My husband and I liked everything about this apartment: the reception, the ease of communication with the host, the apartment itself was sparkling clean, nice, and had everything one would wish for! It is well equipped with kitchen appliances, washing machine, dishes and utensils. Everything is new. There is a nice private table in the garden. There is air conditioning when it becomes hot. The location is excellent: close to the beach and to the train station. You can reach both in 5 - 10 minutes on foot. A perfect place to stay!
A special thank you to Maria for being an excellent host. Whenever we had a question, she replied immediately and was very helpful. For example, there was a minor problem with the WiFi in the apartment. She had it fixed and provided us with another line so that we did not have any WiFi interruption while the regular line was being repaired by their ISP.
To sum it up, Maria is an excellent host, easy to communicate with and very helpful. The apartment is beautifully maintained. We hope to come back as soon as possible!
Thank you so much, Maria!
Nothing could be better. Everything was perfect.

It was clean
My check in was on a Sunday. When I arrived at 2pm (the listing describes check in from 2-6pm), no one was there. I rang both buzzers and played around with the gate. Nothing. I call the contact number and leave a message. I push all the buttons on the website. I have no idea what is going on. It is so hot, and I am very hungry. I had hurried to get there by 2 as I knew everything in the city shuts down at 3. I finally decide to throw my luggage over the fence so that it’s semi-safe and walk around, see if I can find another entrance or someone to help me. But I find nothing and no one. I go back to the entrance and make the decision to climb the fence and hop over the gate. I really didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to leave my luggage unattended for a long period of time. Then I get a text message from Maria saying her boyfriend will be there in 10 minutes to check me in. Weird. About 15-20 minutes later this guy shows up. Ironically, I buzz him in so he doesn’t have to climb the fence too. Then he just walks straight past me without a word, walks to the back of the property and starts fiddling with a ladder. It is all SO WEIRD. I say, “hello, do you have my key?” And he says he does, comes back to me and motions that we climb stairs to the second level. That’s when I know something is really wrong because I knew the units were downstairs. He lets me in and I know it’s wrong, it was like an actual house. At first I thought sure, why not? But then I realize the place is swarming with mosquitoes and is very hot and muggy. I ask him about a/c as I positively knew that the property listed it as an amenity. This place definitely didn’t have a/c or even screens on the windows to keep the mosquitoes out. I said, “No, I want the correct booking. This is not what I booked.” He just shrugs, says “Call Maria,” and LEAVES.
I then text Maria 3 times expressing that I want to be moved to the correct room.
