top kamer, alles werkt, alle voorzieningen zijn er. Werkende airco, ruime en propere badkamer.

Absolutely disgusting

We stayed at Barquinha Nature House for one night, as we were passing by the zone for work. Our room, from the floor to the bathroom to the INTERIORS OF BEDS, was FULL OF LONG HAIR, which was absolutely DISGUSTING. The sheets and pillowcases were totally not clean, as dirty as the floor and the bathroom (there were even remains of faeces in the toilet). Since there was noone at the reception after certain hours, we couldn't request a thorough cleaning. Breakfast was poor but this wouldn't have been a problem if the dishes were clean. There were brown stains on some of the serial bowls and seriously, this experience makes you question everything you eat and use in the entire facility. The price is extremely high for what they offer. I DO NOT recommend.

Foi o local perfeito para a celebração das bodas de pérola.

Um hotel pequeno, ambiente familiar, sossegado. A zona envolvente muito agradável, com várias opções de restauração. O pequeno almoço com variedade. Na reserva fiz referência que seria a comemoração de 30 anos de casados, quando chegámos havia no quarto um pratinho com fruta diversa e uns bolinhos de chocolate deliciosos.

Apenas achei as almofadas muito moles.

Good location for a short day just off the Camino Portuguese

Difficult to find where to check in but got there eventually. Receptionist arrived bit late but was efficient after that

Um quarto e serviço pragmáticos para uma noite de descanso

O local é à beira rio, acessível por uma avenida cheia de árvores frondosas, tudo muito calmo e à noite hiper sossegado. O quarto não é grande , mas é suficiente e tem um WC equivalente. Apesar de estarmos em Junho, quando entrei estava um tanto quente, mas o AC resolveu o problema. O pequeno almoço não era muito variado, mas era servido mais do que o básico. Muito próximo tem um excelente restaurante: Recanto da Barquinha

Uncomfortable bed and no sound insulation between rooms

Location and friendly staff at breakfast

Bed was hard like a rock and pillows had no stuffing. Room had no sound insulation at all. We could hear the neighbors talking through the walls.

Location perfect. Staff very helpful and kind. Very clean.

This is a property that has been updated but mold has moved in. I almost left after the first night but the staff person found a room that had less mold. I have an allergy to mold in Portugal and so it’s a challenge for me because there is so much mold in many places in Portugal . I don’t know how it can be controlled but this very nice hotel has some work that needs to be done. The hotel also has a breakfast which is simple but the coffee is pretty bad which was a surprise for me. I think the coffee machine wasn’t working well. The second morning it was cold!

Quiet park setting

Modern room with a small balcony overlooking the park. Quiet. Checking in was fast & easy. It was nice to have a face to face check in. Wonderful breakfast. You could order eggs. Had pastry, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, juice

It was off the Camino path about 2km. But an easy flat walk
