This place is a really lovely place to stay

The seating area outside is fabulous . This feels like a traditional Costa Rican house. The garden is looked after and there is AC and a ceiling fan . You look straight at the sea . You can hear the waves all night

Our only dislike was the mattress. I think this could be replaced . Rather lumpy .

Estadía perfecta entre el mar y el cielo.

Paisaje perfecto frente al mar. Es completamente céntrico y tanto playas como negocios y servicios están cerca del hotel. Las habitaciones están bien amuebladas y tiene la comodidad de aire acondicionado.

Solo hay un pequeño problema. El hotel, como se dijo antes, es muy céntrico, tanto así que a veces el ruido de los bares cercanos podría imposibilitar el dormir a ciertas horas. Sin embargo, creo que es un mal menor.

We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in room number 4. It had a wonderful cross breeze with a window looking out towards the ocean and another facing the beach so with the multiple fans the heat/humidity was manageable without A/C. Loved the live music during the day from the restaurant next door. Within meters of the beach and all the stores/restaurants in the heart of Montezuma.

Perfect view and location

Location was perfect, just in front of the beach and so close to town. We had a view of the ocean and woke up with the sound of waves. The room is very simple but has everything you need for a short stay.

Location is amazing because it's 15 seconds from the beach. A warning though, the apartment is right next to a bar that sometimes has live music playing whcih you can hear.

The apartment has everything you need, but it's all quite basic. The shower looked dangerous to us, with exposed wires leading to it.

amazing value for money - would come back.

local to everything in the village, beachfront, spacious room with fridge, nice garden and 2 double beds in room and 3 big fans!

No dim lighting in room it was either big light or pitch black, and bed wasn't the comfiest.

We booked to stay for four nights and have some relaxing time in Montezuma. The accommodation was very basic, fine for 1

The view was outstanding and the location very central. The staff we encountered were very helpful.

The room was very dark and the overhead and upright fans didn’t manage to cool the room. The shower wasn’t very effective.

wonderful view and location

the view is incredible- you are right on the beach and in town. you have a lovely place to sit in the evening on the balcony. our room was clean, with 3 fans, which was enough.

there were small bugs that seemed to live in the sink area - but the rest of the room was spotlessly clean.

Great host

Fantastic location. Rooms were clean. Host was very friendly. We woke up one morning to a small leak in our bathroom, which the host immediately sorted and moved us into a new room so we weren't inconvenienced while they fixed it.

Beds weren't the most comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.

Clean room, great location on beach and in montezuma village. nice garden to relax with seats, table and hammock and washing line to dry clothes with external shower to wash sand. Fridge and safe in room. Good value for money. Would stay here again.

This place is absolutely wonderful, fabulous location and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Super friendly and always available to help. We had the balcony view, which was perfect, location is spot on too. The staff come abs clean your room daily, with Fresh towels, I accidentally split my water over the bed which they cleaned and placed clean sheets down. water was nice and warm, bathroom and shower very spacious, only thing is, if lots of people are using the water the pressure becomes quite low, but if you pick the right time the water is fine.

the only thing that was a slight issue for us was the Saturday night, where the local bar played music quite loudly. we stayed for 4 nights and only had the noise on the Saturday which didn’t really bother us as such.

The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. It's probably the best place to stay in Montezuma if you wanna be right on the beach. All restaurants, supermarkets and bars are super close. There is a soda right across the road as well which was so delicious and cheap. Would come back any time. Best bit was the balcony for sure though.

simple room with incredible views and kind staff.

You can’t beat the view. Staff were kind, room was clean and bed comfy. The fan worked well and cooled the room down at bedtime.

Water pressure is low (like many places in CR) and rooms are not sound proof but the ocean view is incredible would definitely stay again.

Great beach location, friendly staff but noisy at night.

Staff was very friendly and great location on the beach.

The hotel is located right next to a loud nightclub so very noisy until about midnight. Also, there is no A/C and the rooms are very basic. Probably fair value for the price.

Decent value for money but too much noise for my liking

- proximity to beach - friendly staff - big room - lovely grounds - value for money within the area, which is all very expensive - coffee machine in room

- noise from local bars - noise from other tourists, though that's not the fault of the hotel -

Exceptional

We loved the location - just in front of the beach. Spacious rooms, hot shower, daily cleaning, friendly host. We liked it so much we extended twice our stay. Best place to stay in Montezuma!
