The food is good, surrounded beautiful..
The road is terrible, 45 min on a bad dirty road. We had arranged transport through Carpe Dien, that was terrible very old dirty jeep,. Driver decided to bring gis girlfriend who was sitting comfortable in the front and a couple of tires.
Also they charged my credit card twice, was a huge haddle to get my money back. Staff was really unhelpful when I brought this up and insisted I paid even more as they could not find the money they hsd charged me.
Shower is only cold water.

Amazing tropical retreat in the mountains. Three different pools, extremely chill vibes and excellent food at the restaurant for good value. The perfect place to relax after being in the city. Our large private room had a huge bed as well. And the motorbike ride up to the lodge was a surprise bonus - so fun!

The place is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful
The place is very remote and therefore should host more activities and better food options

The pools are nice and the grounds are pretty. It’s close to a lot of hikes and waterfalls and it felt like an adventure to take a Mototaxi there. I loved touring the cacao farm. I also appreciated the variety of food and the friendly staff.
The wifi works well in the common areas but didn’t reach my room at all. I had a good time but it’s probably not the best place to go solo because it’s not as social.

Beautiful ecolodge in a great setting. Really relaxing around the multiple swimming pools or chilling out in the restaurant and communal area. There are plenty of excursions around the beautiful region to keep you busy for a few days.

Amazing accommodation - super clean, nicely decorated, great pools with breathtaking views, delicious food, super nice and helpful staff, nice area for hiking, great cacao farm nearby, great yoga classes, wonderful relaxing massage..
Keep in mind that you might need an additional mototaxi, if you have a big backpack.
We can recommend the accommodation to 100% and will definitely come back!

The views were incredible as were the 3 pools. We especially enjoyed the variety and choice of food options in the restaurant.
The only improvement could have been a barista style coffee machine.

This was an exceptionally calm and tranquil location with a variety of places to relax by the pools, the cabins and in the hammocks.
The menu had a wide selection of dishes to choose from and the food was always delicious.
We also appreciated the free morning yoga classes, the numerous birds and resident geckos, the nearby hiking trails and the tour of the neighboring, family owned cocoa farm.

Carpediem Ecolodge was a great experience. Tasty food, cute cabins, beautiful nature and interesting activities (walks, cocoa farm) were some of the highlights. Also the owner was very helpful.
Some of the staff seemed uninterested (apparently volunteers) and when checking in we did not get a thorrough introduction to the place (we had to ask where the other swimming pools were). Also, although the food was tasty, during our last day, one of us got a food poisoning.

Amazing views from the pools at the top. The installations look really nice. The food is simply delicious with many vegetarian options.
The dorms could be a bit cleaner. I think some of the lockers did not work properly. Get ready for a tough 25 min motorbike ride to get there :D

The location is gorgeous with a variety of pools and is immaculate. The food is also incredible, some of the best we had in Colombia!

Food is very average if not below average and pricey for what it is!

amazing place to relax in the middle of the forest. Beautiful clean pools and good food.
- the Wi-Fi didn’t really work in our hut, but we were at one of the cabins at the very end of the property
- only cold water

You stay in the middle of nature. the scienery is beautifull.
Our room had a mosquito net.
There're 3 different pools, with a great view over nature.
They said there would be airconditioning, but there wasn't. There was only a ventilator. Our room (white round cabins) was very very humid during the whole stay. Also there's no hot water in the shower.
The road from bonda to the finca is very rough. You really need a 4x4 to get there. You can do some walks in the area, but overall the place is very isolated.
We did not like the food. It was very basic without a lot of flavour.
When we checked out, the bill was not right. There was a lot of food on our bill that wasn't ours.
In overall, we think the finca needs a good leading hand, to get the value for money on point.

Cool Eco hostal in Paso del Mango, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. The three pools were perfect to cool off in and the food on offer from the restaurant was great. A lovely place to escape to - plus a super sweet Dalmatian to keep you company on walks.

Beautiful location with great hikes and local farms to explore. the staff were really helpful even despite my limited Spanish. my cabaña was very romantic and cute. I also love that they grow there own food and offered great vegetarian options, which is not so easy in Colombia.
Wifi service was down so I had to walk to the nearby cafe to connect.

Pretty place, very clean pools, and an incredible view from the top pool. They're walking distance from nice hikes and waterfalls. They provide directions for all hikes and waterfalls in the area in a very helpful activity guidebook upon arrival. I highly recommend the Santa Marta hike! Keep in mind that you will need a 4X4 taxi (think Jeep) to get up here as the roads are quite rough.
We couldn't make our first night's reservation because of a landslide and they refused to refund any portion. Found that incredibly unreasonable as it was an extenuating circumstance.
Their fruit juices were the worst I've had in Central or South America. Ever. Extremely watered down. Very disappointing. Their meals weren't anything special and they don't allow you to order meals before 6pm ET, but the arepas with chicken on their afternoon snack menu were great.

beautiful little gem hidden in nature, amazing view and pools, not surrounded by too many other tourists, staff and food are excellent, many nice trips to do (definitely do the five waterfalls tour)!
the water of the shower wasn’t warm and there were worms in the shower
