The location is great - overlooking a beautiful square in the old part of town. The building is old but has been modernised inside and there is a lift right up to the door so you don't have to carry your luggage upstairs. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
This apartment has so much potential but there are some things that need improvement. The bed was so uncomfortable and gave me back ache. The wifi signal was very poor. There was no bathmat so the bathroom floor got soaked every time we took a shower.

The location above a small square was very cute. The appartment was very clean and every utensil was there. Close to the city center. The host was very friendly (online) and helpfull.
The are not many parking options and everything was very full. Next to that it was very warm during our stay. So we were a bit dissapointed that the airco swirched off and on every 5 min.

Located in the most delightful, central and picturesque situation in the whole village! Many restaurants within a few minutes walk. The lift was an unexpected bonus saved having to lug the the suitcases up the stairs!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable. We had nice clean bedding and towels and it was easy to get in using the code we were sent to obtain keys etc.
The position was fantastic overlooking the square 👌
The only thing I can say is that the towels have too much fabric conditioner so they don't really soak up water 🤷♀️

Wow.. The location of this apartment is just fantastic - off a square with no traffic below. Gorgeous view of the church. Lovely morning sunlight and well oriented so that we could open windows in the afternoon and not roast in the sun.

The location was perfect, in a beautiful plaza with trees and cafes, in the centre of the historic quarter. A smart lift took us to the door. The apartment was very roomy, well decorated and equipped with all requirements.
Nothing.

The location and cleanliness of the apartment were excellent.
We had no cell phone to contact owner for keys so used email. He did not respond. Handles came off the two small knives. All knives were so dull we had to buy our own to cut even the softest food. We expected at least salt, pepper and olive oil would be supplied, as elsewhere. Some owners elsewhere even had a few pieces of fruit and starter coffees for us. This place was bare bones. We found less than adequate equipment for the little cooking we did.

spacious apartment and very central within easy walking distance to sights and restaurants
front room overlooking plaza - could be lively in evening but bedroom out back was very quiet

The location is excellent. You can walk everywhere. We love the coziness of the area and the historic feel. The apartment worked well for us and we enjoyed the sun coming in through the French balcony doors in the afternoon. The beds are really comfortable.

Úbeda is small, so you can't really be badly located, but this flat is right in the middle of things, while being on a beautiful and quiet plaza - at least in winter. It might get lively in summer, and then you'll definitely hear noise, as the windows are clearly not meant to keep noise out. To be noted however that the bedroom is in the back and no noise seems to reach there. The windows look out to the plaza and a beautiful church
I had to work, and Wi-Fi worked well 95% of the time. Had just a few minutes now and then when it would suddenly be poor, but it would just come back after 5mn or so (Wi-Fi doesn't seem to reach the room in the back, if that's something that matters to you)
The flat is big and gorgeous, with all the basics to cook - don't expect to be able to cook anything fancy, but you do have sauce pans, frying pans (although clearly not new), a toaster, a coffee machine, a stove, and microwave. Only missing a kettle really, but you can just use the stove.
The check-in - I didn't receive the codes until 1h before check-in time, and was receiving no answer to my messages, which was stressful. In the end though I did get a message explaining the check-in, with the codes, and was allowed. But really, it would be nice to send them at least the evening before.
Also, not a lot of warm water - there's a bathtub, but don't expect to be able to fill it before the water becomes lukewarm, or even to take a shower for more than a few minutes. It's been the case everywhere I've been in Spain so far, so maybe it has to be with water conservation, which isn't a bad thing. Just be aware of it, and you'll be spared the disappointment if you wanted a long hot shower to warm up (yep, it gets cold in March, even there)
The one thing that's really too bad is that it's clearly not built to last. Walls need some paint work, and have some small holes here and there, furniture definitely looks like cheap stuff that won't last very long, light appliances by the bed look like they'd fall off if you knocked them, the lock in the door has issues, and you need to play a bit with the key to manage to open it etc.
However, the good far outweighs the "bad", and I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others!

The rooms were large and comfortable - and the front room window opening onto the square is lovely. We were there when the weather was cool, so I cannot comment on the A/C. The lift taking us right into the apartment was great, and the location of the apartments on the lovely square is perfect for walking around Ubeda - lots of interesting churches and a synagogue, as well as a museum. Ubeda is beautiful - high atop fields of olives, less tourists than other cities which we found very relaxing after staying in Granada and Seville. It's a short drive to other towns one might like to visit while there, including Cordoba - it was nice to return to Ubeda with less crowds. The restaurants were all really good - and the olive oils the best we've ever tasted. The people we met in Ubeda were super helpful and friendly.
We found the kitchen to be less than clean, including the pots and pans, and there was no coffee maker except a stovetop espresso pot -which can be called a coffee maker but that's a bit of a stretch. A coffee machine with a couple of pods to start would be a welcome addition. The internet was slow, and disappeared for hours - fortunately another guest had the host's phone number, and I had a Spanish speaking friend call him to reboot the modem; otherwise, we would have been without internet for a while as the host didn't answer my texts.

Everything about this apartment was perfect. The location is unbeatable, being on a small square in the heart of the old town of Úbeda. It was immaculately clean, perfectly well equipped, and everything worked well. Everything had been thought out carefully. It was very nicely decorated and had a lovely feel. The beds were super comfortable with thick, warm comfy duvets and good quality sheets. Plenty of wardrobe space, in fact, the whole apartment was very spacious. The owner/agency was very responsive when I reported the Wi-Fi out of action. It was dealt with quickly and service restored, and that was on Christmas Day. So service indeed!!
Nothing ! It was super!

I've stayed at Apartamentos Sol de Mayo twice now and I just love it. The apartments are beautiful and the location is stunning. You are in the heart of the older part of Ubeda with stunning architecture surrounding you. We are definitely coming back here.
Parking is hard to find so I suggest adding parking to your booking.

Beautiful apartment with lovely view. Very sleepy town but can imagine it would be a lovely location if anything were happening in Ubeda.
Very poor communication from and with the facility. Did not return emails prior or during our stay. Wifi did not work and was not corrected. No check in or out details provided.

Difficulty in getting into property due to poor & late communication. Thanks to a helpful Spanish couple we managed to access our flat. The two stage process to get in was hampered by poor communication if you don’t have a Spanish mobile.
Lack of cleaning cloths, very small towels, no bath mats.

The location was fantastic, we were in the middle of the historic area of the city. The apartment was very nice, large, perfect for a family of four and a small dog.
Nothing.
