Flip House. Surface Clean but needs improvement. Sofa was dirty we found food and a vape pen under the cushions. The bathrooms needed a good bleaching. The grill and picnic table should have been cleaned.

This house is spacious and has 5 queen-size beds in four bedrooms. It's also located very close to a Walmart and downtown. But it's also an older house that has some issues. It's not as clean as we'd hoped, and none of the beds have mattress pads. It only has minimal amenities. The property manager is very responsive and quick to resolve issues. It's OK for a short-term stay.

Girls’ weekend for wine tasting! The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Everyone had their own room. The house was clean and smelled good! We loved that the beds were made and everything we needed was provided in the bathrooms and kitchen. We definitely enjoyed hanging out talking in the evenings on the comfy couch. Wonderful home in a great location!

Place was clean and spacious like described, walking distance to Watkins Glen State Park, restaurants and bars. Minor issues going on but speedy response from host. I would stay here again!

It was a great Rental for Quite Gathering with Friends and Family ..

The house was within walking distance to state park, shops and restaurants. Even though the house has been redone on the inside, there were a few issues. The water/ice maker on the fridge were not working and the front steps were slightly dangerous. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. I would say the house was "bare bones" as far as amenities go, but we only spent 2 nights so it was OK for us.

The house had everything that we needed. Location was great! Could walk to Watkins Glen State Park and to restaurants. Short drive to several wineries. We had a great time!

The place was nice for what it is. Older house that has a nice renovation. Great location, restaurants and stores only a few blocks away. Great coffee. Shop just around the corner. Friendly people and quiet neighborhood.

The house itself was really nice. Disappointed because it was not clean. You pay a lot of money to stay in these homes and you would think they would be clean. Floors were filthy and spider webs everywhere.

Overall the rental was fine. Location is awesome. Quiet neighborhood and super close to everything. The kitchen is lacking some things so if you rent, make sure to bring absolutely everything you need.
As others have indicated, seating is an issue. If you have more than 6 adults, there isn't anywhere for everyone to sit and play games or even talk. Unfortunately someone had broken 2 chairs so we didn't even have 8 chairs around the table to eat together.
Communication with rental management was quick and easy. Just have appropriate expectations, it's clearly an older home that was remodeled for a rental.
Generally clean and comfortable. Our group loved the location. The good thing is...if you need anything Walmart is next door!

There were 10 of us,and we all had a comfy stay. The house is in a great neighborhood very close to everything you need. We did a lot of hiking, biking, kayaking and restaurants. There's also a Walmart 2 min away if you need to buy foodstuffs. We didn't spend much time in the house, just the nights. And we've noticed how quiet it is at night. We didn't cook either, so hard to judge the kitchen supplies, but breakfast places are so close,we didn't even want to bother about cooking.
For those who want to visit just Watkins Glen State Park, it's 3 min away!
All in all, we loved our stay and hope to be back!

Great nature lovers getaway
Great location especially for the lake and park. The area was beautiful. The host Courtney was very nice and helpful. I would just suggest having a mop available, washer and dryer. The house had enough room for the family. There were also food and other stores close by some within walking distance.

3 day getaway!
All in all it was a great location and very convenient for what we wanted to do. The front porch could use a little TLC, but it did not have any impact on our trip.

Okay
We stayed here for race weekend and it was okay. The house is great if you are only sleeping here. 5 queen beds but not very comfortable. There was a living room with a sectional but aside from kitchen table no additional common space. There was 1 TV in the house which was tough with kids. Also the backyard is very large and flat but there was no outside seating besides an old picnic table. I feel like there were a lot of misses here. The large room upstairs was very hot even with fans. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Don’t stay here!
Upon our arrival we thought we were arriving at an abandoned property based on the condition of the yard….extremely tall grass or shall I say a lawn of weeds. Someone scalped the lawn midway during our stay leaving all dead clippings on the yard. Overgrown landscaping infringing on sidewalk. Weeds growing in cracks of sidewalk. Front porch appeared to collapse at any moment from deteriorating wood.
Interior… no central heating and cooling. You needed to set the radiator cooler to 60 degrees in order to cool all rooms thus freezing you out of the central located room. No mattress pads on beds and poor fitting sheets, and sub par bath towels.
We would never stay at this property again and would NOT recommend!

Nice home in central location
Enjoyed our stay. Easy access to wineries on both sides of the lake. Four bedrooms provided plenty of space for group of 7. Good size kitchen and family room. Kitchen could be a little better stocked with kitchen wares I.e. more pots/pans, pitchers, carving knives, etc.

Perfect Place for our hiking trip
We really enjoyed our stay at the property, there was plenty of room for our family of 8 and all the necessities we needed were there.

Weekend getaway
Showers could have been a little cleaner, but weren’t horrible (if the inside shower curtain was changed upstairs it would have been better). Easy check in process, the property manager was very responsive, close to the town (walking distance). Nice size backyard if you want to enjoy time outside.

Great place for family
This rental served as the perfect meeting spot for family in town for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Nicely remolded home, located on what would normally be a quiet residential street, if not for the road & train track construction occurring. House does not have washer or dryer. Heat provided by one unit in kitchen / dining area and on at top of steps upstairs. A light is needed inside the covered front door in order to access the key in the lockbox at night.Very convenient location to all attractions.in region.

Wine Trail Weekend
This was a perfect get away weekend spot! We came for a long weekend with friends and family. The size was great, the house was well equipped and we were within walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again!

Watkins Glen Girls Weekend
House was nice, spacious and clean. However, listing stated there would be extra blankets and pillows and we found neither. The house could also use additional kitchen supplies. Trying to make breakfast for a group of 8 was challenging with only one working frying pan. Also exterior of house looks nothing like the listing photo and should be updated. Overall though a good experience and I would rent here again if the suggested additions were made.

Convenient Watkins Glen Spot
Seemed like a newly remodeled unit so they probably need to work out some minor things. Overall, it was a decent place to stay. Few blocks from main drag. HVAC units are in the main areas so rooms have different temperature.
No washer/dryer at time of our stay.

Great location & wonderful stay
Three of us, siblings, stayed a week at this location as it was central to the counties we were visiting throughout the week, our trip was to visit cemeteries, court houses and libraries in the area. The house location was perfect, we loved having a large dining room table to work on in the evening, their was plenty of room in the house for us to spread out and the internet worked perfectly. There are plenty of restaurants, gas stations and even a Walmart near by. Even though there were dressers available - it would have been nice to be able to hang our clothes and jackets up in a closet. We received feedback that the owner is going to be sure the closets are finished very soon for the following guests. With the closets done - we would certainly return again!

Long Weekend In Watkins
We stayed over Labor Day weekend and could not have had a better spot. Minutes from Catherine Valley bike trail, Watkins Glen State Park, downtown area and easy driving to Ithaca. These were all parts of our trip and staying so centrally locates made it all possible. We also enjoyed horseback riding at Painted Bar Stables. The house was super clean, spacious, and felt very comfortable. I would recommended to anyone looking for a house option vs hotel. We didn’t really need communication with the property manager, but they were only a text away. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Plenty of room and in a great location
We had a lovely short stay in the house - had plenty of room for 6 adults, beds were really comfortable and the AC units kept the place cool, although additional fans for the bedrooms would have been appreciated.
The house is in a great location near the lake and close to shops and restaurants on the main street. The house is in really great condition, as the pictures show; although, we would have liked a few more amenities in the kitchen and bathroom (e.g.: wine bottle opener, hair dryer, additional frying pans). Overall it was a great stay - checkin and communication were all easy and convenient.
