious with lots of shelving, small lockers for valuables and two fans.
- Chill out area with table tennis, lounges and hammocks, great for socialising.
- Lack of information when the water ran out. No one could tell us when the issue is going to be resolved, even after two days.
- No back up options to flush toilets when water was out, which left the toilets almost un-usable. Plus no shower.
- Only staff on site were volunteers who were fairly new and didn't seem to know what to do when things went wrong.
- Included breakfast was very small, just one pancake with a little bit of fruit.

the common area is clean, internet is decent, location is good. staff are helpful as well.
the room is extremely hot without enough fan, and unfortunately my food was stolen in this hostel.

Staff very nice, beautiful garden

I absolutely loved it! The kitchen system and equipment was great, there was a wide range of tour and activity offers, it was clean and the staff was really nice! I would've liked to stay longer if it wasn't booked out :)
the common areas could be a little more comfortable/inviting

Great location, good tour operated from the hostel, nice social spaces and great kitchen!
No shower upstairs and only a few bathrooms. Got pretty hot at night and only a small fan.

Small family owned clean, pancake breakfast great conversations

Nice staff, nice facilities. Good but simple breakfast (pancake, banana and pineapple). The ambiance is very good
Cold water only in the shower. As it is also a spanish school, depending on the room you're obliged to wake up at 8am because of the classes happening next door (and the hot weather does not allow closed windows). The bathrooms are bad. The wifi is not very good

Everything was OK. The place to be.

Super relaxed atmosphere. Quiet hostel, far away from the party scene but also only few minutes walking distance away. Friendly staff and well equipped kitchen. Spontaneous booking was possible, they were very helpful. And they offer good prices for tours. Would come again!

Large common area and kitchen, good for meeting other travelers. They made amazing pancakes for breakfast.

Staff/people seemed nice, kitchen was good
Many things are broken (tiles on the floor and in the bathrooms, chairs, faucets, etc.)
Yellow spots all over the ceramics in the bathrooms
No hot water, bathrooms not clean
Paying with credit card is ~10% extra

I supposed to be in a dorm but i found to be alone bcs it was a private room, I could not be more happy, the place is huge, it does have a huge garden and pancakes for breakfast, the staffs were really really good, totally recommended!
Bathroom a bit old

Great kitchen and always super clean. Hostel with big chill area which is rare in bocas town. Quiet place. Value for money.

I liked the location and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

First of all Bocas tel torro is not easy to discover without tours. Please be aware of it! Hostel has the one of the biggest dorm for Panama. Only 4 beds for such a big room. It is super clean area and really very big common area. Since it is a small island centre area everything is nearby to you. Last thing is that I have been around 200 hostels and they have one of the best kitchen area ever.
It was bad weather during my stay I could not enjoy area. This hostel does not have so many backpackers that was another problem for me.

The location is near everything, near ferry airport shops etc. There is a laid back feel. The hostal is on big property. Adrien was available and friendly..
Only one toilet with no shower on the 1st floor where dormitories are to be shared with all rooms. Always busy even at nights, and with only 2 toilet rolls that are finished before end of day. Other sanitaries are on the ground floor which is a nuisance to go to shower or use other toilets when the room is on 1st floor.
The floor is creaky and shakes the bunk beds when walking. Shower does not have anywhere to put our stuff while showering (I had to put in a shopping bag to hand it on the door not to have them on the floor).
Lockers in the rooms can not be locked, no air conditioning, gets very stuffy. Only portable fans that isn't very efficient.
If there are Spanish lessons taking place, they occupy all leisure/relax areas (there is no classroom), so for the people just using as a hostal, it is difficult to find a private seating.

Felix is the best, great pancake breakfast and coffee every morning, plus bbq on Saturdays

the rooms were clean, the shared kitchen was massive, good area in town.
there was not many showers or toilets for the amount of people staying

Staff were helpful. Great old-time building with lots of character. Everything worked.
It was ok but needs an upgrade.

The hostel is amazing. The staff is incredible, especially thanks to Felix who was always very attent to the guest needs and very polite and helpful. The hostel is clean and the kitchen facilities are absolutely complete with good food storage containers and large fridge to store personal food. Definitely the place I will always recommend to whoever is going to Bocas town.

relatably quiet and nice atmosphere
They try to charge you more than your booking price. Be aware of it. it cost more then the reservation. don't be fooled.

Hostel had a great vibe; enough bathrooms and showers (I believe I also had good timing 😅); staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a good tour; gate closed at night and only people in the hostel have access
The bed in my room was definitely worn in; rooms can get stuffy but the small ventilator in the room did help

Great location, at the bottom of town but close to the docks, bars, shops and cafes.
Friendly staff, well equipped, big kitchen for preparing meals.
Nice light clean room with comfortable beds and lots of shelving.
There is only two showers and I feel another 2 would be more suitable, however it was quite quiet when I was there so it wasn’t an issue.
A mirror in the room would be very handy!
