Friendly pub/hotel, a bit rough in places but would stay there again

not what i expected from reviews but we were not in the main pub

location good room large bathroom disabled friendly and large,nice carpet and a few nice styles of furniture

mattress terrible wire edge and spring digging into you,shower takes minutes to warm up and 2 days out of 4 made a lound banging noise air going through the pipes.bathroom window no cover just frosted glass so anybody outside could see your shape,claimed toiliteries included both holders empty.said daily housekeeping never saw anybody for 4 days.room smelt of damp on entering fabreze and radiator sorted that.big crack over bathroom window bottom panel of front door half hanging off ,tv only some of the channels worked gave up on the wifi after 2 days we were in a side street next to the pub position of the bed poor couple of inches one side from the wall,tv on the bed wall strain your neck to watch

I would be very happy to stay again, but would ask for an extra blanket before bedtime.

The staff were very friendly. Fifteen is a lovely pub serving real ale and if I had stayed for longer I would have had a few more drinks there. The street was quiet at night and I was not disturbed by noises from the hotel or pub.

If the table lamp were fitted with a longer cord it could have reached the bedside table. This would have been much more convenient for the guest. I stayed during a cold snap and a cosy blanket left in the wardrobe would have been appreciated.

Pleasant 1 night stay

Very friendly staff, excellent location (not in a noisy area) perfect for a night stay. I also liked the warm pork scratchings and Worthington's. Would definitely stay again if I return to Wigan.

Headboard at the end of the bed was loose and carpet a little damp. WiFi didn't work in the bedroom.

I got to the hotel in the night and could not gain entry so I had to make alternative arrangements.

Superb

Great location, 10 minutes walk to town centre. Clean and tidy, plenty of tea/coffee in room. Great sports bar on front of property, reasonably priced beer.

Amazing room very quirky staff when we arrived was fab evening staff not so friendly Room was brill shower took time to heat up Excellent location and welcoming 😀😀😀would defo use again

Nice & cheap. Would probably stay again but take into consideration a couple of factors

Girls behind the bar on New Year’s Eve were really helpful and walked us to both rooms I booked. Friendly, and had a sense of humour! Cheap to say it was New Year’s Eve also!

Booked two rooms together, one was booked as a twin which was correct, the other was booked as a double but ended up in a twin so ended up pushing the beds together! Emailed in advance to explain w It was my birthday weekend and asked for a later checkout with it being my birthday and got confirmation this would be okay with no extra charge (only wanted 1 1/2 hours), and a free drink out the house just for me for my birthday. Arrived, no drink even though tried to prove vial email (not too fussed), rooms couldn’t be any further apart if they tried, one In main building and one in the annex at the back. Got woken up by housekeeping to say this wasn’t possible and needed to vacate as soon as possible with bear minimum sleep! Never felt so bad and pressured to drive after a night out before.

The staff never let me in the property so I had to sleep in my car, called several times and no answer, knocked on the door and no answer. Never got my money back and now they are ignoring my messages. So I do not recommend this place

excellent value stay - would definitely recommend/stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and shower gels supplied. The bed was firm and comfortable and the bedlinen had the crisp fresh feel of good quality bedlinen. The shower was excellent with a powerful spray and a good temperature. There were enough sockets, including one close to the bed. The TV worked easily with a wide variety of channels. The member of staff who showed me my room was pleasant. There is free overnight parking right outside (but not during the day) It is handy for the centre of Wigan.

The entrance area/ staircase to the rooms creates a poor impression which I was relieved was not borne out when I reached my room.

Nice cosy room, good value, would stay again if in area

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very pretty room and good size. Had everything I needed for a very reasonable price. Room away from noise of main pub was appreciated. Very clean.

Shower gel dispenser was empty but didn't really matter as I had my own. Couldn't tell if small towel was a hand towel or a bath mat - used it as a bath mat for getting out of shower so would have been nice to have a hand towel too. Very minor and didn't impact my stay overall

I always want a good shower pressure & temperature wise this was as good as any of the hotels I have stayed in .

i got back from the hospital at 10.05pm the girl behind the bar said sorry I called last orders at 10 but people was still drinking in the pub at 11pm very rude
