Peaceful but central location with a very attentive host

This is a very charming, original studio apartment with a lot of personal homely touches. The opposite to an Ikea-furnished soulless rental apartment Garden facing location very close to the centre of Zagreb but in a small muse giving privacy and quiet Mr Ferk was very friendly and helpful carrying my luggage up the steep steps Very good wifi signal

Bathroom was on the small side with inadequate lighting for shaving The steps leading to the apartment are quite steep

The owners are very nice and hospitable! The apartment is in the city centre, very close to every attraction. It's very small and cozy, you have everything you might need.

The kitchen was a bit of a weird shape and small, but it is still functional.

Very well located apartment and in a quiet place. Everything was very clean and equiped with basics. The owners are very nice. They even washed our clothes for a little extra money.

Weekend getaway in Zagreb

We chose the accommodation for its central location, but it is also in the inner yard, so it's reasonably quiet. The owner, who lives downstairs, met us in person, handed the keys over and has shown us the amenities. You get everything you need and everything was working well.

The clock on the wall was a bit annoying, so we just took the battery out for our stay. You may hear noises from the street at night if you leave your window open - but you're in the city center, so that's expected. With the window closed, we didn't hear a thing.

Great little apartment in a very central location but on a quiet road. Find the “Rockstar Cafe” and go down the passage to the right hand side. Walk right to the end as far as you can go. You’ll see “apartment Ferk” labelled. Mr Ferk lives downstairs and the apartment is upstairs. You need Euros in cash to pay for the apartment which we didn’t really read - he doesn’t want Kuna and doesn’t accept cards so make sure you have cash. Lots of ATMs in the square two mins up the road and we had to find an exchange to get euros. Lovely host - brought us some fruit juice and beers. He doesn’t speak much English at all so communication can be a problem. No bath or washing machine.

The apartment was equipped with everything that's necessary for a living (kitchenware, toiletries, blow-dryer, AC, TV, Wi-Fi ) Great location, right in the center, less than 10 min walk to the main square.The apartment was clean and tidy and the owners seemed friendly.

On the arrival we were told the price higher, than we booked through the app and you can only pay cash. The pillows in the room are bad (flat, old and full of sharp feathers poking the face).Oh, and the staircase is strangely designed and not quite comfortable to use.

Awesome Place to Stay in the Heart of the Croatian Capital

Me and my wife stayed at Apartment Ferk for three nights and we fell in love with this place. The apartment is located centrally with all the main spots like Ban Jelačić Square, Tomislav square, Dolac Market, Grič Tunnel, Funicular located at a walking distance. You step out of the apartment and you are surrounded with restaurants, bars, cafes and supermarkets to choose from. There are even eat outs like pingvin for your midnight cravings. We couldnt ask for a better location to comfortably see the city of Zagreb. For people who have plans to visit plitvice lakes from Zagreb, this apartment is located just less than 500m from the tram station, from where you can take the tram to the central bus terminus directly. Regarding the apartment itself, it is beautifully decorated, vintage style and impeccably clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. We had all types of cutlery, cookery, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and tea provided in the kitchen. You could just hop to the grocery next street, buy ur stuff and cook at home. kitchen is equipped with a gas stove for cooking, microwave oven and a refrigerator. The room also had maps and tourists guides of Zagreb to ease our trip and there was also a TV. Cozy Bed, dining table and drink table with cozy chairs all in all was just amazing. wifi was superfast. The Landlord was very warm, polite and kind and welcomed us nicely with some fresh fruits and also explained every little thing about the apartment. The bathroom and toilets were very clean and well maintained with hairdryer, towels, hand wash gel and toilet paper included. The landlord even brought us extra toilet paper on request. All in all we totally enjoyed our stay in the apartment and we would highly recommend this place for all visitors to Zagreb. An awesome little gem right in the heart of Zagreb. One cautionary thing for people with knee and other mobility issues and the elderly, the steep stairs at the entrance of the apartment could be bit of pain to climb.

Cosy, central apartment

Location was excellent and the perfect base from which to explore Zagreb. Our host was very sweet and despite the language barrier (he speaks some German so we used this to communicate!) saw to all our needs.

The sofa bed was a bit short for tall people and the mosquito nets on the windows were not completely bug proof! The photos of the apartment are definitely from a few years ago and make it look fresher than it does now.

Great stay

It's right in the center. There are a lot of nice pubs and bars nearby (walking distance). Because the apartment is somewhere in the back it's also quite. Everything is in great condition and very clean. There are a lot of small details/quirks in the apartment that I really enjoyed and that you will surelly discover if you take a good look.

All was very nice. I can't complain.
