Marvelous

As from the welcome al the way to the goodbye, we got spoiled by the staff. Everything was just perfect! WE really enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner. If you want to visit Cordoba, you're at the right address!

A comfortable stay in a warm and welcoming hotel.

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Very attentive hosts. Large and comfortable bed. Log fire was welcoming on quite a cool day.

Room was a little small but the general atmosphere of the hotel made up for that.

Breathtaking design, generous hosts, perfect location

Patio del Posadero is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The welcome we received was incredibly warm, and the hotel itself is spectacular - the design has been so carefully considered, it is truly breathtaking, and feels like your own corner of Eden. It is amazingly peaceful and quiet, given how close it is to the centre of Cordoba - just a 10 minute walk. Lisa and Jose are incredibly generous hosts, and they and their staff were always ready with lots of unmissable recommendations for what to do with our days. And the finishing touches - drinks and snacks by the plunge pool on the shady terrace, delicious, beautiful, handmade breakfasts in the breezy dining room, with award-winning olive oils made by the family themselves - are second to none. It is such a special touch that anyone who stays with them becomes known as 'Familie.' Thank you, Familie - we will be back very soon!

The whole place is a hidden gem. The design of the room I stayed in was flawless, also the salt pool is a perfect touch to the place .

Beautiful place to stay in Cordoba, would recommend!

- Truly beautiful space: unique, thoughtful design in the room and common areas - Superb hosts: prompt communication via WhatsApp in the days leading up to our stay, Jose gave us a warm welcome, provided excellent recommendations and helped call a taxi to the train station for our departure; we were able to check in an hour early as well as leave our luggage after checkout. It’s clear that the owners put in a lot of effort into making your stay memorable, really recommend staying here if you’re looking for a unique experience instead of just another hotel! - Tasty homemade breakfast enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere

Our room felt just a bit cramped - it was fine for us since we only stayed one night, but if you’re staying for longer or have large suitcases, you might want to book one of the bigger bedrooms. If there’s a way to install a small table in the bedroom area or bathroom to put things, that would be extra perfect!

Great location near the restaurants and historical sights. Friendly professional hosts. Nice areas to relax in. Fabulous breakfast. The room is a good size with a large wet room and modern decor. The bed was very comfortable.

* Beautifully renovated building with great atmosphere * Excellent location: central but in a quiet street * Very nice and helpful staff * Good breakfast

* Room was a bit too small making it difficult to walk around the bed with a suitcase open on the floor * The hotel aspires to make it your home, but being charged for every little thing did not make it feel that way (espresso pod in Nespresso machine, tea, water, etc)

The hotel was absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming hosts and a fabulous stay in Cordoba!

The room was absolutely beautiful and the bathroom was fabulous. The courtyard setting was idyllic. It’s a shame we were only staying one night! The host gave us a warm welcome and showed us how to visit the highlights of Cordoba. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this comfortable and well-thought out boutique hotel - would highly recommend!

Honestly the hotel itself and the setting was amazing! The only thing that gave me a negative perception in any way was that there was dog poop along the road leading to the hotel which was hard to avoid, especially in the dark - but this was not the fault of the hotel or owners. Neighbours should be more responsible!

Hidden gem, wonderful hospitality

The hotel is really beautiful, very tastefully decorated. It's in a quiet street, safe from street noises, but still in the city center, close to the main attractions. But the best if all was the hospitality. We were made feel like at home! They are warm, friendly and joyful, feels like a family. We also got good tips about what to visit and where to eat. We were sad to leave, this is truly a hidden gem.

Nothing to dislike! Maybe, just the fact that the pillows were a bit too hard and we didn't have a water kettle or a table in the room. Also, like in all hotels we've visited in Andalucía, the heating comes through the AC so there is a constant humming noise, but it's not very disturbing.

Exceptional

Perhaps the best place to stay in Cordoba! Brilliant location, wonderful old Spanish house completely renovated with modern furnishings and nice details. Highly recommended if you want some special and cozy luxury. The breakfast was wonderful. It was served to the table in small portions and each portion had both taste and a personal idea. Lisa and Jose are excellent hosts.They had noticed my birthday and completely surprised me. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the experience was unique and we will definitely return to this hotel soon.

An unique experience in an individual hotel run by enthusiastic and friendly couple.

The hotel was located within walking distance of the main sights. We were greeted by Lisa who was extremely helpful. The breakfast was exceptional most being homemade or locally sourced. The shower was enormous and the room individual.

It would have been better if we didn’t have to pay for an extra cup of coffee at breakfast.

Splash out and stay here !

Best towels of the trip ! Deep , white and soft. A great building done up with a detailed designer’s eye. The architect in the family was thrilled with it all. Breakfast was an event in its self with the hosts being the friendliest in Spain ! Location is perfect for Córdoba sightseeing and the room and shared areas lovely calm spaces for tired limbs and culture filled days.

A tranquil stay in a beautiful and carefully restored, historical building.

Jose and Lisa are lovely and from the moment I booked, they were in contact to see if there was anything they could do in advance of our stay. They gave a lovely welcome with a glass of beautiful wine and helped orientate us. The hotel is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean and the breakfasts are superb. When your feet are sore and you want to shelter from the heat, the terrace and plunge pool are perfect. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to friends.

Just perfect - could not have asked for anything more. Just wished we’d stayed another few days!

Beautiful property - lots of lovely details and so much thought is given to your stay. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Lisa, Jose and Lucy gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and which places to visit (all of which we did!). The terrace and pool area is a total haven and very appreciated after a day of sight seeing. And the breakfast was exceptional - hands down, the best breakfast we have ever had anywhere. Lastly - Josè makes one awesome sangria!

Best hotel in Andalusia

The hotel is amazing. Lisa and Jose managed perfectly every moment we stayed in the hotel. The Room is clean and very well designed. The lunch was very good and the breakfast probably the best I have ever had in a hotel.

Super stay. I have to return !

Location is ideal. You will also get super useful info and tips on what to do in Cordoba. (Which we did). Whatever you do, order the breakfast. Super tasty with local ingredients. Friendly staff. We had the top floor room, which was very spacious.
