Lovely accommodation for my overnight stay, recommend highly.

Well laid out accommodation, felt like home away from home, maybe something to do with Louis and Holly's visits :) Staff all friendly and helpful. Lovely to have a welcoming Kit Kat and have 'real' coffee and fresh milk in the room for the morning.

A lovely, safe, comfortable stay with everything one needs and great location.

Gavin is an amazing host, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We felt safe throughout our stay and always had power, WiFi, and no shortage of hot water! We stayed for almost 3 weeks and felt like home away from home.

Home away from home

B&B on Buckingham is in a safe, lush neighborhood in Craighall, so it's perfect for solo travelers, especially women. The rooms are minimalist, yet cozy, with beautiful views of the city uphill. They are well-maintained, equipped, and very clean (many thanks to Patricia for housekeeping!) You don't have to worry about load-shedding because the place runs on solar (a huge plus!). Most importantly, Gavin was an attentive and accommodating host (he allowed me to check out much later because my flight was in the evening). He also prepared breakfast for his guests himself -- a great personal touch, it was like being home. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Tip: If you're visiting for the first time, he will have some useful recommendations for you.

Location as well as the excellent service and food! Best muesli I've ever tasted was made by Gavin. Appreciate that there is power despite load shedding!

Comfortable stay with friendly host

I loved the atmosphere. Was greeted ever so friendly when we arrived. Felt right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the bath, that was the highlight of the room. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, better than any restaurant. The host Gavin went out of his way to make us feel so comfortable. Highly recommend.

It was an unforgettable experience and we can't wait to come back again! :)

The breakfast was excellent, made to perfection, by the chef and host, Gavin. :) He went out of his way to ensure my mom and I felt safe and well taken care of at his property.

I cannot fault them for anything. Everything was perfect and they made our stay fun, comfortable and memorable. :)

Stunning location with easy access to shops, cafes/restaurants. Room was super neat and tidy with a handwritten note(and a lil choccie) with all the necessary info on. Gavin was super helpful and even got a lovely welcome from the gorgeous dog on the property. I will highly recommend this property to anyone and will definitely stay here again. Gavin is an absolute gem and so willing to go the extra mile for his guests.

Loved everything about this place so cant write much here. But maybe just a larger sign of the establishments name on the main wall would be my only crit.

A Worthwhile Weekend

The breakfast was exceptional, as the owner is a chef. The location was upmarket; the decor was stylish. Access to extra TV channels made for good entertainment.Bed very comfortable. Nice pets. Owner friendly and accommodating for my last minute booking. I liked the communal breakfast table and conversation with other guests. Solar panels meant no loadshedding! 😃

The wifi could have been stronger; the bath watet could have been warmer in the morning; the fan in the bathroom quite noisy. The room was small but adequate for a weekend, as the facilities were all there (great use of space). All in all, I would stay again.
