Sehr ruhige, erholsame Unterkunft. Etwas abseits gelegen. Aber gute Anbindung mit Bus und günstigen Tuk Tuks. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und direkt verlängert. Die schönste und komfortabelste Unterkunft während meines Urlaubs. Komme gerne zurück. Für Hikkaduwa kommt nur dieser Platz für mich in Frage.

Calm stay and friendly hosts.

Calm place to stay with very spacious rooms. Pool is in very good condition and the lounge area invites to just chill there all day. Friendly host!

Keep in mind that it's a bit off the main road, so the nearest shop is a 10 min walk and the beach is around 15 mins, but the good room and nice pool area make up for it :)

Unterkunft made in Switzerland :)

Sehr schöne Anlage, sehr grosszügige Zimmer, alles sauber, bequeme Gartensitzmöbel made in Switzerland :). Der Gastgeber ist ein Schweizer und er und seine Crew kümmern sich liebevoll um alles und sind dabei unkompliziert.

Should you be looking for a quiet place away from the hustle of the township,this will suit.

We liked the location and the house had all the necessary equipment for self catering. The host, Oliver and his family were friendly and informative. we loved the quiet bushland setting and its situated within walking distance to the beach. A comfortable place that makes a good base for further exploration trips in southern Sri Lanka.

We had a small issue with a contaminated mosquito net but our host solved problem post haste.

Quiet, very relaxed place, private. Big size garden. Very good quality area around the pool. Host is the best I ever met, very friendly and fixes issues if any. Host (Oliver) lives in this place and looks after it daily as his own (which it is), offered fruits from his garden.

wifi coverage is inconsistent (still works, just some spots are better than the others).

Exceptional

The room is clean, stylish and well appointed. The bathroom is very large and comfortable, also the bed is large and comfortable. There is air conditioner, a table and chairs for work. Since we came to work, the workplace was important for us. Cool and big pool with cool palm trees and views. We also ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was very tasty and on time. The area is clean and was cleaning every day. Oliver is very open, polite, cheerful. We really enjoyed it, we already miss it. Therefore, the next time we are here, we will definitely check in again and we also recommend it to you.

Lovely place with a lot of space! The owner is very friendly and his car is very cool (not that that is relevant btw😂😂😂)

One small suggestion: the smell in the room is maybe a bit funny because of the kind of cleaning stuff that is used?

Excellent value for money, away from Hikkaduwa noise, but you need bike or tuk-tuker to get to the place.

Oliver’s place is perfect, away from the parties, road and train. Excellent rest at night. Good breakfast at any time of the day. Pool. You feel like you are at your own summer house in the jungles. Oliver himself is a great host.

on Booking.com in the description of room the was the mentioning of the ‘private pool’ assigned to this house but the pool is for everyone’s use. we never had anyone using the pool at the same time with us, so it was private.

we had a realy nice stay overall

the comfort of the porch (because it was raining a lot during our visit). Also the swimmingpool was relaxing overall it was a nice stay. If you like there is also a tuctuc driver who knows the owner of the place (oliver) and he can drive you everywhere for a fair price.

there were cockroaches. First time that we saw them in sri lanka at our place (last stay) but also the first stay with a kitchen. the space was smaller than the pictures, it were all small rooms, so no big nice living room with kitchen on the side. For a long stay we prefer a more cosy living.

The property is big and has a big fence around. The pool looked nice, i havent been in though. The host is friendly and lives there with his family.

Sometimes the dog was running around free and even entered our room. We were scared. Maybe it would help to introduce the new guests to the dog so we know each other and know that we are friends. The property is far away from the citycentre. We always needed a tuktuk. Pickme most of the time didnt work. So If you dont have a scooter to go yourself you need to go to the road and catch a tuktuk that is passing by.
