Heel mooie locatie, prachtige natuur en heel rustig

Verouderde kamer Kamer vol insecten, geen muskietennet, bed viel bijna uit elkaar, Onvriendelijk personeel bij aankomst Badkamer was opgelapt Na 1 nacht terug vertrokken en geen bericht meer gehoord Heel weinig communicatie

El alojamiento es bonito.

No me gusto que la información que tienen en su anuncio de booking NO es correcta. Llegamos después de un largo viaje esperando poder bañarnos y poder descansar un poco y notificar a nuestros familiares donde estábamos, etc. y cual fue nuestra sorpresa, que no había agua ni para lavarte los dientes ni wifi, el personal se escuda que es porque estamos en temporada baja, considero que si ya saben que en esta temporada tienen carencia de luz, agua y wifi no deberían abrir el alojamiento, sobre todo porque el precio que se paga por noche es muy elevado

Heerlijk relax verblijf!

Prachtige ligging als je niet wil want in de omgeving is niet veel. Maar je komt hier voor je rust en dat krijg je!

Een koelkastje op de kamer zou fijn zijn. Er was geen warme douche maar die heb je ook niet nodig met deze temperaturen.

I'll be dreaming of Nemasu for a while and would love to make it back one day.

Nemasu was by far the best place we stayed in the Gambia. We initially only planned to stay for 2 nights and had booked another place, but when we got to the other place we changed our plans so that we could go back to Nemasu for another 2 nights. It's the perfect place to unwind, right on the beach, super green and quiet and just idyllic. The staff are super nice and the food is excellent. We also booked a bird-watching boat tour through Nemasu with Suleiman that was great. Extra bonus - their dog is the sweetest and there are some kittens running around as well!

There was no Wi-Fi for most of the time we were there, but I believe it was a problem with the provider that was eventually fixed. Nothing else to say really.

My wife, grown daughter and I enjoyed 3 nights here. We do not regret our stay.

They accepted credit card through Paypal. Most places only take cash. Breakfast was good, eggs any style, fresh bread w/ peanut butter and homemade jam, fruit and coffee. Beach was quite empty and if you're up to it, you can walk about 2 leisurely hours along the beach to the Senegal border. After crossing a river mouth (by way of going knee-deep through the surf,) you can follow a road up, turn right and find a great seafood restaurant called Dodous (sp?) You can take a taxi back if you're tired. You can also find smaller eco-lodges that offer beer and food along the beach. it's one way to spread the wealth. While the beaches are mostly empty, if you want to interact with people, they can be found and are friendly and approachable. There's a beautiful mosque close by and a fish market just beyond it along the beach, all within easy walking distance.

Just north along the beach is a Chinese canning factory. Depending on the wind direction there was occasionally the strong smell of fish. Sheets were ill fitting on the bed, but the mattress was comfortable. Depending on the time of year the water can be quite cold. Late February the water was cold and there was a cold wind, which was nice for walking during the day. Do not expect a hot shower.

Quiet place far from any big city. Some things to improve in future.

Reality on photos(attachments). They should really do something about the ceiling and the room was different that I booked. -Booking.com was blocked on wifi, I could not see my reservation or book new ones. Internet was down almost 24 hours, but they rrally tried to get it running, but be preared for that.

Beautiful location!

Beautiful ecolodge on a beautiful beach. Comfortable rooms. Can get a little hot without air con so just be aware of that. It is an idyllic beach, better than any the local ones we visited!

We paid more than we were supposed to due to paying for an extra person. We were advised that on arrival we could get that back as food vouchers but when we arrived, that never happened. Made it out to be quite an expensive stay, but we had a nice time anyway.

We have enjoyed some goodnights rest and definetely loves the area, nature and ambiance.

Continental breakfast Gambian Style was sufficient. The bed in the room was really nice to sleep on. The fact that we had our own private space to sit and relax was very nice. A nice modern toilet in the bathroom. Our room had seaview, just partially hidden behind the restaurant, so no direct seawind blowing on our terrace. The area is perfect sleeping with only the seabreeze, no noise of traffice or anything, really in a natural environment. The personal went out of their way to give us a good feeling.

Bathroom had two minuses, a very poor shower and a sink where the tap only gave very little water. The food which was cooked from the menu was not all to a normal Gambian standard and the kitchenstaffs and waiters, waitresses didn't check if everything was clean and fresh. I got a bowl with breakfast cereals and saw loads of tiny ants walking in it. Eveningdishes were not completely cooked well, potatoslices being raw.

I liked the peace and quietness of this place .

I think the quality and quantity of the included breakfast was very poor.There should have been meats and cheese to accompany the small pieces of bread .Charging extra for porridge and cereal should not have been an option .

Very good

Staff and food were great. Loved the setting, the birds and the peace. The local juices were great. Wished we'd stayed in the rooms with ensuite!

We chose the budget accommodation with shared shower and it was fine except the room had nowhere to put anything and the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. The shower block was ok..but quite a distance and no lights to get there at night.

very picturesque and close to nature. wonderful effort to make sustainable choices. the staff were absolutely incredible and made every effort to attend to your needs. loved the people there! delicious fresh food everyday and right next to the beach
