Property has an old-time charm in a quiet town about 30 minute walk, 10 minute drive from Haro. Facilities were clean, water was hot, and rooms were quiet
Staff was generally only available by phone and not in person. Access to minimal supplies (plates, wine glass, etc) would have been very appreciated as the small town generally has limited access to restaurants after 5pm or on the weekends.

This is a very cute old hotel in a tiny hamlet. Very quiet and serene. We were there in a low season, so we were the only people we saw at the hotel. There are a couple of small restaurants/bars in the town, and if you are flexible with when and what you want to eat, you can find something there. Otherwise, Hara is a very short drive away, or a really nice 1 1/2 mile walk away on a beautiful trail along the river. We walked to Haro one day for wine tasting, drove another evening for dinner.
We arranged for breakfast the evening before. The table was beautifully set when we went down to breakfast. Food was simple but very good, with fresh fruit and pastries. Great coffee, fresh orange juice, and hot chocolate for my son.

Breakfast was really good and the breakfast room was amazing. Rooms were different and they are nicely decorated. Morning service was really good. The area is nice and we slept very well. Room was also very clean and really quiet. lot of things to see in this small village and at the area around.
The information at the arrival was bit too quick and you need to be ready to carry luggage a bit.

The room was super nice and cool in the heat - the decor and style of the historic house was very enjoyable.
The mattress was incredibly hard and the host was not very accommodating to late arrival - even though the checkin states until 10pm, she did not want to wait for us!

Beautiful room
Unfriendly staff (cleaning lady was very rude). Unclear about breakfast being served in the restaurant (excluded from price). No good value for money at all. We were very unhappy about the shower, which was cold. We had to run the water for 10 minutes to be able to have a little bit of warm water, which never became hot. We don’t think this is acceptable in terms of good value for money. Staff didn’t make much of an effort to communicate clearly with us, given that they are located in such a touristic area, you would expect they would be more prepared for international travelers.

Huge breakfast, fantastic location and very friendly staff. The village is perfect location to explore Rioja and walk into Haro to do some tastings.
The TV didn't work, but we didnt need it to!
