Would definitely return

We stayed in the 3 bedroom spa villa. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and nothing was a big deal. China moon restaurant was wonderful. They tailored their food for the kids which was great. The free shuttle was a fantastic service which we used very often. It’s a peaceful villa 10 minutes from the hustle bustle of ubud.

Amazing staff, beautiful views, excellent food

Staff was very accommodating. Beds were very comfortable.

As expected due to the nature of the facility being outdoors, ants were present. The staff did a good job with night treatments.

Exceptional

The hotel is fantastic! Super kids friendly, beautiful swimming pool with a tiny pool just for kids, calm. There’s a free shuttle to go to the center which is super practical. Away from the busy center of Ubud - we loved it.

Instagramable Experience

I loved our stay! Very friendly and attentive staff. They’re like a family! The villa is Instagramable. The breakfast option to have anytime is amazing, specially that we were jet-lagged. Also the shuttle is available upon request. Everything about our stay was magical! We felt like we were so welcomed and accommodated. Perfect Stay!

Despite that wildlife was part of the experience such as frogs, lizards and bats (just like everywhere in Bali), the staff was very responsive and took care of it.

We loved this Villa.

I love the Villa, the staff, and the owner herself. They all treated us like family. The food was delicious. They allow you to have breakfast at your convenience. The Owner treated us like her children though we behaved like one. We will be back soon. We love you. Highly recommended. Will be back soon. - The Naughty Boys. Don't forget us.

There is nothing we don't like. We loved everything.

the stay was plesent and Carol and her team did their best to accommodate us but for what we paid the quality wasn’t the

the staff were amazing, the breakfast was great and the bed was really comfortable

the ants were a real issue and the bathroom was really dated and need a refurbishment

Quiet property yet near centre of Ubud

Owner Carol and staff are very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to centre of Ubud is a great service. Quiet location with lots of green. Great food at reasonable prices at the “China Moon” restaurant on the premises. Overall a wonderful stay at “De Ubud Villas and Spa”

Stay in De Ubud

The location was really nice, far enough to relax in a luxurious nature and close enough to the center (5min drive) to get some busy too. Staff was super accommodating and very kind. Always smiling. The manager, Carol, even managed to find the combination of our locker that we forgot (a 3 digits locker). How amazing is that. Strongly recommend it.

For kids the playground areas may be a bit limited. There is a big swing but that is pretty much it.

This is a beautiful place with super friendly staff. It is a great quiet retreat from busy ubud.

Restaurant was great and the free shuttle to ubud perfect. Little oasis in unexpected spot.

A home away from home!!! :)

Everything was amazing, especially our host Carol who made us feel like we are part of her family! She gave us a personalised experience and always exceeded our expectations with her efforts and recommendations to make our stay a perfect one! We highly recommend her place for anyone who wants to have a private and personalised stay, and we will definitely love to come back and stay with her again!

Decent villas but owner and staff need serious customer care

Facilities were adequate and good location in Ubud

Stay started off well; facilities good and pleasant reception from staff and owner. However all hell broke loose on last day with accusations of having more people than had been paid for . Paid for 6 adults, 2 children and 1 infant to stay in 3 bedroomed villa with 2 extra beds paid for. Despite informing in advance of members in my family staying at villa (and 3 members staying elsewhere but occasionally coming to socialize); each member submitting passports for photocopying; not having breakfast on some days due to early start; the owner and her staff rudely accused some of my family members of not staying at villa on last breakfast (and they had been staying at villa for the past 4 days). In spite of my explanations , the owner continued with the allegations even on WhatsApp on my way to the airport and in a patronizing manner ended conversation by saying she was not going to charge me for the extra people (which actually there were no extra people to charge for) Till now I have no idea what brought this on and am forced to conclude they were prejudiced and could not tell who was who as we were black people. This whole episode completely ruined our impression of the place and left bitter tastes in our mouths. We were all flabbergasted by the consistent allegations especially by the owner; which I believe she could have handled the whole issue in a more respectful and decent manner. I should say I travel a lot with my family in this large size and this is the 1st time to have such an unpleasant experience.

Service A++

Spent 3 nights and my daughter was feeling unwell the first 2. Carol (owner) was kind to notice and immediately offered her some porridge. The food was simply delicious and the staff were all genuinely warm and friendly. Just awesome. Would definitely love to come back someday....
