The environment is good but..
Everyday I had to change the room because of technical issues. Once the bed got bent and the other nights (3 in total )the lock was not working. I stayed in double rooms and the dorm then. The quality of materials its very bad, and the level of work done extremely poor. The rooms obviously share walls with each other, but there are huge gaps in between the pieces of wood. Some are huge like 10cm so you can see and introduce your hand in the other room if you want. It wouldn’t be a problem if you are in the dorm but if you are in the double you do not have privacy at all. The location of the toilets it is quite far away so you have to walk a lot through the area.
They have a swimming pool but you have to pay for it, I would understand if you bring a guess, but no, if you are staying, unless in the other expensive rooms they have, you are gonna have to pay daily if you wanna use it. Once I paid for the buffet which is not included, and it was the worst restaurant, food I have had in my entire life. Some not well cooked pasta, rice, bones with a little bit of hard to bite meat and ketchup.
I think was my second night, after hearing noises in the middle of the night I turned on the light and huge rats climbing the walls. Regarding this, I have to say that they throw the garbage to an open area so it is exposed and doesn’t look very clean, even after burning it is visible and animals eating from there.
Last, regarding tours the info is confusing and quite overpriced.

I loved the woodwork.
You could easily here a neighbour.

The manager and staff were very hospitable and professional; They were very kind to us and even welcomed us earlier than the arrival time and gave us more time to rest in the check-out novel. The surrounding area was very beautiful; The colorful and beautiful wooden huts are very comfortable. I will definitely introduce this place to my friends and we will definitely go there many times. I would like to thank the employees and management.
There is nothing to criticize

Very nice and helpfull staff. Great hospitality. Nice rooms. Use of the facilities from the neighbour hotel, including breakfast, lunch , dinner or drinks. As well as the swimmingpool.
Some rooms are placed nearby a busy road. Some rooms have an open connection with each other; can be a problem if the neighbours are noisy

A relaxing space to be in, with awesome staff and some amenities - like a pool - shared with the next door resort (for a fee)

Travelled with friends, it was great,
I recommend the place in case you wanna stay outside the park and it's budget friendly compared to the places outside the park
The dorms did not have ceiling , but this shouldn't be a problem if you are staying as friends
#hopefully, management is gonna work on it soon,

Really nice backpackers with a swimming pool and nice restaurant. Breakfast is super good and cheap. Ask for Nicolas if you want to do a tour to Murchison Falls from here. This is organised through the accommodation but was superb and fairly priced. This was you can stay at this nice affordable accommodation outside the park and travel in to partake of all of its wonders.

super nice place, with warm and welcoming staff. The room was amazing, there was a issue with a booking and the dorm bed I booked had been taken so they updated me to a double room which was lovely. The hostel is next too a resort hotel so you could use the pool for a small fee and they offered breakfast, lunch and dinner were a buffet from 15’000 to 20’000. what made this place for me was Richard he is the tour guide for Murchison national park. He was so helpful with advice and tips of what to see and do. he was also a life saver as I got trapped in the park with no ride back, thankfully he helped get me back and made me realise you need to go with a car or tour. not a way one ride ha!
laundry is 10 dollars most other hostels it’s 3/5 dollars. The cost of the full tour to Murchison falls and game drive was $290 each for a day. which is a expensive day out for a backpacker!

The staff goes above and beyond! They organized a gorilla trek, hike to Murchison falls and a long safari through Murchison park, all in one day. They are very efficient and their guide, Nicholas, was one of the best we had in Uganda!
The shared bathrooms are not a short walk from the rooms and dorms.

May and Dora are 2 fantastic young women. They are really kind and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay in this fantastic hostel. May organized a nice tour to the Murchison Waterfalls and the chimpanzee trek. The breakfast was great and the dinner what they prepared for me was very delicious. I can really recommen to stay on this wonderful place with the nice garden! Thank you so much for all!

May, Allen and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They really go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. I felt like I was home the minute I entered. Oh and the free breakfast was made fresh for each guests and just amazing!
They helped me organize a couple of trips and connected me with people they trust and even negotiated prices for me. All independent of the hostel.
The Property is beautiful with a huge green space around and they have the cutest puppy, Marco.

May and her team are absolutely amazing! We felt so welcome, everyone was trying to make us feel good and I really hope May will someday get her wish - travelling to Europe. You'll always be welcome in Slovenia 🙂
