Hospitality, friendly owner, who is always ready to give advice and book a great restaurant for you. The BB is located close to the bus stop(less than 10 min), so it makes it possible to travel with no car. To reach the main Poetto beach will take you around 35 min by bus from the place, while the BB has access to a local wild beach. There are several restaurants nearby and a market in 15 min walking distance.
Rooms are medium size, clean and comfortable, with an access to a small privite Terrace, where you can enjoy your evening.

Hugo is a super friendly knowledgeable host. Faro Sardo is in a quiet location a few steps from the sea. A great base to explore the amazing beaches a short drive away. Free loans of beach towels, parasol and even a spade was a great touch.

Amazing place, you can hear the waves at night. The owner Hugo is a very good guy, will make you feel at home, and giving very good advice for the best beaches and places in Sardinia. Really good breakfast, with authentic Sardinian products. We will come back for sure!

Just a short walk to the sea and a short drive away from the busy capital. Only three bedrooms so a very friendly atmosphere. Pleasant surroundings and a very knowledgeable and helpful host.

Location is very isolated, so unless you have a car or a scooter I would not recommend that you stay there. The hotel itself is very nice.

Property is right next to the sea, which we loved! It is surrounded by beautiful gardens, with two heavenly scented jasmine trees. Our room was specious and had two big garden doors so it's was very airy and full of light. Breakfast was lovely, with locally produced honey, marmalade and cheese. Hugo was engaging, welcoming and informative host! He was very helpful with suggestions where to go and what to see! I would definitely like to visit again as 3 nights seemed very short!

Great host, Hugo will definitely make sure you enjoy your stay, he even lent us bikes and SUPs during our time there :D The food is also great, you can try local delicacies during your breakfast. There is a beautiful beach very close to the property, and if you want to visit Cagliari and the more popular beaches you have great bus connections to the city (just a 10 minute walk to nearest bus station). The rooms are very clean and cozy and you have your private little garden to relax in and enjoy the palm and olive trees 😁
We spent four nights at Farosardo and we would choose to stay there in the future as well! 👍

Hugo, the landlord, is a hearty person. It's amazing what a gem he created in the south of Sardinia. The stylish rooms are in a pretty building with a lovely garden (with private spaces for every room, with sunbeds and hammock) with a fence around and parking places. He pays much attention to nature protection, which was reflected in having provided us with a refillable water bottle and a cool bag for the duration of our stay, as well as in the tasty, regional, 0 km breakfast that he provided - eggs from his neighbour's chickens, fresh fruits from his own garden, homemade jam and marmalade with fruits from his garden, honey from a neighbour, sausages and cheeses from a nearby farm, delicious bread from the local bakery, and much more. Hugo was also always at hand with tips about beaches, traffic, restaurants and reservations. Perfect!

You can have a nice and delicious breakfast in the garden. Hugo, the host, is one of the best hosts we ever met. He knows the island, has great tipps concerning trips and he is absolutely chilled and nice to have around.
The rooms are very clean and modern. Every room has access to its own terrasse in the garden where you can have an easy and relaxing day in the sun.
Hugo even did lend a pair of shorts and a shirt to my partner without even beeing asked to do so. He just did because he had heard that one piece of luggage was still missing.
The beach is just a minutes walk away.
All in all we want to thank Hugo for a stay we will certainly remember in a perfect location.
The rooms are not as quite as we know it from home, but that is nothing unusual for Italy.

Hugo who is the owner was like a father to us. We felt like in our own home. He and his girlfriend were open minded, very friendly and always up to showing us new places. Every morning he was was asking us what we would like to do and based on our answer on his 3D wooden map he was showing us wonderful spots. Room was very clean and comfortable. Our daughter has been sleeping in a bunk bad for the first time and she loved it. We would definitely recommend to go there and spend wonderful time as we did!

The host Hugo is polite and friendly. Breakfast was good.
Too far and not practical without a car. I was not given the room I booked for. I asked during my booking if possible to have a room, not on the ground floor. Was given a room above the owners' place without any balcony and small windows. During beach holiday I like to step on a balcony where I can relax, this wasn't possible and the room I was given was not what I paid for neither was it the same as in the picture. The owner should inform me before I arrived to give me a choice. So I paid for 4 nights but left after one day. The owner didn't offer to refund me for it.
The picture of the beach listed on the booking platform is certainly not the same as in actual - the actual is not nice just stone no sand.
