Exceptionally clean and well constructed. Great bathroom and shower
Buffet wasn’t great. The a la carte menu was good.

Ruime en schone kamer. Eten was lekker en zeker niet te duur. Wifi was zelfs in de kamer goed.

Goed ontbijt. Relaxte kamer.
Locatie vlakbij prachtig nationaal park.
Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel
Het dinner kan wat beter.
Is niet slecht, smaakt best goed.
maar verwacht geen haute cuisine

Generally a good location in green surroundings with pool, bar and a la carte restaurant
On my arrival there was a wedding.
I wasn’t told before- only at arrival.
So I could not use the facilities like pool and garden. But this was the only reason to book a Spa and arrive early.
The noise was unbearable so I had to swap rooms. I still do not understand why they gave me a room next to the noise.
Only after heavy complaints I got another room.
If I would have informed before when I booked I would have decided for another much cheaper option.
At least much quieter.
So be sure if you book for a weekend that there is no function.
I wanted my money.
Didn’t get any apologies or offer of refund or any kind of compensation as it should be in this price league.
Cannot recommend this etablissement.

Room was not ready in the evening, the bed was noisy, breakfast quite basic

Lovely location, great staff really enjoyed our stay
The room where small but comfortable however if I could change anything it would be the mattress in room 5. It was not a foam mattress and u could feel the springs. So change the mattress and it was the perfect stay

Kabalega Resort seems to be the most expensive place to stay in Masindi. I had to move there due to a booking error at another hotel. It's a nice place - great location with quiet gardens and clean room. Good food!
For this price, I think the room was rather average. It was clean, but nothing special. The web site said "garden views" and "balcony" but there was no balcony and the "view" was not of the garden.

Nice pool
Room was not very nice. Very small windows and very dark.

Calm resort on the outsides of Masindi, bungalows surrounded by gardens. The bed was confortable with an useful mosquito net. The air conditioning worked well The breakfast was fair but there was not a big variety of choice. Helpful staff.
I made a booking trough the website and the day of my arrival, the hotel was full and there was no room available for me; at least, the staff managed to book me a room in another resort, which by the way, seemed to have better bungalows. The bathroom needs to be renewed since there were big cracks on the walls.

Breakfast was amazing and loved that we had hot water in the rooms for the showers, that was a pleasant surprise. staff at checkin were friendly. Payment was swift and they accepted all cards!Wifi was brilliant, very strong. Pool water was warm so that was nice. The hotel is spacious, has mango trees and surroundings were clean.
The room was a bit dusty specially behind the beds and the beds creaked. Would have also been nice to get help with our bags at check in.

Should be a great resort. Not great for families.
The food was alright but too repeativity and unexciting.
Poor electricity,
Delay in serving their guests
Very bad water systems. You won't have a proper shower it takes too long to get the water going.
Can't make any payments online. Attend with your USD or UGX. Payment system is so outdated and rates at the hotel are a reap-off.
Msindi is in the middle of nowhere so come prepared. You will be forced to make concessions and make unplanned payments as the town has so little to offer.
If you can stay away.

The pool is great, dj plays music around the pool, you can swim at night, with nice underwater lights.
Rooms are comfortable and big, Decent shower in rooms, comparing to showers in the rest of Uganda.
Good food in restaurants. Nice gardens in public area.
Good location for safari & chimpanzee, in a much better price comparing to the alternative in the reserve.
They don't have a washing machine. Laundry service is bad.
