The room was lovely and clean. So close to the train station which made it very easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable. Everything was in walking distance and we could access the room easily when the pub was closed.
The shower took a while to warm up. With the hotel being so close to the railway line you can hear the trains throughout the night so not ideal for a light sleeper.

The bar staff were friendly
The fact we were unable to access the property with the PIN code after 11pm and unable to contact the owner, we were left on the street on the rain. Upon speaking to the owner the following morning and informing her of the situation, had the audacity to start arguing with me. However later that day I received a text from the owner to say there been a power cut, which I find hard to believe as the PIN code pad was beeping, when the code was put in. To say we were treated disgracefully, without a second thought for our welfare is an understatement, along with the appalling way the owner conducted herself.

For a 5 star hotel, I thought the rooms were very basic and small, the bed was uncomfortable. Also thought it was very strange that you had to leave via a fire exit in the morning. Was almost like a ghost hotel. Only saw the staff in the evening while the bar was full.

Perfectly located for the train station. The hotel has a fantastic vibe and the staff were brilliant. Absolutely loved it.
Nothing.

Very convenient as right opposite the station.
No breakfast was available so quite expensive for the price. No lift and I had to use the fire exit. No facility for luggage storage.

Good location and very friendly staff. Very clean and some good ales on offer in the bar.
The don’t serve breakfast. Just offer a bag containing cereal etc.

The staff were friendly and the room was great. The location was perfect and I’d definitely stay again.
Shame there was no proper breakfast. Especially for the price. These was a little noise/rumble from trains going past but nothing too bad. The occasional slamming door too.

The staff were excellent and the position in the town was good.
The room was small but very comfortable, clean and well equipped.
Whilst the position of the hotel is great it is in the town centre near to a nightclub. Also other guests returning letting doors slam was not ideal.

We were traveling to see P!nk and needed a place overnight that was relatively near to the University of Bolton stadium, quiet and clean and a reasonable price. We found it. We were running late and the team were very flexible in giving us access to our room. Thank you!
