The views, the Villa itself ( great beds, great showers, plenty of room ) w a pool and multi-levels to relax and enjoy the Coast & the town Pogerola were all just fantastic. Two markets, two exceptional restaurants ( a hidden gem of a restaurant is La Capannina🏅), the tea room w Benito & Maria & Gerrys Pub are literally all just a 2-4 minute walk away. You don't even need to leave the town to enjoy a wonderful day. Plus easy access to Amalfi w busses running every hr up and down the mountain for less than $3
There are alot of steps obviously, but to be expected staying on a mountainside location.
Not a detractor, just an fyi

excellent villa high above Amalfi. I stayed there with my family of 4 children and another couple. very comfortable bedrooms with excellent air conditioning. upstairs kitchen works well with 2 good bedrooms upstairs and 3 very separate bedrooms, each with ensuite, and a further kitchen downstairs. the kids loved the pool. 3 distinct outdoor areas if you want some privacy. The villa is perched high above Amalfi - it’s 1300 steps down to the town - 20 minute walk down but not suitable for young kids - too steep. the walk up is a very solid workout and only an option for the fit. there is however a very comfortable bus that leaves every hour (on the half hour) 200m from the villa and returns each hour from Amalfi. the trip takes 20 mins and is €1.40 per person. much better option than driving as parking in the summer in Amalfi (or any of the towns) is a nightmare. There is a little village 100m from the villa that has 3 or 4 very good restaurants and 2 little stores for basic groceries. imo it’s the best place to stay in Amalfi - away from the madness of Amalfi in the summer but very convenient to go there for dinner/gelato/boat trips etc. staff were excellent and very responsive. highly recommend.
not a criticism but the 2 bedrooms upstairs are very close together ie perfect for parents and their kids to stay but probably a bit tight for 2 couples. the bedrooms downstairs are the opposite - very private from each other but you access them from outside so probably not suitable for parents upstairs and young children downstairs - perfect for multiple couples or older children

A dream place, at the top of the mountains, continuation of the city of Amalfi, in Pogerola. Quiet, relaxing space, property located on 3 levels (terraces). Carefully detailed gardens, beautiful and clean interior, equipped with everything you need. The host, Pasquale, provided us with everything we asked for, a very helpping guy, he even offered to help us with the shopping. The pool was clean and functional, we didn't benefit from it because it was a bit cold.
An exceptional location !!!!
Many steps to the street, for those with mobility problems or heavy luggage.

lovely layout and location.
the pool was not set up on arrival or ready for any of our stay, the Villa needed to have things checked like the bbq did not work, the shower leaked, there was no WiFi in the ground floor rooms, the shower leaked, the plug sockets were dangerous, random men around villa and we were not told of work going on and the microwave did not work. but most of all we were so upset about the pool and we should have been advised it was closed.

Had everything we needed, clean and tidy and owner very welcoming and accommodating. I would stay again if I came to amalfi area. Also free parking which was great.
The only issue with the property for people potentially is having to get a bust to amalfi, although myself and my partner liked how it was remote from the hustle and bustle.
