Perfect location to climb Adam’s peak.

Perfect location to climb Adam’s peak. Dinner was good and packed lunch too (delivered at our bedroom door in the evening to bring to Adam’s peak hike). Friendly staff members and clean room with high water pressure in the shower.

Excellent stay, staff and location

The staff were amazing and so accommodating. We hiked Adam’s peak and were able to arrange breakfast for our hike. It was waiting outside our room for our 2am start. The food and location were great.

Lovely people offering a great stay

The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a family run business that makes you feel welcome from the get go. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains and the food is great as well. Great value for money.

The people in the room above us were busy packing and moving and you can really hear all that's happening in the room above you. That made it a bit difficult for us to sleep.

Mauvais rapport qualité/prix, inconfortable et bruyant

Pas très loin de l’entrée de Adam’s Peak. Les hôtes étaient sympathiques.

Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude. Le matelas était extrêmement inconfortable. La chambre n’était pas très propre. Pour 80$ US la nuit, le rapport qualité prix était absent. La chambre n’était pas du tout insonorisée, nous entendions nos voisins ainsi que des prières jusqu’à 12:30am, pas très pratique quand on veut une nuit de sommeil paisible avant de se lever à 1:30am pour Adam’s Peak. Nous n’avons pas mangé là, car vu la propreté de la chambre, nous n’étions pas rassurés.

Perfect stay for Adam’s peak!

The location is perfect if you intend to climb Adam’s peak. The staff was extremely helpfull and especially the young lady was always sweet and provided extremely good service towards us. Overall the perfect stay for Adam’s peak.

It was amazing. Highly recommend it :)

The room and the view where amazing. The people were really friendly and helpful. They did a lunch package for our hike to Adam’s Peak and left little motivating notes on it. They help you with everything and also organise whatever you need. Highly recommended :)

Super Unterkunft an genialer Lage

Wir haben ein upgrade für 2‘500 erhalten, und das Zimmer war super toll. Es war sehr gross und schön eingerichtet i ll Balkon. Es ist nocht weit vom Start zum Adam‘s Peak entfernt, somit perfekt.

Остановились с братом на 2 ночи. Машину припарковали у входа в отель. Номер просторный с отличным видом. В номере очень хороший wifi

Номер вроде и сделан под премиум, но стены из тонкого пластика, из-за чего можно прекрасно слышать все, что происходит вокруг отеля, включая бегающих мартышек по крыше. Фиолетовая подсветка на потолке начинает гудеть через 20-30 минут использования. Оплата только наличными, при этом сдачи у хозяина не оказалось, но он пообещал принести ее в номер в течение дня. Никто не пришел, в итоге пришлось идти самостоятельно

The best stay we could have wished for in Nallathanniya

Amazing place to stay if you are planning to clim Adam’s peak! It’s only 300 meters from the starting point. Room is very spacious and comfortable! Host is amazing and told us everything we needed to know before the clim. We arrived at 22:30 and he stayed up for us so we could check in and even cooked us some dinner. Truly an amazing stay!

Great location for climbing Adams Peak. Staff was fantastic and super friendly. Staff helped organize snacks for our very early hike. Food in restaurant was excellent (order the biryani or fried rice for dinner).

No shampoo or soap in shower. Water pressure was so so in shower. Even with this though, still had a great overall experience and value was worth it.

Excellent value for money and great hospitality right by Adam's Peak

Perfect location for climbing Adam's Peak at any time of day without being dependent on transport. Also very close to shops which sell torches, raincoats, snacks... The room was very spacious, super clean, the bed comfy, and the shower had massage functions. I didn't get to test them though since I climbed the Peak late and checked out before. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. I was the only guest for the night (rainy season, thus not really great for climbing), and they went out of their way to accommodate requests (fruit platter in the evening when I arrived, towel and room to change after climbing and getting soaked even though I had already checked out).

This is a basic guesthouse but really comfortable and clean, and the hot water worked. So really absolutely nothing to complain about. I don't give 10 points only because this is not a luxury place for several days. However, if you want to climb the Peak - this is the perfect place to stay!

the most friendly staff! special thanks to mom and daughter who run the hotel. they recommended to us the day when it is better to climb the mountain and not get into a huge queue. the restaurant has very tasty food. the room is nice and clean.

Beautiful guest house with huge amount of hospitality

Beautiful view to hills, nature and only few minutes walk to Adam’s Peak entry (you will appreciate when returning). Owner and staff made me feel so welcome and food and room was very nice.

Very chill and comfortable

We were a group of 4 so booked 3 rooms: family room, deluxe double, standard double. Family room: Features 2 double beds (one of them sightly bigger). both very comfortable with 4 pillows each. The bathroom is sri lankan style with no separation between the shower and the rest of the unit which means everything gets wet when you have a shower. It has a balcony with plastic chairs, not like in the picture though. Deluxe double: Comfortable room with nice shower. In this room you get a more European shower as it has a separation with the rest of the bathroom. The room gives a hotel vibe and a cozy feeling. Standard double with balcony: This is the most basic room, comfortable bed but not so bright or spacious. No views from the balcony. Sri Lankan bathroom.

The menu is pricey, the portions aren't big. This is the most expensive place we have stayed in, however, you can't find these quality rooms anywhere else. Still, I feel it's a little overpriced. Would give it a 10 if the prices weren't as high, both in the rooms and restaurant. In the family room the sliding door doesn't fully close (like there is a 1cm gap between doors) which makes the bed closer to the window a little colder at night. It has curtains and nice duvets though.

The proximity of the guest house to the entrance of Adams Peak is a major plus point. Staff are obliging. Love that they provide duvets, since it gets rather cold at night. Shower was nice and hot

we had a pleasant stay mostly due to the staff who were very accommodating and super nice and warm.

the convenience of location.

the rooms were are 3 different levels. the better rooms were on the 1st floor, and level -1. those on level -2 were difficult to get to as we had to climb down 2 flights of stairs & were cold.

Exceptional

The hosts were extraordinary service oriented, hospitable and helpful. They provided us with a wonderful stay! We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The room and the facilities, were the best we had during our entire stay im Sri Lanka! Also the food was prepared super fresh and was delicious! Since we stayed during Christmas time the hosts surprised us with a small Christmas gift🎄 🤗 We highly recommend daddy's guest house and would come back anytime.

Simply the best!

A convenient location near the Sri Pada mountain. Staff is really friendly and flexible. They allowed us to park on the property before our check-in time. Food quality is the best and they have a variety of menu items to choose from for your taste. Room we stayed in was spacious enough for all of us to have a good night sleep and relax, after a strenuous hike.
