Laid back; quiet; lovely bush surrounds & the creek itself was delightful - sandy & NO mud!
The park needs a few $ spent on it .

the location was good
no internet service inside the cabin. had to sit outside to get any at all. the cabin was old and outdated and needed refurbishing. people want to stay in something nicer than they already live it not go backwards. it was on the dirty side. shower recess needed a good scrub. plates and cutlery I washed before I used it.

Bush setting on beach, beautiful. Quiet. Friendly staff who provided a better cabin with BBQ when we asked about cooking facilities.

Friendly and helpful staff that was full of excellent recommendations of services around the area. The property is stunning and makes for a great way to start the day walking around the grounds.
The sign to turn in from the highway was right where you need to turn, it might be helpful to be a little before the actual turn off. Though I do understand that some councils don't allow private signals along the roads.

Friendly, helpful staff
No storage space - Nowhere to put suitcases, nowhere to hang clothes
Nowhere to hang towels to dry
No internet (not just wi-fi but the mobile data was woeful) - this made planning our stay almost impossible. Google maps didn't even work.

It was clean for its age and fire was lovely but mouse poo around. Just is a bit old and tired- very friendly owners and lovely river park. Very busy at Easter. I recommend staying in the park when it’s quiet.
New curtains and new Decor would make this place lovely.

Beautiful surroundings and spacious cabin
4.5
Such a beautiful setting with acres of bush to explore. The tidal 'creek' was great for fishing/kayaking and skate park for the teenagers there while there were facilities like the trampoline, and duck pond and other birds to entertain younger ones. As "oldies" we just enjoyed the quietness and setting and didn't even get the chance to fully explore all on offer.
The water pressure (hot water) in the shower was very limited

A delightful place, tucked away in private setting. We had cabin 1 which was very cosy with an old world charm and beautiful woodwork. The park is near the highway but we didnt hear any noise, it's a beautiful bush setting with lots of birdlife. We wished we could've stayed longer. Carolyn is a friendly helpful host.
Nothing!

Location was lovely. Great being
able to have my dog. Nice and quiet.
Some storage shelves for food in the kitchen would be great. The design of the cabin is a bit awkward.

3. There was no shelf for the suitcase.
4. There was no bathmat and the bath floor was slippery.
5. I would have preferred a pop-up toaster.
