absolutely terrible!! DO NOT waste your money on accommodation like this. the mats had stains on them, the dinning room seats had stains on them, the tea towel even had stains and so did the towel! DISGUSTING
couldn’t find a smoke alarm

lovely and private right close to the beach

We thought it expensive considering we had to supply our own bedding with no ablutions. The double bed was underneath a bunk bed and I couldn't sit up in bed. We have stayed in places for the same price that do have on-suite plus sink etc. We felt like we were paying for their losses due to covid.

Quiet at this time of year (March) not many other campers. Beach was nice. The cabins were clean and comfortable. Neighbours next door liked to slam their door when up at night to use facilities.
We stayed in the cabins and had to use the camp toilets that need updating and cleaning. The floor had dust and dirt and cobwebs and toilets looked dirty in the bowl.

Everything!!! cabin was fantastic. Ocean Views were brilliant. Well appointed with great wi fi & netflix app. Full kitchen, dining table & outdoor decking with seating

Great location!
It wasn’t very clean and lacked a few essentials expected more for the price of it.

The beach and the kitchen equipment
Linen missing, average toilet hygiene

Clean kitchen and cooking facilities. And the fairy trail.
Everything was adequate, thank you.

We loved the location & the beach house. It wasn't the busy season so was fantastic to enjoy the beach without lots of people but can imagine it would be great with lots of families..thank you..will tell all our friends..
Nothing.

The location is stunning.. beach front is so lovely. We could hear the lovely gentle waves as they lulled us to sleep. You cant beat the beach for a safe place for kids to swim
Booking.com didnt apply my 3 children to my booking despite me declearing them. This caused an awkwardness at check in. However this is no reflection on the property. we will return one day

Location on the beach was awesome.

No bedding, and not being able to hire any because reception closed at 5pm.
No hot shower as it needed a coin. You could have hot water to wash your face, just not the rest of you

the area and the scenery was paradise. just like what you see advertised on tv for the islands.

The location was perfect, halfway almost, between Takaka & Collingwood. The house was spotless, well appointed, private with deck overlooking the sea & beach. Lovely greeting when checking in. Despite being rural there is a lovely gift shop & bakery on the road to the camping ground.

quiet, spacious, comfortable, value for money

Everything. The sunrise on the beach. Peaceful cabin.
Being able to park right outside was a plus for me with disability.
My telly had an aerial issue and didnt work and I was planning on watching some games. I did get wifi and netfllix so I had something to watch but it wasn't the games and the apps don't screen prime. I did get a discount for the telly not working. I chose this accommodation as the telly was listed.
