Exceptional

Aside from the unforgetable views, the beautiful stay and location that was close to local beach's, restaurants and attractions, the hosts and essentailly Dimitri were lovely and very accomondating and attended to very need. We loved our daily chat's with Yiayia who we will miss dearly. Petra Thea has been a highlight of our holiday to Greece !

Great view and nice rooms. A place which I would definitely recommend it.

The view was amazing and the room was nice and clean. The whole atmosphere of the area was very relaxing and quiet. I really enjoyed the swimming pool and especially in the afternoon when you could see the sunset in front of your eyes. Extra point for the barbecue in the garden as I saw some people using it.

Maybe it is about time for the hosts to think about replacing the mattresses of the beds. To be honest they were not that comfy for my preferences. At least in the room that we stayed for 3 nights.

Fantastic studio with beautiful view.

View was amazing! Clean and very comfortable studio. Pool is great, could do with a few more sunbeds, but otherwise fantastic stay.

Best view, quite, relaxing,at Kalamata town in 10 minutes, swimming pool, nature, clean , everybody very friendly ,parking, laundry, and of course the grandma is the best!

The view over Kalamata from the balcony. The setting with the pool and garden.

The reception. Virtually no English. No instructions given on anything, including wifi password. Had to walk to owners accommodation & ask for it and anything else you might need as no other way to communicate. No hairdryer. Shutters fully cover half the balcony doors so view from inside very limited & quite dark. Absolutely must follow thr owners instructions fir getting to the property otherwise google maps leads you all over the place and you end up at a dead end.

Very good

The views from the patio and from the infinity pool were breathtaking. We loved watching the sun set from the patio as we ate dinner. The kitchen was equipped enough for our dinners of takeout-plus-fruit and the location was close enough to restaurants that offer take out. The internet connection was stable and strong enough for streaming.

The narrow road up the hill was very steep which was a little difficult for our rental car in the rain when we arrived but was fine when it was dry. It would have been nice to have more comfortable chairs to lounge on the private patio and maybe some rubber on the bottom of the patio furniture so it wasn't so noisy when moved.

we have chosen the maisonette and the view being great from all the room is just exceptional on that one. you overlook the entire bay of kalamata directly from your bed. also great pool and very nice sunset

The view here is incredible!

The sunset view on the terrace is superb! Unobstructed view of Kalamata town, mountains and sea. We booked the Deluxe Studio with Sea View, which has an extra large terrace with partial shade. We enjoyed the location of the villa which is very high up in the hills. It provided good opportunity for walks around the hillside among the olive grooves. Room is very spacious with good space in the living room. The sheets and towels are laundry fresh. Bed is firm and comfortable. The AC works very well.

Kitchenette could have been better equipped with basic pantry goods like coffee/tea. The caretaker generously provided us some of their own supply. Though there is a kitchenette with some kitchen tools there is no washing soap/sponge available which makes it hard to keep the place clean. The site says washing machine/tumble dryer is available however there is none in the room. Please update the site information. A lot of construction noises from various neighbouring villas. Just take note to expect this if you choose to stay around this area.

Petra Thea was excellent value . I would highly recommend these apartments to others wanting to stay near Kalamata.

The view was magnificent as was the pool. The apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed.

Breathtaking view on Kalamata

We had an excellent time at Petra Thea. The apartment was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the outdoor space very well kept and enjoyable. The views from the balcony and from the infinity pool are breathtaking.

Very good

It’s a nice place when you stay there with a group of people. But it’s a little remote and not easily accessible. You actually need a car when you are staying there and you need to like driving small rounds with hairpins.

Wow.

Beautiful property inside and out, gorgeous pool and views.

Nothing negative about the property, really. The only downside was the scary roads coming up, but price must be paid for the views. The only other thing, which can’t be controlled by the property, was the other guests who would “save loungers” and have loud unruly kids at the pool all day. I go on vacation to “get away”, not to hear kids yelling all day! So, the only thing I would change is to make it adults only. I’d be willing to pay more for that too! But LOVED the place.

Brand new, very nice view, excellent beds A short distance from Kalamata (15') & airport (20')

Location can be a bit hard to reach (DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS but the instructions from Petra Thea instead) Though new, the funitures are quite damaged

Super awesome!

One of the most breath taking views I've seen. Swimming in the infinity pool and overlooking the ocean is a priceless experience. The pool was quiet and tranquil and we had it to ourselves most of the time- super awesome!

Unfortunately there were no food amenities so buy se food for the fridge before you arrive :)

Exceptional

Everything. The infinity pool was a standout. They even had a Bialetti Moka pot which we used for espresso. Beautiful private patio and the grounds were immaculate. Unit was modern and very well appointed.

Nothing not to like at all. Wish the bathroom had a ventilation fan though.

Nothing. It was the perfect spot. Just maybe so high in the hills, you need to know how to drive with steep slopes.

Amazing views of Kalamata bay. Nice relaxing balcony. The infinity pool was really nice.

Very good

Stunning view from a terrace (especially at night! )and a really great swimming pool. The studio we stayed in was well equipped , nicely and comfortably furnished. There were even some essentials, like salt, sugar, coffe . Towels changed every day.

The owner (caretaker?) was tinkering all the time, repairing different pieces of furniture, using really noisy tools. The problem was - he was doing it about forty meters from the pool, so he ruined a couple of evenings ( difficult to enjoy it, when a power generator nearby is working - or an industrial-sized orbital sander and you feel like at a dentist :(
